Looking for Anime:

I am very picky, sorry :(:

Mech Fighting are a plus
Fast Paced is also a plus
If it's heavy on romance, don't recommend it
Drama is okay
Comedy is a plus
Short Series are nice (less than 50 episodes)
--If you think I'll really like it, then go ahead
Not movie based
Fighting is a plus

Anime's to go off

One Piece (++)
Claymore (++)

Don't Recommend:
- Neon Genesis Evangelion
- Dragonball Z (saw it, it was kay)
- Bleach, too much filler
- Naruto
- Fate/Stay Night
- Full Metal Alchemist
- .Hack (anything)
- Slice of Life (anything in that genre)
- Hunter X Hunter

Extra Information:

These all feature mecha combat and are made by the same studio, Gainax:

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann- a 27 episode fast paced series with lots of awesome and well-animated mecha battles that get increasingly over the top the further the series goes on. The characters are likable, well-developed and super badass; they're comparable to Bang Shishigami from Blazblue. The movies, Gurren-hen and Lagann-hen, are worth watching even though they retell the TV series' story. The latter is especially worth watching since it features an even more epic final battle than the TV series.

Gunbuster- a short 6 episode OVA series with mech based combat. It could be considered a sort of predecessor to the above and is made by the same studio and it has one of the more memorable endings I've seen in anime.

Diebuster- sequel to Gunbuster. While it's not absolutely necessary to have watched the original, some plot points in the 2nd half will have more impact if you watched the original. It's more over the top than the original and has an awesome plot twist halfway through.

Non mecha series:

Read or Die OVA- a short 3 episode OVA action series with some creative and well-animated fight scenes. The heroine Yomiko Readman is simultaneously adorable and cool.

A specific request indeed, but it's good to know exactly what you like. :)

Based on you description, several series came to mind:

Viper's Creed is probably the closest fit, I think;

Patlabor - the OVA and TV are a quite dated, but fun to watch nonetheless. The movies (1 & 2) are exceptional. But they're fairy slow-paced, so not sure if that's what you're looking for;

Birdy the Mighty Decode - not exactly mecha, but it's got great story and action;

Full Metal Panic! - Best.Series.Ever. Check out Fumoffu in particular. You will definitely laugh your lungs out :D

Some newer ones like Break Blade, Super Robot Taisen OG The Inspector and Mazinkaizer SKL might also make your fancy.

And you can always go to Gundam for your mecha fix. :p

I'm surprised you watched Death Note, but not its companion Code Geass going to second this as well then.

All your recommendations were researched by me, and seem fantastic. I'm going to start Gurren Lagann first. Thanks, and way to relate all my stuff together! :)

I looked up your recommendations as well, and FMP looks good. If the comedy is good, then it'll keep me entertained, whilst I wait for battles (instead of bullshit over the top romance). I'll check it out! :)

Break Blade and Viper's Creed looks really interesting too, all the others didn't seem that appealing to me.

I been meaning to get into Code Geass, but we'll see how that goes.

I definitely second TTGL, it matches just about everything. I'd also give Needless a try - it has some of the same manic energy though it's definitely both more violent and more silly than TTGL.

I agree with Helius and Hooves. Full Metal Panic! is great. There is Full Metal Panic!, Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid, and the comedy spin off Full Metal Panic! Fumoffu.

For a moe~ change of pace, you could watch Sky Girls (http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/1051.html). It fits all your criteria.

Full Metal Panic was already mentioned.

I'd also suggest non-mecha:

Madoka Magica (yeah, yeah, magical girl and all that- don't be fooled, it's not anything like a magical girl anime).

Soul Eater

Crest of the Stars (and Banner I)

Not sure if you would like but might be worth checking out:

Chrome Shelled Regios

Shakugan No Shana
