I think the EU leader KNEW of what was to happen when he was gone (btw did he actually die later after taking that HE 9mm round and that supersonic stab?) and the events surrounding his descendant and her newfound partner.

I think the reason why Reki was told to marry (yes, I cant decipher her poker face!) is because her clan probably needs the strong ones. and Reki's family isnt the only one thats probably after kinji....

Yes, perhaps. However:

1- I assume that she would have been mistreated, but never outright abused ie starved. This means she won't suffer from tissue cannabilization or the like, preserving any fatty tissues she does build up.

2- Due to low food intake, extra sugar would be required to supplement which at need she could procure herself (she IS still a master thief after all). Combined with sugars being metabolised first, this will also contribute to the buildup of adipocytes. It won't be too much of a stretch from there to imagine a genetic predisposition towards contributing extra nutrients towards development of mammary tissues. It works out! Really!

I think soo too. A sniper must never reveal its position, and so, it needs to be very calm, very patient, since it musts wait a VERY long time...Thus, Aria would be an awful sniper.

1) Yes, Kinichi is alive. His not dead. Riko didn't kill anyone from all her works. The butei killer is more like a butei abductor. She abduct talented butei or recruit them to join EU.
Kinichi cross dress to activate his hysteria mode. While his cross dressing his in semi-permanent state that doesn't just fade away unlike Kinji which only last for a couple of minutes. But due to over work of nervous system. The side effect of getting a semi-permanent HSS or Hysteria Savant Syndrome or just Hysteria Mode. He enters a long sleep.
Kinji's father which is already dead also can activate his HSS whenever he like but we aren't told yet how he activate it.
Kinji's ancestor. Kin-san a magistrate that works in edo period though I'm not sure. Strips off his clothes to activate it. Showing a part of his body and each piece of cloth been strip off. His HSS goes stronger. Basically his just an exhibitionist.
All the male side of Tohyama family are allies of justice that uphold absolute justice. They work secretly or publicly for the government to uphold their so called justice.

2) Aria's mom was really framed up by EU or rather more like the leader of EU frame her up so Aria will hunt down EU and the leader of EU has his own reasons to do so. In the latest translation after Kinji beat up the leader of EU. That leads to EU scattering. Aria manage to get evidence that she can use in the court. But Kanae-san is still in trial.

3) EU is an organization that is build up by elites and genius. They gather together and learn from each other. There are absolute rule in this rouge organization which was being up hold by it's leader the "professor" but since he was gone. It got scattered.
EU as an organization has no certain goals. And not all the members share the same idea. Some wants to take over the world and some just wants to keep on learning and getting stronger. EU had the most advance technology in the world. So conquering the world is nothing if you become the boss of it.

Hell yeah we are, i'm really impressed by the pace of the translation, I remember when there was only the first volume and I saw the third, fourth and fifth volume being translated at an awefully fast pace.

How many months has it been since Reki tamed Haimaki? I think about 2 months (probably less)? I'm pretty sure it was a huge deal back when Reki first brought a wolf in an all-girls apartment. But since they are Butei they get used in non-ordinary stuff quickly.

And Haimaki is very obedient and well behaved. In the eyes of outside people, he is cuter than ordinary dog.

In vol 3 too. Riko betrayed them again. But they reconcile or rather Aria the first person ever accept Riko for being Riko. Everyone around them call her a failure or 4th. To other family members she is a failure and only a girl who can carry the genes to the next generation. She is being prepared to be pregnant though more like she is being kept alive just for that sake. Because the one who captures her. Mistreated her and doesn't care for her. No one care for Riko. And so the one who jails her make a promise that if she overcomes her great-grandfather or lupin the 1st she will be free. She is targeting Aria for that sole purpose.

There are mo to Riko and among all the girls around Kinji she has the greatest back story and sad life. You should really just read the book because it's translated in baka-tsuki.

Riko is a strong girl. Without help from anyone she becomes strong by herself and try to seek new knowledge through EU. She become a lot stronger and even she doesn't have initial talents unlike Aria which is talented but left without brains (joke but partially true) she succeed on her own. gender isn't the problem in this prestigious family. It "talent and skill" Riko is talentless. She doesn't receive any of the renowned skill from the previews bloodlines. Or to indicate a double meaning with the furigana such that the "power/ability" is related to a "stealth" technique, as others have mentioned. My LN reading experience tells me that the chance of the later case is higher, ie. furigana used for double meaning representations. There are actually 3 options to translate this:

1. translate only the reading (furigana)
2. translate only the writing (kanji only in this case)
3. translate both

The author wants the readers to read it as "Stealth" with the understanding that it is a "Super Power". Choosing (2) will mean the reader reads it in a way not intended by the author, choosing (1) may confuse the reader. But that can be fixed by adding a translator note if you choose either (1) or (2).

If this is an important word to the story and is repeated often, then I will recommend choosing (3), though a translation note will still be in order on its first occurrence. Well if the mandarin version states that as the most frequent then use Koko....I was assuming that it was Cao Cao in Mandarin as well...It would also fit the original. Then just mention it as Cao Cao when her ancestry is mentioned.

Yeah...I'll just keep her real name as Koko, and keep Cao Cao as a reference as the bloodline name. After all, the existence of a different pronunciatoin of Cao Cao is enough to delineate the difference between Koko and Sou Sou, even if Cao Cao is mentioned again with a Koko furiagana.

So yeah, verdict would probably be: Koko - Real name, Cao Cao - bloodline name.

From what I understand, the European took the romanization since the 'c' is pronounced like a 'ts', and a 'k' is used to make the 'k' sound. But in English, the 'c' is either pronounced like a 'k' or a 's'. I think that it's what made the confusion. Normally, when a Chinese go to another country, they keep the romanization as the name, and many mistakes are made (e.g. The 'r' is pronounced like a 'l' in Chinese.)

My writing and translating skills in Chinese may not be as good as Yoake, but that I speak well enough.

Beng is pronounced Hou in Jap and Jing is pronounced Kei....Not too sure on Wen...

It appears that Akamatsu is using the pronunciations closest to Mandarin to romanize kanji...

Well, LuoYang is pretty much in the north part. It should be mandarin, I think, but the Three Kindoms doesn't specify it. I suppose that in SunQuan's kindom they have the south accent, maybe Cantonese, and as for LiuBei's kindom, I think that it was in the north (JinZhou) but somehow moved to the south later.

Since we had countless reference to ancient characters, most likely, yes it will be called 曹操. To all the non-Chinese readers, it will be read as somewhat like (ciao), with the first word read with a lower annotation than the second one.

I doubt the author was considering all these when he wrote it. though, on another note, @Hikari, if you need linguistic expertise, it's a good idea to double post a question in lingua franca. Zell, Doraneko and Eusth are Japanese-otaku, and they might be able to provide some insights. Doraneko, incidentally is from Hong Kong, so he's Chinese and Cantonese-proficient as well.

If you check his Engrish in the end of v2 (the "who flash the shot bang bang" part), I doubt that he's being expertly accurate in any other language since English are commonly taught in Japanese school than Chinese/Romania/etc. So I guess he's just using what he knew.

An anonymous person corrected Sayanaki's Romanian in v3c4, where the dialogue was directly taken from the novel. There was quite a difference. It's highly possible that he's not being accurate at all.

Anyways, last I've seen, only a few toradora chapters are translated in Tagalog. I think it was almost pointless translating it to Tagalog since Filipinos can read both language fluently and imo, I think Filipinos appreciate English more than Tagalog...

There are only 2 foreign language so far for HnA. kira is translating French, and the Spanish translation resumed somehow with a different translator. I am wondering why they are no Chinese translation in bakatsuki? HnA is already finished up to the latest volume I believe. Or those Chinese translation community disallows such action?
