Why is there a Version 2? What are the differences?
maybe they made it in better quality or there where some errors in the subs and corrected them?

They re-translated the theme song to be more accurate, according to their message board.
I don't think any amount of re-edits can fix the how craptacular this anime is. Just another in long string of bad game-made-anime.

I agree. I need something to ease up the tension and depression of watching Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien. Also, Captain Falcon is so freakin' cool! :)

Welcome to the forums but you need to pay a little more attention as to what these forums are for.
This is the Fansub forum for discussing anime series currently available as fansubs.
The AnimeSuki site is primarilly a BT site, and one where we list fansubbed anime. If you want raws, then I suggest you find out for yourself. As you mention, IRC is one way to find out, I suggest you have a look to see which groups (Miyuki-Fansubs (http://www.animesuki.com/group.php/95.html) and A-M (http://www.animesuki.com/group.php/167.html)) are fansubbing F-Zero Falcon Densetsu and ask there. The two links should give you the IRC channels for those groups.

I have F-Zero GX for Gamecube and I think it is awesome. I flipped when I saw this anime because it is almost exactly like the game. Too bad they have only subbed 2 episodes, I want them to release more so bad.

You're better off going to the fansubber's IRC channel or forum to ask instead.
I hope they will sub more episodes.. it is surprisingly good anime.
