One day, Yasuke was working up the courage to confess his feelings for his childhood friend Akari. It was the perfect opportunity, since the two of them were going to eat dinner alone together at his family's shrine. Before dinner, he rushes through the daily shrine rituals and accidentally breaks a sacred mirror.

A goddess, who looks like a cute girl, curses him for it, and now he will die if he's ever separated from her. All too late, he learns that she's a goddess of misfortune, and horrible things happen around her whenever she's upset. Will he be able to get the goddess to lift the curse? And how will he ever explain this to Akari?

How is it not one. He might not be confessing straight love for the girls but he's expressed interest and caring for them and is willing to make them both happy. Nope for me his affection seems more like a love to a little sister. Probably came from his *brutal* experience with his older sister, where he wished for more lovely-cute family relationship.
As far as I remember he had some feelings for the childhood friend right? (was so long ago I read it and kinda forgot)
Then comes the hime and him taking care of her. But its just me pointing out that manga stopped at friends/family relationship so that it can extend some more, until he really will confess. Most of the stuff he says have a second bottom, like this chapter *cant live without you*.

hmmm... I believe fox deity is more than one in Japanese folklore, including Kamaitachi trio

9 tailed fox simply the most powerful one among them, and there's not only one 9 tailed fox exist (like in Marugoto Anjyu Gakuen or Kanokon).
In case 2 Kyuubi met, they simply duke it out, to see who's the one must hide their 9th tail, so only one gonna show all of them.

and all fox deity exclude Kamaitachi, can shape shift or create illusion, so if this 2nd Akari turned to be a fox, then it's not so surprising for me:D although I wonder what chibi-Amaterasu can do against it :p

Even if Hinata is more powerful all-round than Orihime is, even she cannot stop Orihime's curse (that black fog of misfortune that seeps out of her).

I'd say the only thing that would be unfortunate for Yasuke is that he cannot afford to let any of the goddesses in his harem to become jealous (at least not to extremes), but other than that we can all agree he's a lucky man.
