no ZONE thread here?

1997: joined in vocal & dance unit at Sapporo's "Studio RunTime" Artists (talents) development school

1998: in March - formed {at first as TAKAYO +7 dancers, then unit was reduced to 6 members and at last to 4 present members}... in June - started activity - appeared on local events, TV, radio, magazines

1999: ZONE - 4 singing and dancing girls {with the average age around 13 years only!} - released special first CD at minor company KNOCKERS Records (Tokyo) - it became indie hit {#1 on chart}, established company sale record

2000: band further developed music instrumental skills (on guitars, bass and drums in addition to original singing and dancing)

and 2003...........Takayo Okoshi leaves Zone to further her education and is replaced by Tomoka


Seriously I thought their last album was quite boring, but I do generally like their songs; Secret Base was excellent. I don't think they write their own songs, which would explain why I couldn't tell one Zone song from the other. But they're cute, inoffensive and younger than me. Oh well.

Tomoka was going to part of the original ZONE, but was... TOO TALL. :twitch:

Hmm... The only ZONE song I liked was Akashi.
