Anybody waiting for the release of volume 1 on 11-25? I sure am even though I have seen the fansubs a gazillion times already. :heh: It has to be one of my favorite anime of all times. :love:

I've had it over a year now... It's already available from Odex (legally, no bootleg):

The only thing is that the subtitles aren't quite up to American
standards, but they're certainly not bad and easy to understand.

The only problem is that it's Region 3 (=Asia) and not Region 1 (=US/Canada)
and that you would have to order it from Singapore. But the price
certainly isn't the problem: S$ 52.11 = US$ 30.25 -- and that's
for the entire series (the set is 2 discs in one DVD case).

Get the R1s or be shot! =P

(Yes, I actually do suggest people with the Odex set rebuy the series in R1 - the Odex translation accuracy is spotty at best and the video quality leaves a bit to be desired sometimes. Plus, none of the Japanese side extras carried over... and the R1 has a very pretty box!)

And at 4 discs also about 2-3 times more expensive. Then again,
if you REALLY like the show a LOT, then of course, go for the release
with the absolute best video and sub quality plus extras.

The R3s are also, as far as I know, out of print, as Odex was forced to go back to VCD-only due to some financial issues.

Of course, I'm crazy enough to own the Odex R3s already, am getting the R1s as they come out, and am slowly picking up the R2s ^^;
