Have not seen a thread on this series airing Winter 2012.

Essentially it is a three minute short centering around a round fluffy cat and is a combination of slice of life and comedy.
Here's the cast:
Akira Kamiya as Shigeru Satō
Ikue Ohtani as Poyo
Fumika Chiba as Maki Yamashita
Genki Muro as Kōta Suzuki
Hidekazu Ichinose as Hide Satō
Suzuko Mimori as Moe Satō
I just saw ep 1 and kinda liked it - lighthearted stuff. :)
Not sure How I should label the prefix to this thread ... it is aired by NicoNico but then simulcast by CR three days later.
Anyway - maybe a friendly mod could move this to the "Ongoing Series"?

This series is probably one of the cutest things I watched in a long time. Still I wish there was more then one episode per week.

I enjoyed ep 3 too ... this show is quite suited to 3 minute snippets. :)
I'm surprised at the lack of love for this series here. Granted, there isn't much to discuss content-wise with how short each episode is, but there's plenty great stuff with the characters. I especially love the combination of Poyopoyo and Shigeru (the dad).

I've noticed that the 3min episode series tend not to get much love in general. Too bad, Poyopoyo is great!
And yes Poyopoyo and Papa Shigeru do make a great team!:D

I'm enjoying the BGM very much here... And also enjoying the shift in focus to the supporting characters - Hide, Shigeru, and the neighbor cat (who looks like he fell out of Chi's Sweet Home) as all of them are much more interesting than the female lead.

Poyo is amazing, and is nice to see Gokudera's seyuu in another role (even if it is a 3 min show) :D

I do - Muteki and WhyNot have done some.
Ep 5 was not quite "up to par" as the others for me, but I think that may be partly because I am not fully aware of the details of Setsubun (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Setsubun).
Still, not so bad. :)

Oh god. Oh god. That reverse Hikaru Genji plan in episode 3. Seriously, this is too awesome. And that garness. Oh god.
All of the characters in this show are so bloody damn interesting. The main girl is thus far the least interesting one and she beats the vast majority of anime females by a long shot.
Why am I watching this only now? And why doesn't this air every damn day?
Okay - ep 6 was pretty nice. It's nice to have more neko brought into the scene. :D

At least 13 I know, but I haven't officially heard one cour. I'd hope a 3-minute show would at least get two.
I really do enjoy this series - always a relaxing and amusing break in the day.
Also just caught up with eps 10 and 11. Ep 11 really made me laugh for some reason!
I somehow had also assumed that it was only getting 13 eps.... :\

I wonder, is anyone else watching this show? Maybe you have to love cats, but it's making me LOL pretty much every week. Sort of like Chi's Sweet Home in that sense, but much edgier.

I started watching Poyopoyo after some episode. I really liked Chi's sweet so as sooo as I discovered Poyo I started watching it. I like this short, relaxing anime that let you to take a breath inside al the fighting scene, blood, angst and so on of the other anime. The characters are quite developed. I like Hide and is problematic relationship with Poyo. I prefer the males characters, including the hamster fanatic Suzuki, then the females. But they seems well balanced.
I also hope in a new season

Man ... it's been a while, but I finally caught up on the eps of the past few weeks - up to ep 19. Decent stuff that continues to deliver, although I must admit to lol'ing at poor Poyopoyo getting the shave like that. :heh:

I can yet tell if the little brother of Poyo owner likes or dislikes the round cat, anyway this serie is really funny ( and the cat don't speak just says "nyan" ^^

I was almost expecting them to have Poyo start with another family. (They never really went into any details on just what exactly happened to Poyo before being taken in by the Sato clan; I was picturing Poyo going from family to family, or something.)
