Summary
Maria Blackhazel is a beautiful genius with heterochromatic eyes. Oh, that and she's also the leader of a ruthless, multinational private military company that brings forth chaos and destruction. Known as the "Princess of Pure Darkness" around the world, she's the subject of many people's admiration, hatred, and fear. But to the main character Siyoung, she's an irrelevant person living in a completely different world.
That is, until one day she suddenly shows up and kisses him.
"I wanted to see you, Onii-sama..."
And just like that, Siyoung was given the world's greatest little sister.

Looks cool. I read the synopsis and it reminds me of Oreimo slightly, but the heroine is more deredere rather than a flippant tsundere (not trolling Kirino I like her), and her choice of words seem epically pure.
This looks like a winner can't wait for an update.

Yeah, it's pretty bad.
It's not THAT bad, but I like preserving the subtle feelings of sentences. That's partly why I don't try to translate Japanese LN: I can't bring out the full power of the story out. Basically, I set a very high standard for myself.

It's Korean, but to portray the feelings conveyed properly, Japanese words are being used to make it easier for the Japan-centric fans to understand.
Although the Japanese words are used for the sake of the fan's understanding, I'd prefer to read this with the original words.
The story seems interesting, but with a little teaser like that, I can't even imagine how will this develop.
From the illustrations and that "brings forth chaos and destruction" description, I'm already very interested. And Imouto!? AWESOME.
I know Baka-Tsuki picks this up because this has certainly piqued my interest. The premise is like Oreimo but reversed.

Imoutolicious Light Novel Translations already picked it up. And apparently they've started to translate it so we just have to wait for it.

I wonder if any of the translators (except imoutolicious) are going to pick up all the subtle Korean cultural and internet references in the book. This was written by a DCer, someone who came from Korean online forum DC (comparable to 2ch), and this book is full of hard stuff.
So you've read it?

Considering it''s not even the full first chapter, it's basically an introduction chapter and not much revealed yet. Though I'm pretty much hooked to it already. Looking forward to see the next parts, and chapters.
I just read the first chapter and it's really awesome.
The main dude is a spineless wimp by the looks of it, and his sisters are quite demanding and over the top flippant and arrogant. It's hard to makes out if they're both tsunderes or one of them is either plain sadistic, and scheming like Kanade from Mayo Chiki.
Can't wait for part two, this looks like this is going to be an awesome series!

He is half Korean and half Romanian, it's probably his father that a playboy and end up have offspring in Korea. As Black Hazel family member it's not hard I think for the father to get laid on other country:D

Not sure, but if it helps preserve some puns etc that might be lost in translation, then I don't mind that being used.
Although, there's also the footnotes, so as long as I can find a way to know that the character just made a joke, I'm okay as long I can understand.

If his father is so wealthy and so is his mother then how come he was sent to the orphanage and has been ignored all this time and he doesn't have any idea of his true lineage while his two younger sister already knows he was and why did it take so long before he was finally or officially became a part of their family

I don't think so cause there is no way everything they gained from Maria only furthermore their bloodline came from royalty that means at the very least they are wealthy enough as it is... And the same goes for his mother side too.....

I don't think if they have enough power and influence I think they can put him in a 24 hour surveillance or better yet bribed the orphanage to never let him be adopted... To me I think he was been thrown away by his parents for being not on the level to be the next heir I think like compare him to Maria he would look like "Unko" and the same goes for his sister on his mother side....

Hmm, I think Siyoung is an illegitimate child between the two families, the Blackhazel and the Sunwoo. This explains why he was "abandoned": He is an heir to both sides of the family and poses a grave threat to the power balance within the families.

yup! I have Koala, Crocodile, and Gorilla as pets. (mostly keep in the zoo)
If my favorite Crocodile feels hungry, I'll just throw a fat koala into the pond, if they still hasn't breed yet, I'll throw chicken, or human, or cow, or anything else it can chew on :D
I like em since they didn't picky about their food.
Gorilla is just for display to the guest, sometimes my guest want to play and they'll wrestle with em :p

Anyway, it seems the author learned from his mistakes from the first book and thus wrote volume 2 to be more appealing to the general population (reducing DC-centric jokes, for example). It also tells the history behind the MC and his sisters, and why they are the way they are. It's getting lots of good reviews from bloggers, so I think we'll be seeing a great story forming.

Based on my memory, the most recent manhwa that got animated is the Blade of the Phantom Master, and that was a joint animation project between Korea and Japan due to the series' immense popularity in both countries. At the moment, there aren't any sponsors that are willing to fund animation projects of Korean LNs or anything related to comics for that matter. There simply isn't a feasible market for them. The most you'd probably get is a drama CD, and that's if they get passed by those femnazis and moralistic review committees.
Anyway, to simply answer your question, I guess it'd a notable increase in the level of tolerance/acceptance by the general populace in regards to their opinions on otaku culture.

The MC so far seems like a normal dude but it seems he his a distorted view of himself. I get that sort of feeling from him because of the fact when he was talking about his past in a earlier chapter about him feeling like he has no place in the world. But that may stem from the fact he was abandon by his biological parents and then seem to be adopted to a family that later on didn't care about him either.

Lily is quite attractive not because her cold demeanor but her body, I know that some homosapien born with unbalanced growth and ended with small posture compared to average, but for Lily case, I think she's some kind of genetically enhanced human girl to stop her growth by messing area that control it (I think its around the back of head) or she'll end up has appearance as 'dwarf' and not properly slender little girl
so I think Lily is normal teen girls but with appearance as young toddler
but acting like she's a kid to fool people.

New chapter is out giving some information on why Maria is the way she is.
To be honest it felt weird hearing her refer to herself as "this girl". It kinda sad on how emotionally broken she is and how she was trained into being a monster otherwise she wouldn't be able to live. Although that does not excuse the countless families she has destroyed and the people she has murdered yet it understandable considering her family is full of people who are monsters. To her Siyoung is literally her light and the only family member she feels can completely accept. Not even Dorothy her own twin sister who she been living with for years can never take up the spot Siyoung has in her heart.
The new chapter just came out.
Dorthoy helping out Siyoung in his predicament with him being bullied by some low class jerks which lead to them acting like dogs. Lily acting very attached towards Siyoung and always wanting to be with him. Maria and Siyoung bath time and getting closer together.

Too many stories to tell, too few pages to write, too hasty an ending (and a relatively crappy one at that). It had potential, but faced the limitations of the Korean LN market. Let's see what the author comes up with in the future.
More importantly, I'll probably get some time to work on a translation, if ImAKami needs a hand.
I just hope the ending was good and that the main characters didn't die. Wouldn't be surpise if the author had Maria married someone else other than her brother because of it being cancelled.

I'm more focused on the "censorship" (for lack of a better word) which tends to shoot down "controversial" stories. That's the main reason why the novel ended at four volumes, as the author wrote in his afterword.

Ok so take example from the "Sister" series in ToAru where as the clone has been experiment to intake the same food and the same training however the result is still the same that states that even a perfect clone is not the same as the original.

Still a stupid example. Read up on heterochromia iridum.
Vol.1 of Sekai ichi no imouto sama is now done. It was good read and was very interesting to me. It was refreshing that it was different from other light novels I have seen.
Edit: I also want to thank the team at imoutolicous fo rtaking time out of their lives to translate these Korean Light Novels for us to enjoy.

From what I gather it was because of the ratings the novel was branded with which was a r-18 or something like that status because a snitched decided to informed a moral committee of what they found offense in the light novel which made it the first korea light novel to achieve that status. Maybe the publishers felt that it was risky to keep running a series like that and told the author to finish it as soon as possible.
