I'm sorry if this has been asked before (I don't see any thread on it..) but I heard somewhere there was an unaired episode of Fumoffu which will be on the japanese DVD. Can anyone confirm/give more info on this?
the unaired episode is a two parter which was originally supposed to follow the 1st airing. it will be included on R2 DVD #1 which is coming out later this month.

The unaired episode will be released along with the first DVD for FMP:F on November 27th.
It was unaired due to coinciding with a social event happening in Japan at the time it was supposed to air. The story was coincidentally very similar to what was happening at the time in Japan, and the producers at Fuji TV decided to pull the plug on airing that episode as it was "unacceptable" to air at the time such an incident occurred.
The unaired episode will be released along with the first DVD for FMP:F on November 27th.

Short story... the guys which Sousuke shot down in the episode before (the one with girl friend) joining a woman in order to beat Sousuke up. She got the idea that the key to make him defenseless (Sousuke without any weapon) is to kidnapp his girl friend; in other words they kidnapp Chidori.
To get Chidori back he goes to the kidnappers place where already dozen students waiting to beat him down... In the moment they want to attack (since Sousuke had to throw away all his weapons) Sousuke aims with his fingers at the top of the building; There they see the younger brother of that woman (she is the leader and had the plan) who is tied up in the air with just some ropes. In the next moment Sousuke switched 3 buttons on a *remote* (?) and three of six ropes explode...
The woman wants to kill Chidori if Sousuke don`t set her brother free; Sousuke just smiles and say that he won`t follow orders of kidnappers and she should kill Chidori.
In addition to that he add, that all people around have something important which they don`t want to lose... then he talks one on one to all the guys who wanted to beat him down and told them examples what he could done already... in other words, he took revenage on all things which are important to them (and all real examples for each person). ?
In the next scene all guys running back home *g*. So far... i won`t describe the end.

But capturing hookers in a steel cage at gun point in that other episode was okay.... ;)
Anyway, I understand it wasn't aired because of some similar real life event. (Much like the not airing of movie/series about terrorists shortly after the Twin Towers incident.)
The reason is because, at the time it was supposed to air, there was this incident in Japan:
A 12-year old middle school student kidnapped an eight-year old kid, sexually molested him (forensics show his genitals with razor cuts), and pushed him off of a ten-story building, killing him.
Sagara "kidnaps" Akutsu's little brother, hangs him with ropes above, and tries to intimidate Akutsu Mari to give up with the threat of making him fall
As for the above mentioned incident, the revised Japanese law for punishable age was lowered several years ago from 18 to 13 (due to an infamous incident about a 13 year-old kid decapitating a mentally-challenged elementary school kid in Kobe, and putting his head on top of the school entrance). However, the kid in this case happened to be 12. Tough luck. His punishment? Nothing - only a 10 day suspension from school. The mayor of the city put the entire blame on the kid's parents, and they were dragged out into the street to make a formal apology, while the kid probably stayed at home to play FFXI.

The kid doesn't need to go to jail, he needs to go to a mental instituion. (and he probably has)

It was funny, but reading about the real-life kidnapping and murder kind of put a damper on my completely enjoying this episode.

Man, haven't watched it yet, but after reading kj1980's post about the incident, it just sickens me. I'd probably try to kill the kid too if I was the parent. If I only got an apology I'd feel like I was ****** up too.
Both parents and child should be held responible for their actions.

Just watched it. It's funny, I was pretty much feeling the same way Chidori was until Souske let the kid down. This was a cute episode nonetheless. Kind of makes me sad that it wasn't aired becuase of what some idiot did.

you're mistaken, the first dvd had both unaired eps because it had the first two eps on it, first two eps were parts 1-4, which includes both unaired parts (which were parts 2 and 3)
i pointed this out to an op at akingdom and told him that the raw for the bread shop ep was already out, so they'll release it whenever they sub it, you wont have to wait that long its only a 1/2 ep that needs 9 mins of subbing

Ok here it is.. FYI We are almost completed with our sub of the Special. Should be out today or tomorrow.
Unaired episode 3 starts off with the hospitalization of the lady who sells bread for lunch (because of Sosuke). The Student Council then decides to sell bread while she recovers. A specific teacher who we've seen before goes on the rampage and tries to poison or otherwise hurt the food that is being sold. Sosuke has a few surprises though.
That's all I'll say!
