I think the girl is the purple-haired one we have seen at least in Ep 80 15:45; she's a member of ANBU, I think it was shown in one of the previous eps.

So I think Obito might be the guy with the goggles... Probably.

Im pretty sure the chick had blonde hair in the anime. That chick also looks alot younger than kakashi IMO

Alot of people have entertained a thought or too, but the answer is, no one knows... (yet).

The best guesses have been the guy with goggles being either Asuma (with cigarette) or Gemma (with stick in mouth) and the girl is Kiba's mum (about the right age).

i'll put my post in a spoiler because i don't remeber if i saw/read this in the manga or in the anime, but it's not THAT important and i'm pretty sure it's said in the anime


Both of them are dead. Kakashi said (more than once) that "all those i cared for are dead" and this includes Yondaime-sensei, his friends AND family.... soooo pretty much both are dead


btw: my guess is that obito is the one with the diving googles and a stick

Yondaime's the fourth hokage, The big guy on the left image

And no Kakashi ain't a jounin there. He might be a chuunin since he became that at the age of six.

What?... Yondaime? that's his name? I always thought it was something else, but I can't remember... have they even mentioned his name besides the "4th hokage" in the anime?

Yondaime is his title meaning he's the fourth hokage. About his name. I've got no clue. I don't remember his real name being mentioned though.

that guy looks like Dan, not the 4th, but i know the 4th was kakashis sensei, weird.

Do take in mind that this is all speculation. Nobody actually knows who's who on the image. Except for Kakashi off course.

Seriously ... don't take any of that too seriously ... all we know is that Obito is Kakashi's friend that died on a mission. Those are the only facts.

Well...Dan is you'll find out later in the story. But suffice it to say, that person is really Yondaime; the fact that they look alike doesn't really mean anything, I think.

Obito, or not obito? who knows? it would make sense that it is him.

And btw, yondaime = 'yon' + 'daime' = 'fourth' + whatever you translate 'daime' into (lord, or master, or boss)

I think that Obito was a member of the Uchiha-clan..
my guess is that Kakashi optained his sharingan from his dying friend during battle, with some kind of special jutsu or something, me wanted to give kakashi a gift before he died.. so he gave him the sharingan in some way
