View Full Version : Any series similar to Scrapped Princess?
Greetings, everyone.
I am merely wondering if you know of any anime series similar to the "Scrapped Princess" series? I find the story, the artwork, as well as pretty much everything about that series to be next to perfect, and believe that it will hard for me to find a series with similar quality. This series is the only one I have seen, and would love to find more of that type.
Anime movies I have seen, and found excellent, are: Princess Mononoke, Laputa, and Spirited Away.
Any suggestions appreciated :).

the costumes and the "magic" are rather similar designs as scrapped princess too..

Escaflowne seems most obviously similar to Scrapped Princess.

You can be more precise than that. They're all Ghibli Miyazaki.
Allrighty then, thanks for your tips.
I just got the first episode of Naruto, and will watch it shortly. Im also planning on checking out 'Fullmetal Alchemist', though there seems to be only 7 episodes out of 50 avalible from animesuki.com =/. Does anyone know any other way of downloading, or purchasing them from an online store that can ship to Europe?
I would also like to know how to get a hold of those movies. Again, thanks for the tips :).
BTW, I just noticed when I click the reply button, I only get the text from the previous post quoted, while you have also the text from the post before in the quote; did you insert it yourself, or does the reply button work in another way for you?
No, I sorted it manually.

It´s airing in Japan at the moment, and only 7 episodes (8? dunno, as I am not following it) have been shown in TV yet, so finding episodes further into the series would be no mean feat ... ;)
