On a japanese site I was looking at about Naruto they had something that looked like a Live Action Naruto. It was in japanese as I said so I couldn't read it but it was definetely a Live Action Naruto... It was scary :eek: :twitch:

It will suck. I don't know if anyone ever saw the Live Action DragonBall Movie, oh boy, did it sucked? The same thing could happen to Naruto.

I wouldn't say the DBZ live action movie sucks becuase it's still being filmed edited last I heard, also they got Jacky Chan as Goku(I think that is how you spell the actors name) and Jet Lee as Vegeta, with computer effects like that of "the matrix" it could be very good.

U obviously havent seen the old...OLD live action. OMFG it was god-awful. Terrible dubbing (classic case of the "mouth moves even when not talking" dub) and non of the characters even look like who they're supposed to (although Roshi was pretty good).

Oh, and the new L-A DBZ movie has been cancelled, check the official DBZ site (i was bored k? :heh: )

Here is a link to info about who is not doing the DBZ live action. After reading this it begs to be asked, if they were asked to do DBZ maybe they would be asked for Naruto and that could be cool.(not for the FOX part though)

Damn it all. First, they tell me they are making a new movie and now its cancelled. I hope the Evangelion movie won't suck, the good thing is that they have the same people that worked LOTR.

Not gonna bother reading thru the thread but just to point out it would kinda be impossible without a lot of special effects which would be too costly for a tv live action series imo.

Ever since i saw Fist of the North star live action i have been totally against the whole idea of it.

But, and there is always a but, no matter how lame they are, something always makes me watch them, and even go out of my way to watch em, so i guess im kinda on the fence with this subject.

yeah I did see that movie, it is god-awful but what do you expect from a punch of scrwny japanese fung fu wannabes, that movie was filmed ancient school, so old schoolits old to our old school. they dont have anything for special effects.

If you want to see good special effects for an anime style movie thats live action there is a good one out, It has an awsome CG effect of an airliner turning into a giant robot, matrix quality effect, but the movie itself sucks causse even though the effects are way above top notch. they forgot to add story which gives the movie as a whole a B rating but those effects and a good naruto based story line and you could have a nice live action movie, But I think that that is as about as unlikely as Sakura growing a left eye sharingan, right eye byukugan, shikamaru tatics with chouji's clan size changing moves, while opening Lees 5 gates and holding (parden me while I finish this in spoiler)

while doing Chidori in the left hand and Rasengan in the right, growing manga Tsunade breasts an Orochimaru length tongue and barrowing Naruto's Kyubi (cause she likes the tatto the seal makes) and keeping Garaa as her personal pet sand raccon-dog to guard the big metal play pen she keeps sasuke in so she can have him all to her self like a male concubine. And I think that will happen right after hell freezes over pigs fly, a cow jumps over the moon, the Fork pops a cap in the dish and the spoon for running away, Elvis comes back from the dead and sing at the State of the Union address for George Bush. Aliens are found in lazy boy recliners watching "Buffy the vampire slayer" on area 51, the Timberwolfs win the Finaly 4 and the Vikings the super bowl both in the same year, the Y2K bug kicks in, Jesus returns to earth and starts a "legalizing Pot" campaing and is arrested for drug smuggling 3 months later on the mexican border after shooting a border patrol police guard trying to escape and the 3 people to "throw the switch" at his excution all happen to be jewish, while be a twist of fate George Bush just happens to be the govoner of texas again and tells the Pope That if jesus does resurrect himself he'll be happy to "Fry him again".

I firmly believe ALL of THAT ^^ will happen long LONG before people are able to make a great live action film based on a anime that has BOTH story AND action equal to the series from which it is based.

P.S. If I forgot anything of my "List of Shizzit that AIN'T Gonna Happen" feel free to add it in later posts by starting it out as "Shizzit that AIN'T Gonna Happen before they make a grat liveaction movie (are/is)....."

whats the site with this live action movie preview thing? i wanna see some pictures. they should make a cg naruto movie, like shrek taht way they keep the cartoony feel and can make it live action enough to be cool.

Well now I'm going to self contridict myself but I'd have to agree it would be funny but I wouldn't want to see it... Itachi is probably gonna' look all screwed up and Naruto is going to be played by some 20 year old dude :heh:
