Well, some of you might know Dungeon Siege 1. It's a totally awesome rpg game. Dungeon Siege 2 is coming out soon and I've decided to make a total naruto conversion for it. I've already started doing some of the work for the game, but I don't seem to be able to find a name for the game. I saw some other dude on this forum asking for help with a game name, so I thought I might as well. If dungeon siege 2 is anything like 1 then me and some friends will be able to do an awesome total conversion for the game with online multiplayer part where you can go on missions and such together. The name has to have something to with the type of game it's going to be. Hope for some help, as I'm really bad at thinking up names

What's gonna be the basic setting for the game, that may help with a name. Also, what is Dungeon Seige about, more info on the style of the original game and the conversion would be nice.

Dungeon siege has the princip of diablo if you know that game. Only dungeon siege is in 3d. It's a game where you start of with your little dagger and then you go around killing monsters like crazy while completing a storyline. It has both magic and hand-to-hand combat.
What I'm making is a total conversion meaning I'll change everything in the game, almost making a new game, just using the engine of DS2. I'm creating botha single player storyline and a multiplayer world. In the single player world you'll start of as one of the known chracter like Naruto, Rock Lee, Sasuke, Sakura etc...and you'll of course start as an academy student. The you'll go to the academy and start learning about the game, how to control your character and such (the well known introduction part). After graduating as a genin, you'll start doing missions for the village (It'll be Konoha). You here raise in the ranks and your character will grow by time. While you doing this there'll be one main storyline building up. While you're doing all kind of missions and such you will sometimes hear of an upcoming war or something and there will be rumors of a coming attack. Then once you're high up in the Jounin level, the village will be attacked and you'll have to help defending. I havn't thought much of the storyline yet, and the main storyline has caused me some trouble (I'm not good at such things as names and storys)

Yes I know Diablo, I'm currently playing D2 a lot. Okay, now I have a general idea of style, story, hmm..... :thinker:

LoL..you should try Dungeon Siege...imo it's way better :P ...as for the name; it doesn't sound all bad, but I'll try and wait a little and see if someone comes up with somehting better :D

anyways, you want to make some sort of mod, do you know how to do that?
I hope he knows how to, otherwise announcing anything is just pointless and will only make it even more of a failure.

whahaha...you're doubting my abbillities huh? :heh: ...Don't worry about that one...I've got plenty of experience to make such a total conversion for naruto. LoL...There would be no meaning to this thread if I didn't know anything about 3d and programming :P ....anyways...the plot idea about oro attacking the village once again might be a good idea.
Don't mind him, he doubts everyone :P
But Oro attacking? That's so done already. Brainstorm! :heh:
But "Fishcake Ninja!" is a good title according to me. At the very least people will notice it.

Lol..."Fishcake Ninja!"...hmmm...It will definitly attract attention :D ...Still waiting for a possible better suggestion :P ...About the storyline...I'm really having trouble figuring something out :uhoh: ....any suggestion appreciated :D

But you could have it start ordinarily, and then it will draw you further away from Konoha. Perhaps an attack on Sand? A nice change of setting from forests to desert could be nice :P

srb - Yea, I'd be able to make the Kage Bunshin no jutsu ...but only with a limited number of clones of course :P ..(would need a powerfull computér to take a thousend clones) ....perhaps like max 10 clones or such. depending on how many you split up to you strength would be split as well. Your clones would be like men following you and doing your command.
Keep all the good ideas coming...I like it :D ...I'm like real bad at making up stories and names :( ...but then I have you guys :D

Are you planning on having the kids rise all the way up to jounin rank or would you take control of a real Jounin at this point?

But the reason I kept it open so long was because by the time I noticed it, it was too late. Too many interesting replies came out of it.

I watched the episode about the ranking system again, but I didn't come up with any name :( ....as for your question; yes, I was planning to make the player go up through all the ranks and make his character evolve from rank to rank (older and older), all the way up to Jounin ;) ...maybe even Hokage :hmm:

I still think "Fishcake Ninja!" is the best though.

Hmmm...I might go with "Tales Of The Shinobi" if nothing else comes up. This one gives an idea about that the story is going to be over a whole lifetime of a ninja.
