Ed eng voice=Vic Mignogna

i heard from fullmetal-alchemist.com that this person named vic mignogna is gonna do the voice for ed in the english dub. it says that one did some work with adv for rahxephon, noir, yu yu, and dbz. The only role it specifically says he did was broly in the dbz movie. i'm not familiar with him or know what else he's done

so if anyone has seen that dbz movie, is he a good VA?

I'v seen the movie with Brolly's voice, his voice is deep and menacing... not at all like Ed's voice *groan* They better do a good job.

i imdb-ed vic mignogna and he did other roles like in FMP! he did Sgt. Kurtz Weber for the eng dub. I've seen it, and i guess that kinda voice would fit Ed. it's not the greatest, but at least it's not the worst. it's not very deep, i don't remember.

oh, and RahXephon he did Mamoru, that friend of Ayato's.

that seems kinda like a voice for Ed... not the best, but not the worst either.

He also does the voice of Kougaiji. ^^ I actually have Saiyuki so I'm able to compare and it's not too bad as far as voices go. I think he could pull it off. Of course it won't be perfect, but it may be as close that it'll get.

I have not dared to watch the FUNi FMA trailer--but if it's Vic Mignogna... I might be more open-minded. As Arbalest pointed out, said voice-actor worked as Kurz Weber in FMP! and the coming FMP? F and I actually have nothing but compliments to Vic for capturing perfectly the light and flirtatious attitude of Kurz Weber. I am looking forward to Vic's interpretation of the Onsen episode in Fumoffu. Unfortunately I was forced to turn off the dub because of the the dub on Kaname--I'll get back to listening dubs in a few months...
