it probably belongs at their site, but i trust this board for a faster and better response :)

whenever i play a movie file .avi in bsplayer, sometimes that movie doesnt display correctly. All my anime plays fine on bsplayer, just some select American movies and such dont operate. The display is tinted green and staticky, the audio is fine. If you want a pic of it, i would post it. But wheneever i use divx player or WMP they play the .avi fine. Ive tried installing the new bsplayer, and older ones, still the same deal. Bsplayer never seemed to be perfect before, did i do something bad to it? should i redownload any codecs are such?

First of all, I'd suggest that you follow the instructions on our Media Configuration Guide so that we know if it might be a codec issue. Your problems sounds similar to a known issue cause by the Nimo codec pack, but let's simply things before we try to diagnose you.

Uninstall all your codecs. Trust me. All of them:
Uninstall DivX.
Uninstall XviD.
Uninstall ffdshow.
Especially uninstall any Codec packs, They are Evil!

Download and install ffdshow. You'll find it listed as [Level 1] on the Media Configuration Guide.

just try not using RGB, and use that YY12 or..whatever its called. Maybe that could be your problem

ahhh okay i got things moving again. I uninstalled all my codecs and installed the ffdshow. the installation didnt work all teh way for some reason so my prob was still there. I then looked into the bsplayer configuration and swtiched it to force RGB. things are going swell again thanks for the help
