Is there any group that will be working on Galaxy Angel: Season 4?
The new series airing on July 7th will be based on the manga/game storyline, and will actually have a coherent storyline.
Seeing as how it's following the game, it looks to be a Romance/Comedy.

Sigh, nevermind. Apparently the news was wrong and Season 4 will be a comedy like the previous years :P

Chitose Karasuma is a great character.
I'm still waiting for Eternal Lovers to be released so I can finish her story. I loved her story in Moonlit Lovers (and sad how it ended).
My only concern about Season 4 is whether or not Normad will return, because he doesn't exist in the manga/game universe :(
He is going to make return, as seen in all the picture of the official site.
I didn't know Galaxy Angel was based on a manga and game. I need to check those out :)

It wasn't. The game, anime and manga are all part of the Project GA thing. Kinda like hack.

The manga/game are part of the same universe. The manga came first, and the 3-part game series was based off the manga.
The anime is produced by a seperate company and is basically a spin-off, and is not considered to be the official storyline.
The real story is the manga/games.
Hopefully some group will pick up season 4, I loved what I've seen of the first three. Although since Bandai has seasons 1 and 2, it's probably a lock that they'll pick up 3 and 4 eventually anyway. Looking forward to seeing Chitose--I can't imagine GA with an actual plot, but I guess that's because all I've seen is the anime. Is the manga good? I read the sample first chapter online, but the artwork didn't impress me all that much...

Ya, the manga is good.
I like it more than the anime (though the anime is still good).
The games are much better than the manga/anime though, because the games focuses on all the characters, rather than just Milfeulle and Ranpha (so far anyways. Just read up to vol 2, and it goes all the way to vol 5). Chitose shows up in vol 5 though :)
The manga/games isn't as insane as the anime though. The characters in the anime are basically extreme versions of the manga/game characters personalities.
You also learn a lot more about the GA Universe and the character's past.
I really, really, hope that Broccoli bring the games over, though that might not happen. (the games are basically dating sims with some action/strategy elements), and we all know how well dating sims are viewed here :(
I guess nobody is going to sub the fourth season :(

<pure rampant speculation>Maybe AnimeHaven will pick it up, although they're on ep 42 of season 3, so I think they have 20 eps of that left before they'd get to season 4...</pure rampant speculation>
I've seen the first two R1 DVDs of season 1, all of season 2, and the first 42 eps of season 3--and I think they're all hilarious. I know it's a cop-out but I can't say I'd prefer one over the others. If I was stranded on an island with only one season of GA to watch, I'd probably laugh myself insane regardless of which one it was.
I'll have to check out the manga, though, it'd be interesting to learn more of the backstory, and I like the serious episodes of GA (rare as they are) too.
AnimeHaven has released episodes 43-46 not much ago, but not on bittorrent. You will have to look for them on IRC or other P2P applications.
It looks like their pace is getting faster so who knows... Maybe they could do season 4. Another possibility is that a newer group that didn't exist when the 3rd season came out, now go and tries with the 4th.
But that is very unlikely to happen since most people here don't like GA (I think that outside of Japan, nearly everyone hates this anime :( ).
I love it because it's hilarious. If Broccoli made a serious GA, it'd lose all the appeal for me.
Anyway, let's pray all together to see it fansubbed.
How can people hate this anime? its hillarious, sure some episodes are repetitive but that's expected after that many episodes.
Oh well I'm starting to cross my fingers ;)
My favourite episode so far would be either Mint being stuck in that cardboard on the top of the sinking island and the giant mecha parody in the second season.

I got it from the official page (http://www.tv-osaka.co.jp/galaxyangel_4th/main.html) at TV Osaka. The first 2 episodes will be aired today. That means that the series will have the same format as seasons 2 & 3:
2 short episodes = 1 25min episode.
If you look at the "next episode" section, the first and second episode titles are: "Himitsu" and "Naisho" (both mean "secret") :heh:
With 'naisyo' being female speech (don't say this word, boys).

GA 1 was good. GA 2 was better. GA 3 was a riot.... for the first 25 episodes. Now it has degenerated into:
(Uberleet Lost Tech is found) + (Mint, Ranpha and Forte go at each other's throats for it) + (Something bad happens and the 3 get their just desserts) Milfy and Vanilla sometimes gets dragged along.
They seem to be running out of ideas, honestly. I hope Season 4 will be better, now that Chitose is in it.

Also, is there a letter attached to this series too?
1st series was just Galaxy Angel
2nd = Galaxy Angel Z
3rd 1st part = Galaxy Angel A

This series doesn't seem too popular...unless you have already seen season 1~3, AH would probably pick it up, but they still have a couple more epsiode to go in Season 3, and who knows if they would do the unaired or even the christmas speical
I can't even seem to find the raws for season 4 yet...
I guess nobody will be subbing, shame really, I was looking forward one of the few worth while shows this season :(

Just watched the first episode of Season 4.
I hate how they completely changed Chitose.
They made her into a melodramatic, over-reactive girl whom doesn't join the Angel Troupe (she joins the other group with the two kids).
Originally, she's supposed to be a calm, serious, polite, mild-mannered, and old fashioned/traditional Japanese woman whom doesn't understand the outside world.
She was so sweet in Moonlit Lovers, now she's just annoying :(
A bit off topic, I just saw the torrent for GA s3 ep 47-48, maybe I'm missing something but I swear I never seen ep 43-46 torrents from AH. You guys know anything? ^^

Well they just released 47-48 on bitorrent so I have to say yes ;)

I think it's alright with the change, remember the anime series does not have to be similar to the games/manga, after all almost all the characters in GA:ML doesn't really correspond to the Anime, character wise (Vanilla talks alot, Forte isn't violent all the time, and so on...)
Besides, if they use the game's persona, it can't really be funny all the time for Chitose...and it does seem the next 2 epsiodes will also be linked somehow to the 2nd epsiode, so maybe they would change her back :heh:
besides, for Chitose
instead of "begging" to join the Angel-tai becuase of "sickness", she is supposed to enter becuase she has the highest score ever like in the game

Hmm, I get mixed feelings when I watch GA because it's neither good nor bad. It get's quite wacky and funny since they don't a cohernt story and it's bad because of that. It sort of reminds me of Azumanga Daioh.... Anyway, I found a site that had torrents for season 3 from 10-48 with some episodes missing, but the torrents are either dead or no body knows about them because I left it running for an hour and I couldn't connect to any peers or seeders. Putting that aside, I hope that someone does sub season 4 and I don't care how long it takes because I'm still trying to get the episodes for season 3.
