We request that animesuki not direct link to the torrents for Panda z and Transformers. You have direct links to the torrent files listed on your main page. Instead of doing that please use http://torrents.wpp-fansubs.com/ or http://torrents.tvnihon.com/ Thank you
<Edited because part of it was rude of me>
Perhaps the fact that there seems to be some illegal stuffs is the reason AnimeSuki is direct linking your torrent, unless of course the anime I'm thinking about isn't actually licensed in US, but I'm in doubt :D
First, I fixed the URLs for both WPP's and TV-Nihon's torrents. We were linking to
your tracker directly (as in site URL) while you had a redirect setup (which just looks
neater in the address bar of your browser).
Second, I've disabled the "Hotlinking" on your torrents. As Thany suspected, hotlinking
was enabled due to licensed material on your torrent website (Digimon, Sonic X etc).
But I guess in this case I can make an exception -- there are far "worse" sites out
there that have licensed anime than yours. Thus everything is now as you requested:
the links now point to http://torrents.wpp-fansubs.com/ on AnimeSuki

Thank you very much GDHpro.
I kinda disagree over the fact that you link to site with SonicX and Digimon anime (wich are very popular and easy to see on american/canadian TV) but that you dont link to website with serie such has Nadesico or Inuyasha wich end up being the same thing....
Of course im against linking to any of those site directly. Thats just my humble opinion.
Well yes, the inconsistancy of my decision has been pointed out to me by someone else as well,
so I won't do it again -- this was the first and last time I made an exception like this.
My reasoning for making the exception though is that while Sonic X and Digimon might be very
popular, the "audience" which finds these series popular is probably not the one who wants to
watch it original Japanese+subtitles (which I presume the WPP fansubs are), and those who
do want to watch fansubs in Japanese+subtitles have interests other than Digimon and Sonic X.
But in any case, in the future there are a few options:
- We continue to hotlink to sites with licensed anime
- The sites create a seperate page with only unlicensed anime
- We stop linking to their torrents completely

Option 1 and two are good but there is one big advantage with 1: You can easily guess the site's address and get access to all licensed animes, warez and what not (i.e. www.evilsite.com/torrents/Blabla.torrent --> www.evilsite.com/torrents/ to see all torrents)
This being said creating a seperate page with only unlicensed anime is better and is not really much work for the groups.
