Draw/ create your own Soul Calibur character. Any medium, and include weapons, a background, whatever you like.
It would be nice to make the character in a nice fighting stance.

I may or may not participate in this one..Main reason...Never Played Soul Caliber..i think i saw a commercial for SC2 for ps2 but it looked somewhat like Tekken :hmm:

Soul Calibur is an awesome game, it seemed like tekken to u cuz namco made soul calibur :D

soulcaliber is for the big three. the big catch was that each system got its own special character.

indeed, GC got link, X-Box got Spawn and PS2 got HeiHachi (or how you may spell it). I've played all of 'em, and I like the GC version the most. As for the assignment, I've got a drawing, but my scanner died :help:

If nightmare is the guy with the huge sword that has an eye in it, then thats what I was going for! Kind of a brother type thing, so to connect it a little better, I decided to draw a sketch in armor to make the connection :P

mmmmmk, here's my entry (tho i've only played soul calibre once at an arcade a while ago). took about 40 minutes to draw crappy sketch and make it look crappier in photoshop, and would have taken 30 more if i were to draw feet-looking feet ^_^

i know the sketch had a scroll sword but i found out when i was lining it in illustrator that the proportions was off so i instead of redoing it i just repleced it with another sword sorry i really like the scroll sword too:sad:

Wow. Very nice Asura, especially for a ten minute drawing. The chain doesn't bother me as much as the length of the upraised arm. It seems a bit long to me. Very nice though.

Also very nice, Kapao. My favorite is still Mundain's though. I like his style.

Not really a CG, it was impossible to CG, trying to make the lines o.O just looked weird, so I did some sort of abstract thing.. trying to get it darker then the original pencil, never done this style before, so its a test to :P

honestly, I dont want to spend the time I think it will take to CG that pic o.O im lazy, and its made up of mostly heavy lines and big shaded areas, I could CG it easy if the rezolution was high enough to do it all on the comp, but still im looking at a long time :P Howeever, tonite i may have spare time, and re draw the thing at a different angle, and I will make it good enough to CG :P

Hmm, as I'm disappearing for at least a year on the 16th, I'll extend my premature vote to Tzurial's munkee lady because... well... because i'ts a munkee lady. Kapao in a close second ^_^ mundian did nice coloring (kinda remnided me of uglypigs only less loose and w/ either spilt coffe splotches or cigarette burns). prettymuch everyone else did really good job too.

Ahhh man....if only i knew of this thread earlier. I just started to work on a cd cover i am going to do for a friend. And what i have planned so far would´ve fit perfect as a SC character :D ok...no matter what. i am gonna post it up when it´s done. By the way. Can anyone pm me a link to where you can see ancient wargears? i am trying to see what the old samurais had on them in battle. so far i only drawn the armour (thats quite a big hint on my char :D)
