Yeah, Buriguri are an excellent band though somewhat inactive. I remember Time magazine once called them one of the 10 best bands outside America. It now seems like ages since their last album, what with Tommy February6 side-projects and all. I wonder if they'll ever release anything new., I'm getting rather tired of tinny 80s tunes and Pokemon joke songs.

Yes to both questions. I have to say that I like Tommy's side projects as well as Buriguri stuff.

I don't know why, but everytime I hear the song 'There will be love there' I think of 90210. Remember that 90s melodrama? I sure do!

How can you forget 90210! It was the parent of so many cruddy take offs like the O.c. and alot of WB shows. I too used to watch it lol. Well anyhow back to topic this music reminds me alot of smashing pumpkins in some un explainable way:)

I'd heard of the Brilliant Green through Andrew Vestal's blog Yukihime (http://www.yukihime.com). He's a big fan of Kawase Tomoko's solo work and her work in Buriguri. Someone I knew had sent me "Rainy Days Never Stays" before, but now I have both of Tommy February6's albums, a Tommy Heavenly6 single, and two Buriguri albums (self-titled and "The Winter Album") plus some random Buriguri singles.

So yeah, they rock. And Tomoko is mad (http://www.zoemi.com/f-archive/images/featured-tommy.jpg) cute (http://www.vesta.dti.ne.jp/~ciloas/tommy/images/tommy_february6.jpeg).
