This is my first (and somehow, apparently the best) usage of the pen tool in Photoshop... took quite a lot of meddling around with. (I did it off and on over a few weeks - I certainly learned a lot from this picture!) It's been a WIP forever, because I just got too lazy. :)

Well actually it's because I suck at shading, and I had no idea how to properly shade a picture like that. Ehehe...

So I'd like to see how you guys shade this picture. ^-^;; That is if it's worth your time... (Feel free to edit the picture, I'm aware I made a little too many clothes creases, and the face, once you try to shade it, is DEFINITELY screwed up. The left side cheek are specifically. Trust me!)

Oh, by the way, there's supposed to be a wall in the bg. Or something he's got his arm on.

Nice colouring really, I like fenrihr's clothes fold colouring thingy, and squonjon has a pretty interesting style. Like some ads I've seen .:o

Well I did the shading for the face, arms and feet. It's a little odd.

Now I have to tackle the.... *collapses* shirt =_=

And Babak, I wanted to take Geography, but I always do better in Literature even though I didn't aim to do well in it. Fate has it I couldn't take Geography becuase there weren't enough classes....

EDIT: THe colours look a little weird. o_O His skin was a different looking colour in Photoshop I swear... or maybe my eyes are deteriorating. =_=

i got that problem w/ photoshop too, all the things i color turn out a darker color than what i colored them as... .. so i end up upping the brightness on some of them

wow that pic looks great and I thought it looked fine when I first saw it, but I guess I don't have that artist's eye and this is bothering me a little you keep calling the pic a him is it a guy? I thought it was a girl *runs away in fear of getting hurt
