Nice details on angel's gauntlet, and also what appears to be a mechanical section of the wing on her back looks close to Kalas wing from Baiten Kaitos, which makes it look cooler than a normal wing!

The reason why it looks odd, is not because of the boots, it because this big muscley warrior guy, has itty bitty girly feet. Just make his feet fit his size, and it will look fine.
Also, the angel is alittle anorexic looking.

Those are just a few tips. I love your work, I'll be checking back for more! :)

shorten the legs. it helps of you memorize some anatomy cheats. entire leg is about 4 heads long. arms with hands are 3.5 heads, feet are 1 head, torso is about 2.5 heads... mm yeah. i hope that helped.

and that curve on the guys torso, its freakin me out bc girls usually have that kind of curve. and if you look closely, his arm is just ast thick as his midsection.

but yeah it looks good. just fix the legs and you're done
