The Gunslinger Girls OP is on their "Hate" album, and you can order from Amazon and a number of other internet sites!

I've just orderd mine and can't wait! What a great song....

Do they even know that "Gunslinger Girls" is helping their CD sales? :)

Sometimes the anime creator just used it cus they're fan of the band; the band itself may not know anything about anime. The CD is almost an year old... so if the sales suddenly spikes I hope they realized what's going on.. especially from the US since I doubt they know about fansubs.

Any anime show is going to be talking to an artist to get their permission to use a song in their show. They're going to explain what it's going to be used for. Obviously it's a given that this happened as well with Gunslinger Girls. Your reasoning is quite illogical.
