View Full Version : If you could make an Anime what would it be.
If you had all the assets to produce your own anime what would it be? Mine personally would be something based in the future. Although there are alot of future ploted0 animes already out. Probably have some machines something like Matrix though not really and have like a group of elite warriors from every country in the world on the same side. Pitted against the domination machines which are robotic ninjas trying to return to the past. To undo history and bring mankind to its knees. Well Im working on a comic book maybe one day this idea will be published though I got a million ideas. My furture goals are to create my own comic book/work for DC Comics or Marvel, then make my own animation then maybe movie who knows :). What about you guys what would your anime be like if you could create one?

well, i guess mine would be a 500+ episode anime with absolutely no storyline filled with non-stop random killing and acts of canablism. It would rock. there would be pirates, zombies, and demons in every episode and all episodes must contain at least 25 confirmed kills, at least 1 decapitation, and at least 5 minutes of mutalated corpse scenes.
well, i guess mine would be a 500+ episode anime with absolutely no storyline filled with non-stop random killing and acts of canablism. I'll be unoriginal and make a story like High Sierra.
A demon Prince kicks so much ass killing every angel in sight. Finds some rejected blind angel and falls in love with her. Then because of his dumbass decision of falling in love, gets his ass handed to him because now he's vurnable. All in the while having the blind chick get kidnapped and raped. He then goes insane and starts killing everything in sight.
Then Jesus comes down and tries to stop him, the demon Prince then goes off and kicks jesus's ass and dies.
My Signature would make a kick ass anime too.

Me and a friend have been brainstorming about our own manga... I was really motivated to draw it yesterday (still am), i'm okay at drawing but not great. But i supose i could improve.
Basically it would mix elements from my favourite anime (FMA, Naruto, Samurai 7 and One Piece) but have it own story... so far we got the idea that there are some who can control the spirit energy fully and can use it to create things such as flame, water and even some material things (Naruto/FMA), although this is extremely rare, and is said to be legends from the great war which ended 200 years before.
There is a great evil which has taken over the North, no one knows what this evil is, but it is said that sometimes the demons come and destory villages, which no one has ever survived. There is a young kid (not thought of a name), who's village is attacked, and see's his mother killed before him by the demons from the North, he suddenly uses his Spirit energy to kill that demon and then goes and kills the remaining demons who are terrorising his home (little bit of "one piece" here), unfortunatly he is the only one remaining alive.
Then he goes on his mission to train his Spirit and to stop the Evil that terrorises the South Islands, meeting warriors on the way (same age) who have this ability to control their spirit and they join him on his journey (one piece, samurai 7).
We came up the theory behind the Spirit energy. You can't just use anything with your spirit energy, the paths you choose in battle and the way you use your spirit shapes and molds your spirit giving you abilitys to use it in different ways unique and different from the next person. As time goes on your spirit becomes stronger and molds into what you have chosen it to mold into based on what you have chosen, and can also become dark or light (see, they demons have dark spirits).
I dont know if its a little generic or not, but it would be fun to draw my own comic/manga... i'm not to good at drawing and i couldn't crap out 18 something pages a week haha, more like 1/2.
Sounds cool man all you need for a good anime is....BOOBS BOOBS AND UM MORE BOOBS. Look at all the great animes got chicks with big boobies. Guess since no one like flat chested chicks.

Done in the most realistic style possible(we're talking Shirow style,at the very least).No boobs except on the SoBs,oceans of gore,relgious fanaticism to the extreme.Basically everything the universe is about.In fact there's a small effort going on at Portent right now,so I'm not too far off ;)

No ninja or cyborgs? What's up with that? Maybe the mutalated corpse could be brought back to life as a giant ninja zombie cyborg :heh: .
Anyway, I have 2 ideas for my own manga, but i suck at drawing, so don't count on seeing them ever.
The first is a space opera, kind of like crest of the stars. I was going to go into detail, but it was going on way to long, so I'll just say humanity is divided into 5 interstellar nations. There are also 2 known alien races, which are on mostly peaceful terms with all 5 human nations. However, when tensions between 2 of the smaller human nations erupt into open conflict, the other 3 and the 2 alien races are all drawn in through treaty obligations.
The second, a girl finds out she's really half demon. She then gets sucked into the war between heaven and hell, trying to prevent the earth from becoming the next battleground. I've actually developed a lot of the plot for this one, and have a good idea about where I want to go with it.
I couldn't come up with an original idea on my own, ^^ but I would really like to animate The Wheel of Time series or the Forgotten Realms series.

But seriously, I actually have looked into making an animated film based off... I dunno, probably the very end of the comic (whenever that may be.. seems like an appropriate part to animate) I've already looked into some of the easier aspects, like picking a themesong ("Just Crazy Love" by Fleetwood Mac), incidental music (Beach Boys "Pet Sounds"album backing track, most likely... anyone who's heard it would probably agree that the backing tracks would make for great incidental music), and I've already got a couple friends who can (dunno about willing, gonna have to break a few spirits in the next couple years >;D) do voice acting and in-between animation work.
Of course, it'd probably end up looking more like an american indie animation than an anime (at least in animation style, the drawing style will still be very much anime... assuming my drawing style is still very much anime by the time I get around to this ;v)

very true, i cannot forget ninjas and killer robots. oh, and while we are at it, there shall also be clowns and dragons in each episode as well. the more I think about this, the cooler it gets...

An anime about billiards done shounen sports anime-style.
It's gonna be hilarious.
I can devise some crazy 'special moves' that is still 'possible' in real life, unlike those impossible moves in other sports anime. And it would still look cool.
Yea, and the protagonist's father is like the GOD of billiards that no one knew. Ring a bell?
a high school drama/comedy/action where an entire town/country is one big fighting ground. Sort of like Tenjou Tenge or Real Bout on a larger scale (think the fight-festival episode of Mahoromatic with real swords, guns, and unique super powers)
the adults try to stop the kids from fighting, but since the kids have powers such as flame manipulation, giant sword summoning, and weapon resonance (think the angel-thingy from Narutaru mixed with Chise from Saikano)
The only adult that seems to have powers like the kids' is a 32 year old high school english teacher (his power? he's a human lightning rod) who's all angry at one girl because she killed his family (and about a thousand other people) when she blew up Shinjuku.

If I were to make an anime , it would be like anime about TV derectors gettting frustrated at the actors every other minute seemingly. Yes, it is a comedy.
Either that it would be one of the first gangsta shows to be an anime. It would be about a ma for the 18th century comes to the 21st century. Too bad the guy's a pimp, so h doesn't care as log as he has his jumpin' stagecoach. He would speak random Engrish :not English: and try to hit on floozies.
And no people, I do not take crack to come up with freaky ideas.

I'm actually writing a series of books I'm hoping to have turned into an anime some day. It's set in a parallel universe with much greater technology in the year 2000. There are humans who essentially can use super powers. America is fascist and waging (and winning) a war on the rest of the world, and the main characters are super powered guerilla rebel terrorists within the states. That's how it starts off, but it winds and changes into something totally different more than once before the end. The concept sounds tired, but really it's character based, the plot isn't so relevant. It's kinda Naruto-ish in the sense that there are scads of characters (over 65) and they all have bizare and unique fighting styles, and I feel that's cool too. And it has a lot of strong themes and there are a lot of other little things that make it great too.
Hopefully you'll all see it yourselves some day.
I can't really come up with an original idea. I'd probably get the rights to Footfall by Larry Niven & Jerry Pournelle or do multiple series based on the Discworld books by Terry Pratchett.

If I was to make my own anime, I'd probubly base it off one of my books I've written. Probubly one of the novels. Why? Very simple. I know the story, the charecters, their personalities, and everything well enough that jumping into production would be very easy at that point. :)
In fact, I might just offer one of my new novels to an anime company to make into an anime anyways. :D Speaking of which, keep an eye pealed on amazon around the 1st of the year. I've got a book that's going to be hitting store shelves about then. :D

Anyway...
I'd like to make a series called "101 Ways to get away with Murder" and just to keep the idea interesting it would only be 100 episodes long. Each episode would be an episodic story of a character getting away with murder in a new and imaginative manor (new characters each episode, naturally). Naturally this show could never be seen by children, convicts, anyone in a religion or mentally unbalanced individuals for it would be as graphic as the Surgery Channel and would be chalk full of little details (gore, think lots of gore). At the end of every episode is would do the Kero's Corner thing and go over the methods, steps and highlights of that show's murder and would maybe include a bit of after story about what happened to or where the perp. went after the crime. :D
If that doesn't pan out, I could aways try for a Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou TV series. :heh:
I started a manga, but I never have time to finish it ;; it was ugly drawed anyhow.
It is called 'Sana Cho' it's about a girl called Sana Cho and she has to protect her school from demons. her hair pins are swords when she pulls em out. stupid huh?
The four main characters from my manga are: Sana Cho, Kani Jaganshi, Jiro Nagahashi and Yashi Mishiga. I should really finish it.... :uhoh:

If I could make an anime it would be violent... very violent. Lots of blood and senseless killing. It would also involve robots revolting for some reason or the other, and maybe even focus on a robot that has the looks of a robot, but bleeds and has real emotions. Then back to the senseless killing.
Another idea would be making an anime version of Priest (the korean manga), that would be awesome.
No matter what subject I would pick, the anime would HAVE to be violent enough to play some good metalcore (converge, Zao, etc.) in the background of fight scenes. That and just other music I like so it would be extremely personalized.

Then his replies would be rather rude or just plain wrong to the complainer,.. if they ever do get replied to. And as he is the only one working at the complaints department, most of the complaints are never directly forwarded to the management.
As an example, hand written complaints are usually later forwarded to the restroom department. But the management finds this as a good thing in not only dodging complaints to make their own work easier, but to also cut cost on the ever growing cost of ass wipe. That, and the management and other employees would seem to appear quite refreshed afterwards...

A underdog story with well corrdinated fights like naruto with a good story like full metal alchemist.
What would it be about?
I have no idea but it would probably be a mixture of unlikely killer combos and fireballs from dragon ball but follows the law of death so characters will die. So there will be lots of fights with dodges, counters and blocks since a wrong move can mean instant death. Death to lovable characters will happen since it adds a great effect to the anime and makes it much more serious. I always liked rooting for the underdogs so my anime would definately star a weakling character but has the potential to unleash some serious butt whooping when his (male main character) friends are on the line. Kind of like naruto with his nine tails. And theres a girl that falls for this unlikely hero but does not admit it and keeps it a secret.
I'd make a manga first.
Irreverant rehash of the Bible, and assorted other religious texts.
Super long fantasy epic, where the main character gets killed off in the middle, and the rest have to continue on without him.
Romantic short about a musician.
And a few other things I've had cool ideas for, but don't really have a story to go along with them.

hm.... for me, it would be action / fantasy like, something like shaman king and final fantasy! <<Shounen>>[SK FF CROSSOVER XD]
Anyway...
It would be like an RPG, where the main character trains himself to become strong, and he needs to go to school to do that[HARRY POTTER!! XD] And one day, he would be sent to go to an alternate world to fight. There would be monsters, magic, and a certain mean and cold girl there waiting for him! You're right!! The main girl character!! She would not be those really cluzy guy loving types. She would be one of those really mean, cold, strict types, like Kyouyama Anna!! And then one day, the main guy character finds out that he can't return to his world and so, he has to find a way to cope with the world he is in! er... this is starting to sound like .Hack//SIGN...^^;;
No chibis and heart shaped eyes in my anime!!

I'd like to see Stephen King's Gunslinger Epic as an Anime :)
The Story is really great and long(If Im not mistaken the Epic spans 7 volumes). King was asked if he would make it into a movie and he said probably no because of the length. He said if it were adapted it would have to be some mini series on a channel like HBO. Even then the cool effects would be slashed because of a budget. I think it would be nice as an anime.

My anime would be about a Japanese student who came back from his studies in America(apparently it was due to his parents wanting him to have a good way of learning that will benifit him) and he studies at one of the few "public" High school(I remember watching a documentry on overview of Japanese high schools, and some doesnt require a uniform, he is in one of those) He learned much about hip hop and decided that he will become a famous rapper like his Idol Eminem. But sometimes he picks the wrong fights(He made a diss about guys who do crazy things to get some from girls) and get into trouble but thankfully he know how lay the beatdown at times using innovative methods. He later starts a small group known as T-12 a group of fellow rappers who wants hip hop to really put a place on Japanese music.

anyway, i actually have two anime script i'm planning to write, both feature stories from the animal world, i would tell you more but i'm really paranoid about ideas theft...
i'm also planning an adaptation to "a song of ice and fire" book series by George R. R. Martin in the future when the series is complete (around 2015 I assume)
