It's Bonta-kun. Chidori has a stuffed animal of him from when she was a baby. Apparently it is supposed to be some big-name celebrity cartoon (like Mickey Mouse), cuz there were guys dressed as Bonta-kun at the Amusement Park (which is were Souske got the shell for his new mecha).

chidori has a date and sasuke wants to follow her, but he should not b seen. so he takes one of these costumes and walks around in it. de defeats some guys who try to bully chidori and her date at the amusement park, thats basically it.
later he fixes bonta kun a bit, with technical stuff. appears in many eps (all?). i think it is a bit too much of pokemon, cuz that he can just say "fumoffu" seems childish. when he tries to activate his real voice, so he can speak freely bonta kun crashes. ok a lot makes no sence in this serie but this ..... well.... :bash: but it s quiet funny some times

youko, you should watch each episode from the start - and if you can, watch the whole series and full metal panic! before fumoffu; not just shots here and there. I'm sure you'll understand what's going on.

BME: that gif of bonta kun stomping on the balls is damn funny! how do you get that from a video?

does the fact that the bonta-kun doll has a scar on the left side of its face, exactly the same as the main character tell you who it is?? or do i have to spell it out
