Was watching Da Capo, then noticed there's a huge pink teddy bear in the backgrounds of nearly all the episodes. Then i remembered in Infinite Ryvius where there's this girl in a dinosaur suit in the background of a lot of episodes too. Anyone else find anything generally strange in anime backgrounds?

Kinda reminds me of that weird cat that always popped up out of nowhere in trigun.

And I refer you to this thread: http://forums.animesuki.com/showthread.php?p=28449&highlight=Izumiko#post28449

You mean kigurumi-chan? That was a sort of gag that the makers of Ryvius put into the storyline (much like the naked guy - his idea was from a Japanese reality show) where at the beginning during all the ruckus, she loses her costume parts. So, as the story progresses, she is on her own adventure to find her lost dino-parts. There is even a drama CD about one of her adventures.

Kuroneko-sama's actual name is Josephine (her name was finally revealed in the pamphlet included with Volume 13 of the LaserDisc) and was voiced by Yukino Satsuki (you might know her as Chidori Kaname in "Full Metal Panic" and Sumiregawa Nenene in "R.O.D the TV").

From the arc that I played in DCPC, Murasaki Izumiko's is quite interesting, especially getting through the giant, pink bear part :)

Hehe these gag characters are really fun and interesting, especially the ones in Infinite Ryvius because the series was pretty serious. I can't get out of my head the scene where kigurumi-chan says something like "noo my body!" and jumps out picks up her dinosaur arm(?) then gets shot by glue. Guess there must be lots of fans for a drama cd adventure to be out :twitch: .
