I remember more than a year ago, in another forum, someone posted a sound clip(with translations) from a japanese talk show about the reason why there won't be a Vandread 3 (and Berserk) anime.
It was because Berserk was too violent for a TV show(even for a late show) and a number of japanese adults (albeit yuri haters :heh: ) was not akin to seeing girl to girl relationship and marriages as shown in the Vandread anime.

Well, t'was just a talk show and might not hold water. But it has been years and still no new Vandread and Berserk animes, only rumors.
