Really? I thought it was hilarious. It was probably "not enough" as to the development of Chidori-Sousuke; but I thought it was pretty damn funny. Did you watch the final picture shown after the credits roll? I was laughing my ass off.

Just for the record, there isn't supposed to be a real ending. The whole season 2 is merely sidestories to season 1. When watching this you need to consider that these are simply funny stories that happen concurrently with the plot in season 1. With that in mind, there is no way that Fumoffu could have it's own conclusion. It doesn't even have it's own plot!

that makes alot of sense.

And yeah, the spotlight scene where Souske calls for back up did make me laugh a bit and forget the anger

BUT- How was I to know Fumoffu was just side stories? I figured it's like a season 2. I was assuming after Full Metal Panic Souske get's to stay by Chidori's side and this is what happens?

I dunno- but yeah i was looking for more developement between Chidori and Souske too. Episode 14 Had ALOT more. I think that should have been the final episode, episode 14 was so pretty........ahhhhh. :heh: whoa whoa what am I saying.

I think Fumoffu is supposed to happen in between the events in FMP... so the story in FMP will be continued in the second raid I guess ;)

yeah look's like it, guess we'll just be all glum. lol.

all in all though I lov'd fumoffu. It's just one of those series that you like so much you wanted MORE.

And episode 15, *sigh* i had every event in there predicted from the start. For example
Obvouisly everone wasn't going to die, and obvouisly Sagar was going to overexagerate the fatalness of the bio weopon hence a great laugh in the end. After the vaccine broke, and everyone ran out- i assumed the weopon was either a dud, or something pointless. Then when Sagara explains/learns what the weopon does, who didn't know he'd have an angry mob after him?

meh, Fumoffu was so pretty i think it needed like 20 more episodes. Really really funny, I think i liked it better than Panic for the simple fact that I'm not big on mech series in the first place(but FMP did open my eyes/ creak the door open for other mech series), and two- I'm too much of a highschool/romance/comedy warm fuzzy feeling hog.

I started watching Naruto and it's lead to "I want more developement between Chidori and Sagara!" so that's pretty funny and cool.

Either way before I start babbling, EP 15 was predictable and Ep. 14 was also predictable(Chidori to be the 1 girl to save his day duuuh but ep 14 pwnd!.

Thank you goodbye. I'm going to go post about the OST now cuz that pwn3d silly too.

It's a good point. It wasn't made clear by anything in the show that it rewound time to the beginning of season. Only readers of the manga or fans who hear about the show from outside sources really know this.

It's a shame that it isn't made clearer.

It's a shame that it isn't made clearer. Actually, the ending of Fumoffu made me happy. It screamed "SEASON THREE COMING SOMETIME!!!" (and sure enough, our prayers have been answered, since a season 3 has been recently announced). Besides, it would have been too anticlimatic to end the series so fuzzily and nonchalantly instead of on the flaming battlefield like season one (As Gatoh imagined it). I agree that it ended so abruptly, but I consoled myself easily with the thoughts of further Sagara-Chidori action next season !!! :D :D :D :D Readers of the manga (the English one atleast) know that Fumoffu and Season 1 episodes run side-by-side in the manga series. The Danaan is undergoing repairs in Fumoffu, probably from the extensive damage caused by Gaul Never fear, however, hopefully we'll see a resolution in the next season!

I hope the next season can be a good mix of comedy and action... at least I hope they can mix the comedy and action better than season one... my next wish is for Sagara to be blown into small pieces and Kurz taking the lead... although I guess that won't happen until the end of time :heh:

and since I just feel picky at the time, I think anticlimatic means something against the weather, while anticlimactic means something falls short of a climax... :p :D :naughty: :bash:

yeah

it really seemed that Full Metal Panic and Fumoffu where on two polar opposites.

Me personally I liked Fumoffu.

Season 3, hmm, hope it's a great blend of both to keep everyone happy. And the ending didn't scream "SEASON 3" for me, infact my ending didn't talk I don't know about yours.

But I'm glad to read here that there will be a Season 3- but like everyone else i'm still asking

"when the hells can I expect subs?"

"when the hells can I expect subs?"
Well, I'm pretty sure that the answer is:
Sometime after they actually air the episodes!!!!!

So please don't nag anyone until then. Heck, we don't even have an air date yet!

When they start airing sometime in early or spring of 2005.

WARNING SPOILER:FMP ENDING WAS GAY BECAUSE AT THE END THEY WENT FISHING AND THATS IT, nothing happened at all, I think the most romantic or close they got was when chidori had that komono or when they were about to kiss in FMP

But there is going to be a FPM season 2 or whatever I am so happy

:P

First of all I don' think there will be a season 3 because most anime that have "The End" means that its over. And I hated the FMP F ending but if you watched FMP That ending was gay too.

Do you know WHY FMP ENDING WAS GAY BECAUSE AT THE END THEY WENT FISHING AND THATS IT, nothing happened at all, I think the most romantic or close they got was when chidori had that komono or when they were about to kiss in FMP
That's because the ending to FMP wasn't the real ending. The TV series stopped partway through the manga. The hope is that FMP 3 will conclude the manga story and we'll get to see the true ending.

Meh, I liked the last episode of Fumoffu. While it wasn't any ending of any kind, they saved the best, biggest, and most hilarious event for last which to me is some sort of ending to the wacky side of fmp.

First of all, please do not make judgments that "there won't be a season 3," when it has already been officially announced on Mr. Shoji Gatoh's website, several Japanese anime magazines, the fan site fullmeta.com, and Kyoto Animation that "Full Metal Panic - the second raid" is in pre-production phase.

No, it was not "THE END," once again you are making presumptions... FMP is based on a novel and the first season on "Full Metal Panic!" by GONZO only covered up to "FMP! Vol. 3 Yureru Into The Blue." There are more novels that follow that, and it is likely that "FMP! TSR" will cover the "FMP! Vol. 4 Owaru Day by Day Part I," "FMP! Vol. 5 Owaru Day by Day Part II," and perhaps even to "FMP! Vol. 6 Odoru Very Merry Christmas."

The so-called second season, "Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu" was based on the FMP! short stories. Not all stories were covered (such as Jindai high schoolers doing the "Cinderella" play) in "FMP?F," so I expect some of these short stories to appear as a filler for "FMP! TSR"

well then sorry

Now im quite happy b/c they coming out wit more but sad b/c I was cut but more happy, and i like coming to conclusions b/c most anime that have the end means the end and i also PUT "THINK" meaning I think but might be wrong

It isn't that bad, was quite funny =P
Thus it really isn't an ending in the first place...

in a way the ending was a blessing in disguise, while I was hoping for character development, the open ends hint at more FMP to come...and then we got TSR :D

After the last ep, I remember I was confused whether they were really going to have sex or not...or if it was just another mix-up thing.

But isn't it Fumoffu just focus on the school life? So basically, it just an add on to the Full Metal Panic series. Im guessing the creators want to see how Sosuke and Kaname survive their everyday school life in some way.
