Tonight at 9 PM Eastern (8 central, 6 pacific), the director of programming for Anime Network, Chris Nelson, is doing a live chat with Anime News Network (they're relaunching their chat feature.) Lots of you guys have Anime Network questions, so they asked me to make sure you all knew about it. ^_^

Anyway, hope to see some of you there.

I say I'll 'listen in on the discussion' because I'm far to cheap to buy the digital reciever, pay the $120+ monthly cable bill, pay the monthly subscription fees and then pay the pay-per-view fees to watch anime I already own. ^^:

I can't legitimately comment on the service since I do not use it. ^^:

I think Jerry Chu's channel topic says it best: Nothing is official, everything will be denied!Actually, a 24-hour linear broadcast version of The Anime Network is already available--on digital cable and dub-only.

Yeah, even in places that don't have the linear channel yet, it's "on demand", not pay per view; if you've got it, you don't have to pay to watch it.
