This is what i have, you guys can reccomend stuff.

Done with
Waitin a week for every episode
Still haven't seen

Boys Be
Chobits - Like it, only like 3-4 episodes left for me.
Cowboy Beebop Movie - seen it a few times, good.
Full Metal Alchemist - Got like 1-44, still have a good 40 to watch.
Full Metal Panic - Liked it alot
Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu - love it alot
Girls Bravo - Just 3 episodes so far, it was fine.
Great Teacher Onizuka - stopped at 13. It had its funny parts.
Hani Yori Dango - got 51 episodes. Since it's old the quality is pretty bad.
Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien - Loved it, really got me into drharma anime.
Love Hina - Wow wow, yeah
Madlax - Seen the first 3, looked good.
Monster - Currently watching this one.
Naruto - Currently following this one.
Samurai 7 - I stopped after like episode 2 or 3. Too slow,
Samurai Champloo - Currently spotting this too, making my way to episode 9.
Samurai Girl/Realbout Highschool
Scrapped Princess - 24 new episodes, i'm letting it sit there since I have them all.
Tenjou Tenge - Keeping up with this too.

So in the end, I do have shows to catch up on, but that's only because I make it a goal to always be downloading something. I guess I'm paranoid that Im actually running out of stuff to get. Seems to be, I'll be just tracking/waiting for 1 episode every week for alot of shows sooner or later. That is going to imensly suck.
But if you need to know my tastes, I'll describe my faves.

Naruto- for the obvouis reasons. Beutifull
Love Hina- LMAO, funny, and good with the emotions.
Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu- my little Love Hina. Bigger on the comedy but payed for it when it came to the romantic side of things.

Champloo & Tenjou Tenge are also getting my look especially Tenjou Tenge, all that deep plot is surprising me.

Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien and Boys Be really satisfied me in the dhrama department. I always keep looking for more like them,.

So, sorry if it's a bit much but if there's anyone that gets pride or pleasure in really looking at these questions, Now you have alot to work with. By the way that list is shy of 2 series that I really have no interest for, but it is my small little anime collection.

I would also like to inquire to all the veteran anime watchers, does this happen eventually? You've seen all there is to see so the best you can do is track 10 on going series?

At my current rate I try to fit in like 4-5 episodes of anime every day. If I get lucky I'd go 5-6 hours in one day, but through searching for more anime and aim, I don't get time to do so.

thank yas.

hehe well I've been an anime fan for 3 years now and I've seen about all "good animes" out there. And yes :E rewatching has become one of my occupations atm ;x. And I'm following quite alot of series as well :>.

But erm I'd recommend

Cowboy bebop the series If you like the movie you'll LOVE the series, imo the one of the best series out there. Music is classic and the story is just too good in some parts I'm sure you'll like it ;x.

Saikano This series is depressing, REALLY depressing, especially the famous episode 9 it's horrible to see ;<. If you liked knge you'll like saikano.

Berserk The series with my favorite main character : Gattsu. The story starts and end abit abrupt and you should really read the manga, but the series alone is REALLY REALLY good. Gattsu is just so ultimate bad ass, you won't know what you see :D.

Jungle wa itsumo Hare nochi Guu This series makes me laugh still thinking of it, this series is just TOO hilarious. You'll cry your eyes out, it's so funny :)).

PlanetES I've you're looking for a series with character development this series if your "man" so to speak. This series is so, so good. It's difficult to describe what happens, but the later episodes get dramatic, and some really bad things happen to the main character. It's a really good series and I can't really compare it to something :))

Infinite Ryvius The series with my second favourite character, but only for his voice. Ikumi. This series is well a bit of action but alot of character development. But later on the series get quite dramatic and the voice acting of Ikumi is just too freaking good. It's really scary how much emotions you hear in his japanese voice, really impresive voice acting. And the series is quite good as well ;x

There are A hell lot of more animes I could recommend just give me a private message or such and I can give you a few titles ;x

Seeing as you like Boys Be and KGNE it's safe to say you'll like Da Capo and Kanon as well, both of these are romance drama stories. Da Capo has a calm and funny start and turns dead-serious midway through the show, while Kanon has quite a few depressing moments but you'll love it :)

Allready recommended but SaishuuHeiki kanojo (Saikano) has got to be one of the most emotional anime's I've seen up to date. Very depressing and very beautiful, I think anyone should be obliged to see it :)

If you like Chobits, then try DearS : I've seen only the first few episodes so far (I have to catch up) but DearS is just like Chobits but a little less accented on the romance and a bit more ecchi :D

Other great samurai shows are Peace Maker Kurogane, Rurouni Kenshin and Shura no Toki, although I cannot understand you don't like samurai 7, for me (and i absolutely love samurai stuff) this is one of the best shows ever :) . Also if you like Kenshin, don't forget about the Rurouni Kenshin OVA :Remniscence : That has magnificent art, a tragic/dramatic story, lotsa samurai action, romance, basically it's the greatest ova ever :heh:

Let's see : Tenjou Tenge is alot like Ikkitousen : although TT is better than Ikkitousen, I really liked it, Ikkitousen's story is a bit unclear at times though, warning it is VERY ecchi.

An anime alot like Madlax is Noir : I believe it was made by the same studio and sure has the exact same feeling about it.

Yup, if you like the Cowboy Bebop movie then check out the Cowboy Bebop series too, it's very cool, not to mention it has some great music in there.

Full Metal Panic is a hard to beat anime but I recommend the following adventure type anime which I place under the same category : Chrno Crusade : A demon hunting anime, It took me 5 minutes to get addicted to it, Scrapped princess :If you haven't seen it yet, do it NOW :heh: the story rocks :) , Stellvia of the Universe:One of my favorites, a very positive oriented space anime, where we aren't dealing with intergalactic wars for a change but other life threathening situations that really do unite humanity. And of course there is always Full Metal Alchemist which is another title that I really enjoyed. Read or Die TV is also worthy of your time, with a nice story and some awesome characters (especially the blonde, she seemed to be on dope the entire show :p ), you might even find the scene where GDHpro's avatar comes from :p

If you like Naruto you should give GetBackers a try, it's extremely funny and has some kickass good action in it. Or Tokyo Underground : a decent title(although it lost itself somewhere in the middle).

PS Some random anime titles you can try out, I feel I need to promote them since no one ever mentions these :)
Asagiri no Miko funny, almost feels like a parody at times (especially when they are making up names for their special moves :heh: )
To Heart : Slice-of-life , very calm and relaxing schoolkids anime, a refreshing change from the usual stuff
Piano : Another slice-of-life, while nothing really happens, it was extremely addictive :p
Bottle fairy :Argh overload of utter cuteness :heh:

dude to you, but I don't want someone telling me

"very very very depressing in especially episode 9" like wtf dude, why are you going to tell me that. Now i'll be watching episode 9 going, ok who's going to die, or what's going to happen.

Shock value gone, I half know what will happen. and if there's a set up for tragedy say in episode 8, I know the outcome.

I mean- in the end, all of your summaries were fine n dandy but you don't think you said too much(if not a bit too much) in you summary for Saikano?

And Planet ES was gravy. I'll nitpick about "some really really bad things happen to the main charactar." Coulda just stuck with good emotinal sad parts or something vaugue. And telling me even that it's to the main charactar.

I dunno- that's just how I feel. I can't enjoy an anime as much if I can reason my way to what happens. And from atleast Saikano I can easily reason my way to what happens.

dude seriously, maybe not a big deal to you but some people prefer to, FIND STUFF OUT ON THEIR OWN.

honestly i canceled the download and I'm not as psyched about it now thanks to the crap you hinted.

Narutohead, yeah I know i have got several animes spoiled for me to, so I couldn't watch them, kinda sucky ...

On Topic now.
I highly recommend

Hajime no Ippo: I tell ya, it's_THE_best anime I have ever seen, it combines the best from pretty much everything, The story is about a kid that's being bullied at school, then one day when he is being harrassed by some youths under a bridge the Japan Worldchampion Heavyweight championboxer comes to save him. He gets so inspired by the boxers speed and reflexes that he decides to begin to box. And that's the way it goes, you have to watch it and be amazed...

speakin of having anime spoiled by un curteous and hell destined people- :)

someone spoiled Neon Evangellion for me. !!! That's the ultimat of low, and the spoiler was all out in broad daylight too, and pretty damn big.

I mean Neon Sereies Evangellion is like said to be the best if not one of the best anime ever- so now I can't watch it.

:sad:If you're not going to watch Neon Genesis Evangelion because someone might have spoiled an episode or part of the plot, you're a fool. I'd even say you're a fool for not watching Saikano because someone said episode 9 was depressing... but since you're not going to watch Saikano, I'll tell you now. It's a tragic romance, every episode is depressing. -.-

Given some of the things you've called spoilers in this thread I'm suprised you've managed to watch any anime what so ever.

It looks like you haven't watched other two excellent animes yet:

Hunter X Hunter, Shonen anime like Naruto but in my opinion the fights are much better, and the story line is deeper. Give it a try, and if you had already give it a try again, don't be deluded by its slow start.

Future boy conan: And adventure series, full of action, comedy and a little bit of drama. It is 26 episodes long and all I can say is that every single episode is very good. This anime is so good that it is #3 (along with cow boy bepbop) in my top 10 anime list of all time. The creator of the series is the god father of anime, Hayao Miyazaki, creator of Laputa, princess mononokie, My neighbor Totoro, and much more.

Give me one reason why you can't watch it because of a spoiler? Sure it suxx being spoiled but there is so much stuff going on in evangelion that one spoiler can't completely ruin the show. besides you're missing out on one of the most amazing anime characters ever - > Rei Ayanami (Note: I hope this wasn't a spoiler)

Check out Ninku... someone just started fansubbing the show.... it's an alright action/super powers show... and if you want to watch something completely different from all the stuff you usually watch... then watch Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou...

Good lisenced stuff:

Wolfs Rain: Really good show with reallly good art, its about Wolves looking for paradise.

Sryed: Anime about some guy on an island with powers. (Its pretty difficult summarizing a serie without a spoiler in your way of thinking)

Yu Yu Hakusho: Same guy that made Hunter X Hunter, its pretty intertaining. I cant really say what its about because it would spoil about 0.000001% of the first 8 episodes story.

Last Exile: Might not be what you like, still a beautilful anime serie.

Midori no Hibi: Really funny, cant tell what its about because it would spoil the first half of the first episode.

Hunter x Hunter: Well someone probably explained about it somewhere in this thread.

Hellsing: Pretty decent serie, I dont think it would be too bloody for your taste. About a guy named Alucard killing vampires.

Record of Lodoss War: Both of the serie are pretty decent and are the representative of fantasy anime genre.

Thats all liscenced stuff that mainstream anime viewers should enjoy (except maybe Midori no Hibi but that serie felt special enough). Ive seen a little over 500 serie so im not the best guy around to suggest rare good stuff.

dude....lol you suck.

people are taking this "i don't like spoiler" thing way too series.

I've seen Midori no Hibi. If you woulda said "about a guy who wakes up and suddenly there's a girl for his right hand. Then funny stuff comences" i'm not going to be mad.

Yu Yu Hakasho is torture for me, It's like Hunter X Hunter, ONe Piece, and Lupin rolled up into very bad animation and action.

lol, I know i names atleast 2 good shows(Lupin still sucks) but me I can't stomach Old looking ANYTHING(so im not just discriminating against anime).

Wolfs Rain: about wolves looking for paradaise? Like actual wolfs? lol what? They talk and everything??

there's thousands of anime, just pick one

there's thousands of anime, just pick oneUnfortunately, NarutoHead has stated that he's very picky about animation styles. Since he isn't all that fond of older animation and drawing styles he'd rather not watch older series.

Hmm... You might want to try Gunslinger Girls. The series is about a government organization that uses cute and innocent looking young girls as assassins in order to keep control over the mob. Cute has never been so lethal... nor adorable. :heh: The animation and story are superbly handled and the musical score, similar to Italian opera music, can be somewhat chilling at times will still fitting the series look and feel. It's a wonderful series that isn't worth missing.

On a seperate note, I would very much like to hear the spoiler that ruined and prevents you from watching Neon Genesis Evangelion. I know the series quite well and I'd be willing to tell you exactly how major the spoiler is and if the series is still worth watching (which it most definitely is).

I'd be willing to bet money that whoever spoiled Evangelion for you got it wrong anyway. It's one of those setups where you can ask a hundred different people what happened and get a hundred different answers. Sometimes radically different answers.

people are taking this "i don't like spoiler" thing way too series.
I've taken to enclosing super-minor spoilers with a label like 'spoiler for NarutoHead'. Not that I'm trying to offend you, it's just that noone else would care.

People are only going to take it as seriously as the one who lodged the complaint in the first place.

And speaking of old art styles... you already list Monster as a show you follow, and I'd be curious to read your thoughts on Inu Yasha. Both of these shows use art styles that I (and others I'm sure) associate with hit series from more than a decade ago (Yawara! for Monster and Maison Ikkoku or Ranma 1/2 for Inu Yasha). If these series suit your tastes, then perhaps you should clarify a little what you mean by old art.
