I got Banner of the Stars v.03 instead of Banner of the Stars II v.03. I did this a long time ago and didn't realize it until today. It is still in it's wrappings and all, but I no longer have the receipt. I was wondering if there was a way to trade it in for another without loss in value or minimal loss in value? I mean, I'm trading it in for Banner of the Stars II v.03 so...

What's the best place to do this? Thanks.

Is the price tag still stuck on the plastic wrapping, and does it have the store's name/identifier? You should just be able to do an exchange for something of equal or less value if the store can price it since they have it in stock. Having some way to prove that it was bought from the same store. A lot of stores... in the U.S. anyway, have exchange without receipt policies. Try talking with the manager and see what kind of a deal you can work out. The worst that'll happen is that you walk out with the same video.

Maybe put it on Craig's List - again, if you're in the U.S. and near a city on their list - and offer it for trade if this doesn't work?

It's from Deep Discount DVD (an internet site).

I return stuff to them all the time. Since it is still wrapped you should have no problem getting your money back. Just contact their customer service to see what you need to do. They have always been prompt and curteous whenever I had to deal with them.

well, if you plan on collecting the rest of the Seikai series, why not just hang on to it?
