I'm looking for good anime series that are playing for the moment, to be clear they aren't finished yet and actually are on television. I know Inu Yasha isn't bad, but there are already more then 100 episodes and that's difficult downloading them starting from zero. Not more then about 15 or 20 episodes, so I can catch up easily and then download 1 or 2 episodes a week.

Currently I'm following Samurai Champloo, Samurai 7 and thinking about Monster.

Which other new series can you recommand ?

It would help if we had a better idea of what you like and what you dislike. But here's a list of unlicensed fansubs from the last two seasons for you to download (along with the links to the discussion threads).

They all have their fans, so it's rather depends of what you like. For a longer list, have a look at the last post of the Series Discussion Index (http://forums.animesuki.com/showthread.php?t=13483).

It's a new fansub. Tobikage ran on Japanese television from October 1985 to July 1986, and the age shows in the animation and art.

As hooliganj clearly stated, the series you claimed as "brand new" (i.e. Ninja Senshi Tobikage), is in fact an old series from 1985.

There is no "new" Ninja Senshi Tobikage, just the old one. That's why it isn't listed under the "Current Season" post of the Series Discussion Index (http://forums.animesuki.com/showthread.php?t=13483).

the_sharkmeister requested "good anime series that are playing for the moment", now I've assumed this to mean "good anime series that have been recently shown on Japanese TV", not "good anime series that have been recently fansubbed" :) but that's only an assumption.

And as a side note, it therefore implies (since he's made the request in the AnimeSuki forums) that it needs to be unlicensed, otherwise the thread gets shut down, so suggestions like Samurai Champloo and Tenjou Tenge are void :)
