after some 'server busy' messages i finally managed to register.
It works a bit swamped, but its within tolerable limits. It's great to be here on day one.

Wow, it does seem a bit empty..., luckily I joined before July 30th so didnt have to register again ;). The list of smilies is gone I noticed, are they going to be implemented later?
Its good to see that things are getting back on track. Good luck on getting everything else as it used to be ^^

Phew... Lets work on the BT step by step guide once again... ^^;
I'm now seeing the smilies, but I'd like to see more text in the different quick launch buttons - e.g., the "View new posts" and "Logout" functions. They're just checks for me right now - not sure if it's a profile thing or what...
Edit - Ah, I'm now getting the tooltips saying that these are temporary buttons. Good to know. :)
I move we boycot this thread and post in conversion!

I had so many posts in the Conversion forum. All gone now.

Hah, finally! It took me ages to get in here. I didn't remember my password, and whenever I tried to have it changed (after using the recovery function) I always got "server busy".
I noticed I can't use the word "Forum" in my custom title, but I am allowed to use "Official". Or rather, it was allowed to begin with, because the title was brought over from the old forum. But after I updated the profile, the word "Forum" in the title changed to "*****".
Weird.

Drat, I was here earlier but clicking on some forum link sent me all the way to the conversion forum where my nicely formatted party thread got lost. :mad:

The old forum colors are nice :D
I'm sure GHD will improve the looks of the forum when he's got the time to do so, I think finetuning of the forum has a higher priority at the moment ^^
When it comes to layout, the thing that bothers me the most is the amount of space a post takes up, it makes the page look crowded and messy, and there are only 10 posts per page instead of 20.
But then again, these are unimportant details, and should be dealt with after the forum works perfectly

Im still puzzled by the picure limit in the threads...
Is there a way to raise the max number of pictures avaiable for every post?
Warnold: I know that, but the default used to be 20
Anyway the most important thing is that the forum is ok now :)

Just did that. Why are sub moderators (Dranz) listed twice?
This doesn't seem too bad. My only complaint for the moment is I don't really like have those "report post | IP: Logged" things in the middle of someones post. It's not as bad if the person has a signature, but bleh. Also I wish it still showed my gender by my ava. Anyway, good work, GHDPro on setting this up so quickly. :D

This forum was origionally a set of topics in the EZ forum. GHDpro copied all the users when it moved to it's own forum, so everyone didn't have to re-register. There's never been a user wipe since.

Wow, I need some time to get used to this forum. It's still hard for me to get around it but I'm slowly getting the hang of it. Well anyway I'm just happy animesuki is back up. That's all that matters to me.

Do you remember at the early days of Animesuki when it's forum was just a subforum of EZ?
GHD just made a copy of the database and deleted the emulation threads.

Wow, A clean slate to postulate upon. I wonder what fresh material the forum reset will spur? The new layout is a little overwhelming at first, now that I have to get used to the re-positioning of things... But overall, it feels like a Good Thing.

Well, getting back on track yes. But here this forum is much slower than the forum before. Anyways, just a matter of patience :D
Much slower? I don't feel much of a difference. Then again, this forum is more content- and graphic-intensive, and so the resulting HTML page you receive should be larger than the BB version. Haven't verified this through experimentation though.

I'm having trouble with images myself. IE6 is not caching images from this forum. Everytime it loads any page it has to load all the images again! Needless to say that make loading each page a lot longer and eats into the sites bandwith. It also results (strangly, perhaps) in many images not loading at all, just like you. Am I the only one having this problem with IE6?
To combat this problem I am using Opera 7.2 which caches the images quite nicely and ensures that all my images load.

I have this problem as well.
It's odd because this usually occurs when i refresh the page, yet if i were to click a link that directed me back to the main threads page, all the images load perfectly.
I'm also using internet explorer 6.
