Hm, I am looking for something new. It' doesn't really matter wether it's licensed or unlicensed, since I have a few extra $ to spend at a local store :) What would be even better, is, if it was a series that is airing this upcoming season (of course the only way you would know if I would like it, is if it was previously a manga, and you've read it :))

I don't really have any specifications, but I will list the series I like/dislike below. Try and come up with some suggestions based on that ^^" (evil chibi makes you have to use your brain :p)

Likes:
.Hack//SIGN - (Everything about this series.)
.Hack//DUSK - (Very cute character designs and nice light-hearted first 4 eps.)
MUNTO - (Artwork :))
Midori no Hibi - (liked the series originality, good comedy, disliked artwork at times)
Tokyo Underground - (Artwork, and the fact they use special powers)
Mantantei Loki Ragnarok - (Mystery!)
Spiral - (Mystery! Liked first 15 episodes, ending wasn't that good)
Kare Kano - (unique romance story)
Slayers (all) - (comedy, fact that they use magic)
X-TV - (character developement, fact that they have special powers)
R.O.D. OVA - (good animation, did a lot for me in only 3 eps, emotional, special powers)
Scrapped Princess - (BONES :) and magic!)
Abenobashi - (some eps focused on fantasy/rpgs, funny)
Jungle wa itsumo hale nochi guu - (funny, just overall greatness)
Final Fantasy: Unlimited - (just something about it...)
Bottle Fairy - (cute, fun, educational ...in a good way :))
Popotan - (disliked the fanservice, but found it quite enjoyable)
Steel Angel Kurumi S2 - (loved the opening, disliked fanservice)
Get Backers - (some eps, not really into this genre overly much)
Hellsing - (love horror :D)
Elfen Lied - (very very deep, good music, good plot and plot twists)
Girls Bravo - (perfer it censored, good and light-hearted)
DearS - (it seems to have a nice story building up)
Chobits - (seems fun :))
Fruits Basket - (just love it)
Full Metal Alchemist - (only saw one ep ^^" loved it though!)
Azumanga Daioh! - (very funny, and fun to watch)
Galaxy Angel - (seems to be a nice, fun, light-hearted series :))
Comic Party - (liked what I saw, seems funny)
Happy Lesson - (seems light-hearted, good romance, like the artwork)

Dislikes:
Ghost in the Shell (all?) - (saw first SAC, disliked it, made me sleepy)
Yukikaze - (Fox Two, Fox Two....zzzZZzzzZZZ....found it VERY boring ^^")
Naruto - (it's ok, but it's just getting ridiculous...>.> too long IMO)
Hajime no Ippo - (artwork ^^")
One Piece - (artwork, wierd...^^" not that it's bad, this series is neutral for me)
Akira - (artwork >.< blegh!)
DB/Z/GT - (gets out of hand, just dislike it overall...used to love it when younger >.>)
Gundam Wing - (I don't like Mecha that much)

Genre Likes: fantasy, magic, adventure, comedy, romance, deep stories, emotion
Genre Dislikes: sci-fi (serious), government, mecha, fight, sports

Ok, half of those aren't really "genres" per say...but you get the point ^^"
Fav mix of genres: fantasy, magic, light-comedy, emotion

I don't like fantasy genres like Tolkien books or Everquest, not Elves and Trolls and such. I like magic, not mythical creatures :)

Hope that's enough info ^^"

Some series I've already been told to watch: Ultra Maniac, Flame of Recca

Have a few suggestions most are licensed I believe.

Sexy Commando Gaiden- Very funny comedy but it does just go over the top sometimes with how random it is.

Great Teacher Onizuka- Not really sure how to describe this is my #1 favorite besides its ending, very funny comedy and emotion/development.

Ai My Me Strawberry Eggs- Another comedy of a man who has to crossdress as a woman to get a job as a teacher at a school where the principal is sexist and hates all men in a co-ed school.

Trigun- Might want to check this one out its in a class of its own but it does fit your likes somewhat.

Thank you for the suggestions! Witch Hunter Robin is airing on TV this friday and I've seen the TV CSS, but I guess your suggesting the *real* version, which I would really like to see. Noir never really caught my interest, maybe I didn't give it enough time. Maburaho I really wanted to see, but it was licensed before I got a chance - I am not sure of the DVD release date either. Serial Experiments Lain I really liked, though it confused me to no end, much like the 2 eps of Texhnolyze I watched at a friends, which had so little dialoogue I couldn't really keep watching it ^^"

Triangle Heart: Sweet Songs Forever sounds good, I might just check that out :)

Haha, yes definately the *real* version of CCS. TV dub just finished airing on teletoon last friday (with a random eps airing tonight) and it was so horrible I just had to watch it for the laughs.

Noir is a 'you love it or you hate it' kind of show. I liked it, but then again I have no preferrence to what I'll watch and not watch at the moment.

I don't think Maburaho has a date set for the dvd, adv is like that, but someone has it, nothing is ever 'safe' from the internet.

But you might like Pretear if you can get ahold of it, but that is yet another love it or hate it series. It has a little bit of everything.

Thanks for answering all those questions ^^
Yeah, from what I've seen of Pretear, it looks like something I might like.

Hm, I was also wondering, do you think I would like Scryed?
