Welcome to the episode discussion thread about this week’s episode. Before I say the rules I just want to give out a warning that this thread will probably contain spoilers of the Manga and if you do not wish to spoil yourself unless if you have done so already then do NOT come into this thread. You have been warned.

Now for the people who don’t know about some of the spoiler tag rules, this thread is marked spoilers in the topic and so you don’t HAVE put a spoiler tag. But in case you want to, and feel more generous then normal you may feel free to use spoiler tags whatever way you wish.

Anyway this is what you should discuss in this thread:

1. Expectations of the episode if not aired or if you haven't seen it yet.
2. Announcements of which fansub groups have released the episode regardless if it is a RAW or Subbed.
3. Your comments on the episode if you have seen it both RAW and Subbed.

Just to make it clear there is to be no making new topics about the above things I have just showed you. I will close them down because I made this thread so all the posts regarding this topic will be in one place. It's alright if you're not used to the idea just yet but if I see a person continuously disregard this topic I will be very annoyed...and I just might have the power to stop you in your tracks.

So I think that we can expect to see Naruto talking with Gamabunta, the scene with Baki talking with Kazekage and with Gaara and co which was moved by the anime team then the beginning of the hospital thing.
With much luck, they can go until the beginning of the last test just before the first fight but I don't think so, filler filler and still filler.

wow mods are all over the place closing threads here and there. Its like a masscre of spammers oh well back on topic.

They are using wayy too much fillers in my opinion because the fact that this is a training period for the chunnin exam is gettin lost. It almost seems like this is a period after the exam and that everybody is just resting and .....eating......nd eating......and eating... :dots: Oh well im guessing that they gonna kill the entire episode with naruto trying to control gamabunta and then maybe some fillers where Jiraya has an argument or something with gamabunta. I really dont expect too much from the next episode.

Wll ill tell you one thing in the first fight the 3rd exam(Naruto vs. Neji) prepare for atleast a episode and a half of neji flashback.Thats how it will be in my opinion.

I don't think they'll show Gaara in Lee's room by the end of 57. They'll probably show a lot of filler. We may get to see people's reactions to Gamabunta when he drops Naruto off. The confrontation will probably have to wait until ep 58 at least.

If anything, there is probably going to be some talk between Gaara's Journin and Gaara's team, comedic talki and bitchen between Naruto and Gamabunta, and in the end after Naruto is droped off and the hospital, I think we'll see Gaara entering Rock Lee's room.

I don't really expect anything from episode 57...probably just a lot of filler stuff, like Naruto talking with Gambuta and what not and maybe what are some of the rules n stuff that he has to follow. I don't know :p

But I don't think they're gonna have any good stuff happening next episode. We'll see I guess ;)

pretty much what happens is Gamabunta calls naruto a punk kid and doesnt believe that he summoned him there and is looking for the sennin guy instead then gamabunta realizes naruto did summon him and is very surprised more stuff happens garaa goes into Lees hospital room naruto and that other guy (the only one that passes the chunin exam... forgot his name >.<) wanna fight Garaa for trying to hurt Lee when he is sick... the next part of the tournement starts Naruto beats the shit out of Neji, and Orochimaru invades in the middle of it all while Sauske and Garaa are fighting then they go fight in the woods near by Kakashi teaches Sauske his best move... (lightening... something) and for those that didnt know... Orochimaru is was a contender for becoming a Hokage and but the present one voted against it and so Orochimaru is getting his revenge... thats about it for the next 20 to 30 episodes or so

This idea makes no sense to me. The thread allows you to discuss manga material and also mandates you to include ep 57 discussion here. However if I just watched ep 57 and I want to discuss it with others, I would then have to discuss it in this thread and get spoiled by manga material.

Well no, It's not a thread for spoiler stuff after the episode 57, it's just that some people (for the moment I just see AnimeGamer183) make stupid spoiler when nobody ask for.
I reported his post to Dranz to put some spoiler tag in (even if erase it should be better).

The sticky thread for the current episode of the week is a pretty good idea, seriously I'm tired to see countless thread about the same episode.

The episode 57 wasn't released when this thread starded so it was a spoiler for the anime but that's all.

Btw the RAW of SaiyaMan is out now.

And my expectation was (sadly) very accurate, this episode covers hardly 10 pages of the chapter 96 + the scene with Baki and the Gaara's team + much much much fillers, then the episode finishes with Naruto in front of the hospital.

In fact all the episode show Gamabunta unable to throw Naruto of his back...

I agree with Kage here...they are really over doing it with how long naruto learns summon and other stuff get to the CHUNNIN EXAM!! :frustrated:

Okiay the reason I said it will probably contain Manga spoilers because talking about the episode usually means some people will discuss about the manga and future happenings. It happens a lot and it's too much work for me if I have to check every single post for manga spoilers in this thread because when I did that before certain people got mad at me.

But I can change it if you want so that any manga spoilers in the episode disussion threads must have a spoiler tag.

As usual the tracker seems to have problems handling the load of the inital Naruto release :)
Just be patient and you will get a connection eventually as long as you don't have generic BT problems.

The only episode (which has already been done) which could possibly be better then this one is the one before it.

The introduction for Kyubi is the ultimate in Ninja hardcoreness. I loved how they set up the Shadow Grin similar to ye olde Alice in Wonderlands' Chesire cat. Gives an aura of mystery to Kyubi's persona. As well as make his voice twice as menacing as it would be by itself.

I really liked this episode, i think it was one of the best ones in a long time. It is also nicely drawn. I didnt notice any dumb filler either, it was all excitment. But once the black fade started coming at the end i was like NOOOO i wanna see moore!

I wonder if Naruto will summon Gamma again or will he summon the smaller frog (the one that Jiraiya used against Ebisu and the same one that he demonstrated the summoning to naruto with). I think summoning gama against neji is a little overkill?? lol

yea i noticed too. is like the artist changes on every episode. If you habnt noticed yet, ero-sennin's frog is very cool lookin when he first comes out but on the next episode or so, the frog triples in size. oh well the artist needs to take a break too right?

I usually watch ANBU-AonE's version too but they made a mistake with the names in the contract scroll. Isn't the one right before Naruto's name supposed to be the Yondaime instead of Jiraiya??

I managed to download ANBU-AonE's and watch it last night. But it took longer than usually to download due to the problem with connecting to the tracker. =\ I waited about 30-40 minutes for it to connect. ^^;;

Even though it was full of fillers, I enjoyed this ep a lot. Gotta love the kicking-ass Gamabunta-sama. And this ep was really well draw too, looked like the same team who did the Zabuza saga.

Yea overall I found episode 57 very entertaining. I dont read the manga so I didnt know anything about Gambatu really. His personallity really cracks me up though. I would have never expected him to be such a grump. Next episode should be really good.
