View Full Version : Non-vocal japanese bands
Any non-vocal japanese bands out there, They can have some voice in it. IE chanting, whispering etc... Just not more than that. I guess they would be classical, and or new age bands if they existed.
Toe (http://www.toe.st/) is pretty good, although they're indie rock, not classical or new age. Pretty feel-good tunes. They have a good drummer. I enjoy them quite a bit.

New age? CLASSICAL!? How limiting...
The El Caminos are a Kobe-area surf band. They released a CD on Del-Fi Records (California). There are a couple of other bands I don't know too well like the Surf Coasters.

BUMP!
Check out Rin'. I think they're what you're looking for. Also try 12 Girls' Band. They also have a domestic english release.

Rin' is pretty good. But they have lots of singing and vocals.
I guess they would be classical, and or new age bands if they existed. They do'nt have to be.

This is a bit late, but couldn't help it when I read the post, had to make a user account to answer to this one =)
Mono is a great Japanese band with no vocals, they've released 3 albums so far. Have heard most at the first CD called Under the Pipal Tree and it's really good. It's some kind of experimental, but still good in my eyes :)
