It's because of the love and the fact that I guess they have a "leave no series behind policy" since Marimite has yet to be licenced.

Oh well.. reguarding our S2 episode 8.. I finally started kicking ^PaNdA around about it... She and the Kisara aka Hikata just moved to their dorms a couple weeks ago and are getting their butts kicked by school... hence the slow down.

The second season will end at episode 13, "Parasol o Sashite." It makes sense because this is a turning point to show Yumi starting to blossom as the Rosa Chinensis en bouton.


Word that is out amongst fans is that perhaps another season ("Maria-sama ga Miteru ~Natsu~"?) is in the works since there are more novels after this arc anyway.

If they keep making 13-episode midseason replacement series, and air them on the 3 months on/3 months off schedule they've been using so far, there would probably be enough material for a fourth season before they would have to break the pattern. I guess that could be ~Natsu~ and ~Aki~, or they might get some different titles.
