Which fansub groups are "bad"?Which are "good"?

I'm trying to find some old series lately and I have been coming across a lot of fansub groups I have not heard of. What are some fansub groups that I should generally stay away from? I found this group called KickAssAnime, with a name like that I got rather suspicous with their subbing quality, anyone got something specific on this group?

I do realize that people are doing this for free and I shouldn't complain, but some groups subbing really sucks, and I would like to save some bandwidth by avoiding them. Oh yeah, any recommendation for a generally good group? I usually stay with the biggies like aone, anbu, lunar, akeep, and akraze, the rest I go on a series by series basis.

If you want to know which groups are acceptable (for you), then try downloading them and deciding for your self. Or use the search feature and read some of the existing threads...
