continuing on Xris' post:
DearS is a funny Chobits lookalike, if you like that kinda genre it's something for you : comedy - ecchi , not bad not great either.
Girls Bravo is another romance/comedy/ecchi but we've got the censored version, which means lotsa fog everywhere, this is what turned me off, too many times the screen was almost completely white with only a head or two sticking out every once in a while. I dropped it for the graphics but it's not that bad actually
Maria-sama ga Miteru ~Spring~ is about the best stuff around at the moment imho. If you haven't watched maria-sama ga miteru (Spring is the 2nd season) then i suggest giving it a try. It's a shoujo-ai series about an all-girls high school, the story centers completely around the girls relationships with each other. While complicated at first due to the amount of characters I found it a beautiful, calm and refreshing anime.
Ninin Ga Shinobuden is a parody on other anime, I watched a few episodes and it's quite hilarious at times, try it, the first episode is a Naruto parody in many ways, damn funny :) Perfect after a day at work :)
Soukyou no Fafner : I just started watching this one : looks very evangelion to me, graphics are very nice, don't know about the story yet since I've seen only 2 eps, a mecha series. Looks promising though
Wind ~ A Breath of Heart : Based on a game, it's a romance/magic/schoolkids thingie,. It's about a group of friends who live in a town where everyone has some kind of special power (one can jump high, someone else can heal, ...). But not everything in this town is what it seems, I think it started really good, but somewhere it just seemed to change anime genre completely, a bit weird but Iliked it nonetheless.
I didn't see the other shows so can't tell if they are worth it

to add some more, I'd say that I like Girls Bravo a lot despite the heavy censorship. Its comedy is very good IMO, lots of funny jokes and parodies and some great fun to watch. Nothing serious, but I think the characters are great.
Ninin ga Shinobuden and Galaxy Angel IV are somewhat similar, they are both some INSANE parody and comedy. Personally I like Galaxy Angel IV a bit more since there are more cute girls and it's a bit more insane. However I guess you'll like Ninin ga Shinobuden if you like ninjas, dirty jokes and some shoujo-ai overtone. Both have some great funny characters, but Ninin ga Shinobuden's Onsokumaru is really simply one of the best characters ever :heh:
