The surprise announcement!! What do you think it will be? [Manga] [Archive]

Hmmm at the end of chapter 233 there is a caption about some kind of surprise announcement in the next chapter I wonder what it will be maybe having the manga pickup a few months after the battle. Who knows God I hope its not about the ending of the series or something like that.

I'm guessing it's related to the production of the manga instead of the actual storyline. Otherwise it wouldn't have been in the same sentance as the color page thing. I think... ;)

Anyway, as I wrote in the manga thread, the only thing I can come up with is Kishimoto taking time off to prepare for a time jump. But that's only because some people here have been wanting that to happen for so long now... So I dunno... Considering he times it so well with what seems to be the end of the arc, couldn't it be possible?

I don't know what it will be, but I really don't want to worry too much over what it may be, it could be something silly or something like a time skip or even something like Kishimoto taking a break from doing the series, so I really don't want to think on it until I actually see the announcement. No use worrying over it.

Personally though, I hope it's about a time skip. Or that Sasuke is gay :D

The announcement is supposed to be shocking, surprising, and unbelievable. For Kishimoto to reveal that Sasuke is gay is like, him telling us that Naruto likes ramen.

If there any Inuyasha fan u might now that Inuyasha is ending at chapter 400. So probably there is going to be space for a new series. Maybe he is going to make another series together with the series of Naruto. Maybe a series about The third and the Sannin. That would be so cool

The number of SasuSaku fans are dwarfed by the number of SasuNaru fans. I have a feeling it will just be who's dead.

My guess... Kishimoto sold the copyrights of Naruto to the animation studios and he will no longer work on the manga. The animation will cover up to the current part of the manga and it'll all be "fillers" from then on. /cringe

I'd be surprised if it wasn't to do with which characters have died. Although, as someone has said; the announcement is mentioned in the same block as the colour pages - which makes me think it will have something to do with production.

I doubt he'll 'announce' a time jump, being as that is simply something to do with the narrative of the story; its not really an announcement. It could be there is a spin-off series (or something similiar) in the making, maybe?

Here are a couple ideas:

1. Kishimoto is actually dead. The background artist took over the storyline for the recent arc and apologizes for dragging it out so long.

2. Kishimoto makes Sakura "useful."

3. Naruto becomes a hentai series...

4. Chouji isn't dead.

5. Oro really isn't gay.

6. DBZxNaruto crossover (i.e. look for the dragon balls to revive Naruto)

Who really knows what the shocking announcement is. I just hope it's good enough to "shock" all of us.

1.) The announcment of fallen Ninja. (The announcment is brought thru by the plot)

2.) Kakashi takes of his mask, and kisses naruto on the lips (he was in love with the 4th)

3.) Chouji goes on the subway diet, and heads out on a mission with Jered.

4.) Sakura and Ino get talked into a 2 way underground movie. ^_^

5.) Sasuke trips on a rock and dies.

6.) ET phone home

7.) The third comes back from the dead, and haunts Konoha, scaring all the little boys and girls.

The more I read these posts the less I think it has anything to do with the plot, I mean, people don't go around announcing thing that will happen in their plot, they let them happen. So I've concluded it had to do with the production of the manga most likely, maybe after this arc Kishimoto will take a long break...

Yeah, but I think it's more likely something to do with the animation. Announcement of 2th movie or cancellation of the anime series. Probably it's nothing important, maybe he got a baby and now he wants to tell about it to readers. Dads are often like that. We will know what it is in a week.
