Any one have any information on any anime in 2004 that is worth watching??

One anime rumour i have heard of, is Tenjo Tenge. I am definately looking forward to this cuz the manga is AWSOME!!! if you liked Ikkitousen, this is 10x better. Actually, i have heard that Ikkitousen copied this, but...i dont think thats possible, seeing as Ikkitousen is done, and Tenjo Tenge is still going on. If you dont know what Tenjo Tenge is, definately look it up. Its Ikkitousen, with better fighting, and better looking chicks.

Nope, there's nothing out yet on what's due out after the first of the year, but I'm sure the fansub groups will start making their announcements as to who will be subbing what soon. Especially with several key series ending in a couple of weeks, the winter season should be awesome with tons of new stuff. :)

Ikkitousen was a fighting anime? News flash *to me*. Here I watched all 13 epiosode not realising it was a fighting genre. Must be all those jiggle and wiggle.

Lord Raiden, are there any websites that has info on upcoming series? Can you post some links if you have come accross any? Thanks in advance.

Personally, I'm looking forward to This Ugly And Beautiful World (www.konomini.com) - the next Gainax anime (i know very little about it, but surely it'll be good...). Paranoia Agent (www.mousou.tv) looks interesting, too, but with Geneon USA in the trailer credits, looks like it's pre-licensed. The only other ones i've come across are Dead Leaves, by production IG (www.production-ig.co.jp), and hopefully Kumo no Mukou, Yakusoku no Basho (http://www2.odn.ne.jp/%7Eccs50140/beyond_cloud/index.html) if Shinkai pulls his finger out...

While Tenjo Tenge is an awesome manga (Because Ogure Ito is a god-like artist) Ikkitousen was rather crap. Now I WANT to see TT as an anime.

*hopes*

Sorry, I don't have any with current info on them right now. But that info should be updated fairly soon as we're getting close to the end of the year. The closer we get, the more likely we'll start hearing about it a lot more. Right now all we're getting is hints and teasers, no solid info on what's being offered.

It's my hope that they finally complete "Beyond the Clouds" and release it soon, or just after the first of the year. We've been waiting since like the beginning of this year for them to release it.

I am also looking forward to This Ugly and Beautiful World as well, the only thing I have read about it is that its a scifi series with some romance in it.

Samurai Champloo posted by Vicious here looks to an awesome series... http://forums.animesuki.com/showthread.php?t=2215

And also Mezzo which I heard it came out with an ova before and it suck, but I have watched the trailer and think that the TV series has some potential.

Lastly I'm looking forward to the second season of Berserk if there is one... :D

Like Tboz-san said, there's Samurai Champloo scheduled for early 2004. We'll hopefully see Saint Seiya Hades Chapter- Inferno in mid-2004 too. There's the new Saint Seiya movie in February, the 5th One Piece movie in March and the 1st Naruto movie in August :D

This Ugly And Beautiful World looks like it'll be interesting though. Hope it's not another Evangelion or another .hack :p

Mezzo Forte OVA wasnt that bad. It had good paced action and was quite funny at times. It reminded me of the Die Hard movies except it was animated. I did watch the edited version but from what I hear, I only missed out on the hentai parts which dont seem important to me.

http://animedaisuki.net:8008 has some good info on it about future shows. The only one I'm slightly interested in the Hikaru no Go New years special.

Hmm... I have never watched Mezzo Forte before, what I know is from general reviews. I hope its a good series too, saw "Bumblebee" in the trailer and that caught my attention. :D

Btw, I saw Ace O Nerae Live action in your link. Now I am looking forward to that too cuz its starring Ueto Aya...

I've heard something about a second Berserk season coming out in 2004. That would really be something to look forward to.

Apparently there might be a Stellvia sequel coming out after Summer 2004? You might want to check This thread (http://forums.animesuki.com/showthread.php?p=36132)...

I'm also looking forward to the Ugly but Beautiful World thing. Sucks if it's pre-licensed though. :(

And Mezzo looks nice - good animation, but one thing is, I totally don't agree with the lead's dress sense. :(

EDIT: Looks like a nice anime, but just add an "s" somewhere in the name, and um... (http://www.broccoli.co.jp/bushilord/)

I'm going to close this thread in favor of Winter/Spring series list of new anime?
