Now I wonder,
Will Bandai be releasing the Seraphim Gundam as a stand-alone HG 1/144, or will it be a 2in1 HG 1/144 kit with the Seravee (Seraphim in backpack mode on Seravee's back)?
And also, I'm looking forward to getting that new Samurai Flag.

The transformation doesn't look that complicated. Possible that the HG release of Seraphim Gundam (Seravee is already released) can transform and equipped on Seravee's back
And I demand Samurai Flag now!

Yea you got a point there, just like the 00 Gundam and 0 Raiser...
Besides, the Samurai Flag looks real sleek upon 1st view.

Seraphim gundam might even be able to combine with the GN Archer and 0 Raiser.
Why do the bad guys get the cooler suits? I say that Billy will come up with a backpack for the Graham's new unit to even the odds. Samurai Flag for the WIN!

What's wrong with Samurai Flag? The pilot is called Mister Bushido so calling his suit Samurai Flag is quite fitting.

Thing is there's a line that goes "Masurao, this is your customised machine" when the Suit is introduced.

I'm so stupid. I destroyed my 1/144 HG 00... First I destroyed the V fin (Trying to remove excess plastic from V fin with knife), now I destroyed it's head. I'm going to buy the 1/144 HG O Raiser+00 set and I'll keep the body of my old 1/144 HG 00. Old 00 body can be used to make a battle damaged body. All I need to do then is switch the heads once in a while.
Goddamn excess plastic on V fins.
I'm hoping for HG Gn Flag before HG Samurai flag.....maybe is my dream.....
i can foresee how 1/100 seravee gundam will look like now....gonna collect all!!!!! XD

Use a cutter to snap the excess plastic on the V-Fins off. Cutter as in what you use to snap the plastic parts off from the spree.

Thanks for the tip.
I hope Bandai will stop adding those nubs on a V fin one day. It's not like a small kid has less chance of stabbing his eye with a v fin with small nubs at the pointy sides and turn it into a bloody mess.

It's would be silly, because 4 of the arms are already cannons...:heh: That wouldn't be much more powerful, because they would still be using the same reactor to power the guns.

I hope it comes with more than 2 beam sabers. In the new OP, they showed Seravee holding 6! I thought that was really cool. Took Ali by surprise.
Any chance for Seravee to shed its armor to reveal another Nadleeh? (even though Seraphim is technically Nadleeh 2.0)

Unlikely. The armor is integrated into the endo-skeleton. Though I am curious about those huge white panels on each side of Seravee. They look like they do something.

Those white side panels don't seem to be able to do anything, at least not when looking at my HG Seravee. The bottom part of the panel is a very thin plate, with corresponding detail indicating that it's not just some hollowed out part.

Well, a lot of new features have been added since the release of the HG kit, (such as the hands and Seraphim) so you never know. They might as well have more features and extra stuff to really entice buyers.

Given how the binders themselves are designed though, they really didn't seem to give it that much importance. Heck, the binders are actually in a single piece, and can't be book-folded unlike what its design would suggest.
If I would suggest a crack theory regarding the side panels, maybe they'd fold in on themselves and act as Seraphim's shields, but given that there's no real evidence for that I'll hold of on speculating what those panels are, asides from being mere vents and side armor.

White Nadleeh + Virtue's black cannons/GN field emitters vs. Black Seraphim (already with built-in cannons) + Seravee's White GN Field emitter/shield?... Hmmm... :eyebrow: ;)
White & Black
Nadleeh & Seraphim
Trial & Retribution "Repeat after me: All-Your-GN-Drives-Are-Belong-To-Us!" :D
Perhaps both Seraphim Gundam and "GN Seraph/Slave/Seravee" will each be able to hand carry a GN Field emitter as shields, when operated simultanuously.
I'd even hazzard a guess that Anew Returner will be piloting GN Seravee (countering her twin, Revive Revival in the Virtue-inspired Gadessa) to maximize its use as a stand alone next to Seraphim Gundam.
That just leaves VEDA on the checklist.
Btw, just to emphasize, anyone still not noticing the trend here? ;)

GN-008+GNR-110S Seravee Gundam Tieria Erde (& Anew Returner)
For-Teh-Lulz "callsigns" notwithstanding, I made up the MS names and designation numbers for the "Gun Slave" (Seravee stand-alone) and the as-of-yet non-existing "Gun Cannon." Plus I saw fit to add Feldt and Anew to the pilot roster (What new OP?! :D).
Other than that though, the list is true to what is officially revealed.
We're just short one partner MS for Cherubim, and the pilots for that and the Seravee stand-alone.
However I've little doubt that the trend of "GundamDoubleOh's-Quartet-Of- Dynamic-Duos-With-Intertwined-Fates" will buckle, since symbolism is layed on thick as per Sunrise custom. ;)

What the hell is the GN Slave and GN Cannon?
What the hell is the GN Slave and GN Cannon?
Something crazy and fan-made that T.V. thought of.
What the hell is the GN Slave and GN Cannon?
GN Slave, as in "Gun Slave" ("Seravu" in katakana?) = personally coined name for Seravee when not docked with Seraphim Gundam.
GN Cannon, as in "Gun Cannon" = personally coined name for as-of-yet-not-existing support unit for Cherubum.
Since Arios got a new "Tail Booster 2.0" called "Gun Archer," I reckon Cherubim will recieve a new "Orbital Cannon 2.0 (http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm201/tvermazeren/DynamesKyriostail.jpg)" called "Gun Cannon," whilst "Gun Slave" rounds out the trio of support units for the Arios, Cherubim and Seraphim Gundams, respectively.
Feldt and Lyle working together to live up to Neil's motto is just like the kind of poetic justice Sunrise will throw at us. Not that I'd be bothered by that. ;)
Anew, a 'goodguy' Innovator, just like Tieria, is ideally placed to mimic her twin Revival, pitting the Virtue successor "GN Slave/Seravee" against the Virtue inspired Gadessa.
Edit:
Guess I posted it in the wrong thread as well, since it's better suited for the 00 speculation thread. ;)

Yea, Archer definitely looks more feminine, Nadleeh is supposed to be a man with long hair. Plus the lols image in the ridiculous thread, Archer is defintely my favourite design in 00 lol
Ryusei wouldn't really have a sugar rush but would still find her quite a cutie.
Does anyone who has the HG Seravee know if it can be put together securely enough in a way which allows for the Seraphim backpack module to be removed easily, should a transformable HG Seraphim be released eventually?
(If you can, I wouldn't mind going for the current Seravee and waiting for a Seraphim to plug into it, but if Bandai are gonna make you get a whole new kit then I'd rather wait...)

We better get a Damashii Trilobite.
Or else.
Well, to answer my own question, looking at the manual of the Seravee I picked up today, it seems that you can indeed set up the Seraphim backpack in a way which doesn't require it being glued on or stuck in a non-removable way - but I'll be able to clarify this better once I start assembling it...
Quick question, do the 1/100 scale 00 kits have ball joint hands? I dont like them solid fist ones that come with it and was thinking of switching it out for a had like the ones found on the MG's.

Well, to answer my own question, looking at the manual of the Seravee I picked up today, it seems that you can indeed set up the Seraphim backpack in a way which doesn't require it being glued on or stuck in a non-removable way - but I'll be able to clarify this better once I start assembling it...
I've tried that with the Seravee, and though it feels tough, it's actually quite easy to remove. So yes, they're probably setting up for a compatible transformable Seraphim should they release a HG model of it.

I doubt Bandai will be generous enough to release a transformable Seraphim Gundam that can attach to Seravee's back. But since they actually tell us in advance about the 0 Raiser and GN Archer, I think that's pretty possible now

you're either trying to falsely raise the hopes of many fans who crave for the MG Exia or you simply have no idea what you are talking about. MGs don't get released this quickly, this site:

Damashii Seraphim Gundam looks delicious.
I just got my HG Seravee asembled - and I was wondering about the rotatable hooks that go onto the two GN Bazooka II pieces.
On the 00 and Cherudim, there are places for the weapons each carry to be stored when not in use - the Cherudim sticks the rifle on its right shoulder, for example.
Now, while I can sort of have the bazooka pieces hanging loosely off of the side pieces at the Seravee's hips (rotating the hooks down, and having them go into the slits on each side piece)...

In the original OP, when Arche Gundam flies past Seravee Gundam, you can see a cross of red light emanating from the red gemstone in the Seraphim Gundam's giant head just before Seravee fired all of its cannons at once.
Personally, I think it was just for show, something to make it look cool. I doubt there's much else to it.

Is there another way to have these weapons stowed securely?I don't have the model, but are the GN Bazooka's able to attach firmly to each of the 4 GN Cannons?
If so, you might want to try pointing the top pair down and attach the GN Bazookas to them, resulting in a pair of GN Bazooka Cannons hanging downwards on the back.
If, not you'll just have to buy HG Seraphim as well, using its hand to carry the Bazookas whilst in backpack mode. ;)
Not quite firmly - at least, not without using the arm to hold it up, too.
I see what you are getting at, but right now, it seems to be too loose...
...however, what could work, potentially, might be when the Seraphim is released - and one could use its 'arms' in hand-mode, holding the Bazooka pieces or something.
In theory.
On the other hand, it's sort of alright leaving them hanging on the side, too.

The OP's may use dramatic license for show, but as something that clear comes out of the MS not just in the previous OP but also in this one, it's more likely that it is a yet unrevealed feature. Afterall, even after Seraphim Gundam is revealed, the Seravee manual still hints to an upcoming Veda-only ability, which has yet to happen.

is the HG Seraphim Gundam in 1/144?? If so, this is terribly unfair..considering that Seravee's backpack is already 80% complete and we have to pay the double amount of money (for another kit) to finish the "extra 20%"
I hope HG 1/100 will have everything in one kit...and the price should not be that expensive, because the transformation of Seraphim should be really really simple...(Well, for transformation, the kit may want you to stick the gundam head anyway instead of poping out..) So I will probably wait for the 1/100 kit instead and hope for the reasonable price (like no double MS price..) but knowing Bandai, I know I am probably expecting too much XD

I dunno, this pic suggests that the waist does move, if at least a bit, judging by how angled the center chestpiece is to the crotch. Notice that the side edge of the chestpiece is aligned with the notch on the red crotchpiece.
Knight_SV
2009-01-14, 23:48
no the waist didn't move at all, it was the upper torso who move. it was actually a good move if they making both upper torso and waist can move together....
so now, i must do another extra putty job again just like how i do for the 00

Hmmmm scrutinizing the pics again, and somehow, yes it's the upper armor chestpiece that moves. The white torso piece remains affixed to the waist.

what is actually bandai thinking for eliminating waist joint?? cherudim didn't have a special equipment like 00, so what the hell they thinking?00 still make sense, because it eventually will get an MG release next or 2 years from now. but the rest of 00 S2 gundams?they little to no chance on getting MG treatment
Maybe to balance the Sniper Rifle weight.Look like I can think on buying 1/144 Cherudim with 1/100 doesn't have any extra feature.:D
Knight_SV
2009-01-15, 00:17
Sniper Rifle balance?? there's no way that's the reason, cause the sniper rifle isn't heavy at all just like dynames. For the 00 i have added the waist joint and eliminating the upper torso movement. And when docking with 0-Raiser it become more stable than the time where upper torso still moveable. so i don't see there is a reason to eliminate waist joint.
i guess they just want the 1/100 gundams more realistic to the human body because you cant twist your lower torso no matter how hard you try.. only the upper torso really moves, the lower half is stationary minus the skin twisting towards whichever direction the upper body turns. i have no problem with it.. as even if its SLIGHTLY less posable, its still able to tilt left and right and up and down. im getting it for sure, i love cherudim.
anyone know how HCM-PRO compares with robot damashii since they both are mass releasing things from the show. i would like to know because as of now im collecting robot damashii things, but hcm-pro is very enticing at the moment but i dont want to be forking money for both of them just to get the same product.

OMG!!! that PG Astray is awesome, the redesign Gerbera look cooler & the leg also has green thing on it.:twitch: Oh,I'm gonna cry because Bandai does'nt release MG Astray.:(
Hmmm the Astray looks great but I don't like the new Gerbera Straight design. Maybe because its named 'Straight', so they redesigned it to be a straight blade. Its no longer a katana, a katana must be curved because of cooling from the final heating process which the katana bends from the rapidly cooling layers of steel.

That's because the phrase "Gerbera Straight" is a literal mistranslation of the "Kiku-ichimonji" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kikuichi-monji) (菊一文字).
Damn Fukuda for his Engrish.
What? LOL
I didn't know that. It would have also been cooler if its called Kikuichimonji.
While the ichimonji stroke is a horizontal straight slash, pointing to the quality of the blade, being able to slay in a single stroke. I didn't know Gerbera is the genus name for the sunflower, chrysanthemum family.

I like the detail, but there is just no enjoyment. The satisfaction that comes along with assembling and displaying the Gunpla is just too great to be taken away from such people like me. Not really. In some cases, there are no other alternatives. I bought the Code Geass Offshoot (Gawain's predecessor) ones just because there were no plastic kits for them like Burai Zero Custom or Gawain.
As for MSiA, the mobility and quality leaves much room for wishes. I never bought one and I'd never buy one). They are basically just your regular toys, so a kid can play battles with other kids.

You hit the nail on the head there. I have a few MSiA figures from back before I got into the models, and they're just action figures. swappable hands, mediocre posability, and they always came with soft rubber/vinyl/plastic/whatever weapons and parts that are always bent in a warped shape that NEVER, EVER want to be bent back to normal. Well, a couple of HCM Pros are indeed interesting. Like the combination of Destroy-Impulse and Freedom with its beam saber-pierce-through-Destroy effect. Also, theHeavyarms Gundam from Wing just scerams "buy me!" with its minigun effects. Still, to me the line is just overpriced. Just look at the HCM Pro Dynames. Well, I thought that S Gundam can't go Waverider, but it's like ZZ's core block system..
Sorry if I wrong.Well, actually it really is closer to the ZZ core block system lol, but its developed from the Zeta Plus suits with true Wave Rider capabilities.
IIRC the S is like the ZZ - G-fighter, G-core, and G-bomber. Ex-S converts to G-cruiser.

The reason it hasn't been done is because the HG Virtue and Nadleeh don't really share that many parts. It's possible, but considering the size of the kits involved it'll take a LOT of work to make it stable, to the point where it's almost not worth it. :heh:
