[Seed & GSD] Deakka/Miriallia

Will they bother developing this connection in Destiny? im kind of hoping they will. Just polling for thoughts.

I personally didn't find their relationship that deep. I felt Deakka was simply feeling guilty (for attempting to shoot her ship down this whole time), sympathetic (that one of them killed her boyfriend), and touched by Miriallia (he probably thought she was cute anyways). Siince the Archangel was fighting EA which was his main enemy, he might as well protect the Archangel after failing 238028302 times to shoot it down himself. Ya know how that goes...you gain admiration from your rival or something like that. Or if you can't beat them, join them? An enemy of my enemy is my friend? :D

But since they had no real common grounds other than being aboard Archangel, they parted ways after the war ended--Deakka went back to PLANT with all the Coordinators to continue his profession/life as a MS pilot, and Miriallia went back to Earth with all the Naturals to seek her own path.

Well, see, thats the thing. There was some minor development there, but Deakka was more or less ignored for most of the last ten episodes anyways. No major lines, no reunion with Asran, etc. But something may have been happening (remember the byplay towards the end of ep 48).... It would be cool if SOMETHING happened.

Shes the only one of the Archangel that talked to him while he was lonely sitting in the cafeteria and worried about him in the last episodes.
In my opinion there is at least a slight possibility for something between them.
I like both characters so I woudln't mind ;)
Perhaps she is no more open for a relationship,because her boyfriends death is quite long ago.

Everyone knows that if any single male and single female of similar age talk to one another in an anime or manga there is a 50 percent chance they will end up together. (Notice the Shikamaru and Temari speculation)

The odds go up every time the girl attacks the guy or the two get into a embarrassing situation before they know one another's name.

Of course, if the girl attacks the guy and they get into an embarrassing situation in their first encounter their future relationship is a given. (Athrun and Cagalli)

Yeah, but Cagalli also attacked Kira (punching him in the desert) and she jumps onto him clinging to him for a bunch of episodes. (Don't forget Kira's selfless act on Heliopolis) I bet Cagalli would've been with Kira if she didn't find out he was her brother (unless they promote Incest :P) by the amount of blushing she had for him. She didn't really go for Athrun until she found out Kira was her brother.

So this kind of stuff isn't too rare. OF COURSE, you do have all those incest hentai anime out there... :P

I personally despise Dearka x Miriallia. Then again my opinion is biased since Tolle was one of my favorite characters, and Tolle x Miriallia is one of my OTPs. Even on an unbiased note, I saw absolutely nothing between them, except a brother/sister relationship. Dearka saw what war took away from Miriallia, and he re-evaluated what he was truely fighting for, and fought to protect her and other people like a big brother would to his little sister. I see no romantic relationship happening though. :rolleyes:

Romantic Relationships usually end up with both sides blushing when they see each other... besides Cagalli and Kira (Unless... Incest :P). Don't remember Dearka or Milly doing that when they're together.

Aye, I'm thinking he was just feeling guilty and wanted to help her feel better. I personally didn't see anything approaching a chemistry between those two, other than a pretty subtle friendship.

I agree with Auel. Millie and Dearka's relationship seems more like a brother-sister one to me.
