Of the new ones, i'm thinking Peacemaker Kurogane is good. Also, Gilgamesh is worth trying out.

To add to those already suggested,

Rumic Theater might suit your taste in comedy. It's from Rumiko Takahashi, which means the stories are quite interesting, plus the humor is offbeat and refreshing. Maburaho is a hilarious harem anime with lots of fan service. Boys Be is an endearing romantic comedy anime. Dokkoida has been highly regarded by some, though I myself haven't tried it. Popotan is a good hgame turned anime. And Planetes is going to be a great anime, the shows so far shows a lot of promise.

For a change of pace, try some suspense anime. Shingetsutan Tsukihime seems to be a very good anime, reminiscent in pace and atmosphere to Vampire Princess Miyu. Kousetsu Hyaku Monogatari will chronicle Japanese Ghost Stories and folklore, which I find interesting. And Mermaid's Forest looks to be a very good follow-up to Rumic Theater, watch it along with Mermaid Scar (dubbed even!) and Mermaid Forest (An OAV show featuring the same main characters).

Almost all of these shows are available as torrents in animesuki.

Eh, I haven't watch PoT, but I'd assume its about a guy or a bunch of guys playing tennis and getting better.... I don't think I'm wrong in assuming that :)

I haven't watched too many eps of Full Moon wo Sagashite, but if the story follows its main plot for the whole 52 eps, its about a girl who loves to sing and wants to be a singer to meet her old boyfriend. The problem is, she has a tumor on her throat that would cause her to die if not operated on, and if there is an operation, she has a possibility to lose her voice. From what I've seen, its aimed more towards kids or young girls, but I thought it's been pretty good so far. The humor is pretty and it's a surprisingly light hearted anime considering her situation. It's cutesy as well if you like that.

Full Moon wo Sagashite is very good, esp towards the last 10 episodes where there're some dramatic moments. So it's a mixture of comedy plus drama. great animation and fantastic soundtrack!

As ::faze said earlier, its about a 12 year old girl (Mitsuki) who loves to sing and have a promise with a guy (Ei-chi) that she like that she will become a singer, but she has a tumor in her throat. One day two Shinigami (god of death) appear and told her she only have 1 year to live. So in order to fulfill her dreams, 1 of the Shinigami (Takuto) turn her into a beautiful 16 year old Mitsuki to take part in a singing contest. From then on, the story begins...

Full Moon o Sagashite (FMOS) may seem like a girlish show at the start. But towards the end, you will find that the story is very nice and it comprises of family relationships, friendship and love. The show has its funny moments, and as the show goes on, my heart is completely touched by the story. Furthermore, the songs that the main character (Mitsuki) sang in the show are very meaningful and touching, which are added points to FMOS.

Now, I am still downloading episode 50. Only 2 more to go~! :love:

Macross Zero is planned as the prequel to the original Macross. It totals 5 episode and is released every half a year. The CG used is superb as its an OVA series. So far it's at episode 2 and episode 3 should be coming soon.

Another good series I have come across recently is Shingetsutan Tsukihime which Danny Boy has recommended too. That would fall into category 2, 9, 10 and maybe 7. Its a pretty dark and grim series dealing with vampires and hunters. It packs alot of suspences and always has me guessing what the next episode will reveal. Its a short series at 12 episodes tho. :)

I highly recommend PARADISE KISS first. career and love. charming and irritating. it's not echii. but includes 1 or 2 hentai plays. but the ending is smashing. i dunno if u'd like it..
