You know the theme that usually goes on when it show soul society. For example take a look at episode 59 with Bauykua vs Ichigo, the part where he forms the rings of swords around ichigo there is a very mythical tune. I believe the tune is also used when it shows Yamato.

I agree with you lyrics do sound bizzare but we automatically percive its for Ichigo

But IMO that song was Not sung for a guy its more to do with a woman an independent woman trying to socialize or going through a break up in that relivance . Its not Gloria Gaynor's I will Survive but something like that :heh: The lyrics ( highlighted ) made me think it sung for a woman

true and to be honest i hardly like OST2, i cant really put it but it doesnt sound like the old Bleach sound.. i like 1 or 2 songs but the rest .. meh..

During around Bleach ep 53/54 last Nov I was listening to Nuber One a lot it was Ichi's swan song and well it was mine to . I had this massive earphones which I used to listen to this while commuting . And well I started humming the lyrics and well they didnt make any sense . So out of sheer curosity I checked the lyrics and well I started thinking that way .

When I thought this was a women centric track it started to make sense . Also the lyrics are usally discarded in the anime majority of the times that strengthened my beleifs . But if you see the lyrics from a guys point of veiw ie Ichi they are really bizzare and spooky as you said :D

I really liked the first Bleach OST. My favourite songs being:
on the precipice of defeat
Asterisk (anime and OST versions)
creeping shadows
will of the heart
requiem for the lost ones
Nothing Can Be Explained
burden of the past
destiny awaits
catch-22

But I was rather disappointed by the 2nd OST. I expected more gems like the 1st one but only a few songs did catch my attention:
a requiem (very nice piano song)
torn apart
swan song

Overall though, there's a nice "vampire theme music" feeling in that OST that fits the Bount arc perfectly (as Bounts were considered vampires in human legends), mainly because of the frequent use of classical music instruments (harpsichord, violin, pipe organ)
