pastel pure , rip off?

I just listened the song "yume no ato ni" from Wish's music tracks and it seems really familiar with "pastel pure" vocal version from maria sama ga miteru,although the lyrics are differents , the melody is the same.
Regarding the fact that "wish's music tracks" were released long before marimite , could we call that a rip off? :confused: :nono: :hmm: :uhoh:

You would be suprised how often this happens... I wouldn't be too concerned, if anything I would percieve this as flattery =p

Don't know the music in question, but a quick check credits "yume no ato ni" to Ali Project, who also happen to be credited for "pastel pure". Not so much a rip off, but a reworking of old material.
