Peach Girl: Change of Heart

Hi, erm, I'm a fan of the Peach Girl series. For a shoujo, it has a very good and mature story. I also love the art. What interesting lips! anyway, recently(aactually tonight @_@) I have read the Change of Heart series of PG. the library I got it from only has volumes 1-6 and 8-10! I dont wanna skip volume 7 because I have read it is an important point in the series. Anyway, what I want is if anyone could give me a link to download volume 7, or give me a reeeealy descriptive plot outline, I cant find any. Please respond if you can. Thanks a hundred times.

If you didn't know yet, if you started reading Peach Girl: Change of Heart at volume 1, you already skipped half of the series. Tokyopop did a poor job numbering this great manga...

Peach Girl is actually 17+ or so volumes long. Change of Heart volume 1 is actually volume 8 of Peach Girl. The first half of Peach Girl is hard to find, but I think Tokyopop is re-releasing it now. Just clearing things up if you didn't know yet. :) I've known a lot of people who thought Change of Heart volume 1 was volume 1 of the Peach Girl series and it messed up the surprise for the real first half of the story for them.

Anyway, it is a really good manga, and I can't wait for the anime version. Sorry, I don't own volume 7 of Change of Heart though... and I doubt it's available for download anywhere. You should hunt bookstores or see if you can special order it.

Oh yes, I know I have read the first 8 volumes as well, sorry I forgot to mention it. The problem was I didnt want to buy it because Id feel stupid having only vol 7 (well really vol 15) of a series I dont personally own. Well maybe with Christmas money I can get it, and then donate it to the library, but I have other manga to buy! Oh what a dilenma, I really like this too. And I already have 8 and 9 in my possession. Tempting...

www.tokyopop.com has rough outlines of each volume, it should be enough for you to get a picture of what is going on. It might be better to read the first Peach Girl series before moving to Change of Heart, but I read Peach Girl 1, 2 and 5 and then Change of Heart 1-5 and I still understood what was going on. I thought the first 2 volumes were fantastic, especially that evil friend of hers, whose name I don't remember, oh well. But after that it falls into the same shoujo pattern of
-various love troubles
-and stupid misunderstandings (omg, i saw him with another girl, i won't even ask what was going on, i'll just assume stuff and be bitchy and depressed for several chapters, boo hoo -_-)
-and rivals trying to steal either partner
-and ridiculous break-up schemes
-and annoying siblings interfering
-someone tries to rape someone
-etc, etc, etc

Plus they TOTALLY ruined Kiley in Change of Heart, which is one of the main reasons why I stopped reading. I don't even know who Momo ended up with in the end.

I was re-reading Peach Girl recently and I was coming here to rant about it... then I happened to do a search and realized I already ranted about it 3 years ago! And I already said the exact same things I was planning to say. Do I never change? ^_^;;;
