How many episodes will My HiME contain?

The ep guide lists My Hime as 13 episodes, ive watch up to ep 12 and it doesnt seem like its gonna end in the next episode can anyone confirm how many eps this show will run? or if it will be 13 and they will make a season 2 ?

"ep guide", which ep guide? If you mean How Many Episodes: Answered here! (http://forums.animesuki.com/showthread.php?t=156), that's because it's wrong :) At least it was correctly listed on the torrents page (here (http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/370.html)).

goes away and updates number of episodes to 24 while no one is looking...

Anyway, the correct number of episodes is 24. Beleive me, if there was only 12 eps of My HiME, it wouldn't have received it's own forum (which was why series such as Kannazuki no Miko and School Rumble didn't get their own series specific forum).

I'm closing the thread because I think it's existence is only due to a mistake I made, less said the better...

It's been pointed out that My HiME may not be 24 episodes after all but longer.

Here are the details as supplies by Yebyosh (hope you don't mind me repeating the info you supplied).

Actually the episode count for Mai-HiME is 26 episodes :heh:

Yes, but this thread is clearly titled "How many episodes will My HiME contain?" and it's in the My HiME forum :)

I know about the possible length of School Rumble, ep 15 is due to air on 11th, next Tuesday, for some reason I hadn't updated the How Many Episodes: Answered here! (http://forums.animesuki.com/showthread.php?t=156) thread yet. Edit: Oh yes, I remember now why it wasn't updated, there doesn't seem to be any sort of confirmation that it will be 26 eps yet. While it's true it may be correct, the official websites do not show the length of the series yet.

The question asked here is how many eps will My HiME be, it was first listed as 24 but it seems 26 is the correct answer.

xris, I think he mentioned School Rumble's length because you once remarked that length was the reason why Mai HiME got a board of its own while School Rumble and KannaMiko didn't.

There are going to be 26 episodes for My HiME... Plus episodes 1-16 are all ready out on DVD and episodes 17-20 are going to come out on Nov. 14

Quite an old thread. It's been a long time since we had to speculate about the number of episodes that would eventually comprise the Mai-HiME series.

It's no longer specualtion about the future, now it is a fact about the past.

Posting speculation about easily verifiable facts is pointless. (There are several websites devoted to providing such information.) I shouldn't have to close such a thread, but...
