Unbelivable.., honestly.., if you hadn't point it out I would probably have never spotted it..

What do you think it is though.., just a random mistake, or the animators realy joking a bit with us :p
I understand how it was able to pass by, since I belive we all never noticed it aswell.., but to those who where making the drawings.., if its not intentional.., its one hell of a mistake :heh:

Yup, that's a mirror image allright.

What the animators did on that one (probably to save money ^^), was.., they toke the first picture, flipped it arround & did a small change on Shinku's arms and Jun's mouth / expression.

Thing is.., we can tell its a mirror image because of the doors in the background.., if we look at the first picture we see the same doors are in the oposite side where we see them in the one bellow :p
Again.., another little small error ;)

I'm sure that there are alot of people that like Shinku as they're favorite Rozen Maiden.., altough most of us here don't.., I belive Shinku does have qualities to be chosen by someone as beeing favorite.

And the same applies to Sou.., so I guess I simpathize with they're choices.., specialy when it comes to Sou.

But I guess here amongst us Gin & Sui will always be the most favorites :)

The 2 certain dolls I'm talking about are Shinku and Suiseiseki. I mean, which other doll would possibly think of Jun as a prince (on a white horse)?

@Alu sorry for the late message, I am glad you have fixed your PC and I hope you are feeling a lot better. Gosh I am away for a few days and there are 4 pages to read through!

PC names for me are:

Shinku for my main PC
Hina for my laptop and my PDA is called COT (crocadile of truth)

I have to agree with Mince here ;)

In my opinion only two dolls share exactly the victorian posture / aspects & caracteristics, and those are obviously Shinku and Gin.

Shinku well, is by far the most obvious one of course.., she is in fact the one who is dressed in a more "tradional" Victorian dress which we are used to see in porcelain dolls.
Adding this and that she is the only one with her own Tea set.., plus the manners & posture clearly indicate us that Shinku out of all the dolls is the one who possesses the bigest "princess" aspects.

Never the less though.., and since I also agree on the fact that each Rozen Maiden has her pair.., much like Sui & Sou, Kana & Hina, etc..
Shinku's pair is without a doubt Gin.., so naturaly its certain that Gin also possesses a Victorian attitude.

Altough not much in the same style of cloathing.., but still I find that irrelevant on this aspect; specialy since to me Gin's dress has always been the one which costume-wise was perfectly designed, when compared to all the other's.
We still see though alot of caracteristics in Gin that give her those "princess" aspects.

Take a note though.., when I say "princess" here, I refer to it as beeing a person who upholds most of the Victorian manners & principles and also atittude.., not "princess" as in some spoiled brat :p

So Gin's attitude is clearly one of arrogance and irony.., we most see this for example in episode 6 when she fights with Shinku and in many other scenes aswell.

Gin herself upholds a very stiff posture.., not letting out any frail emotions.., or in other words, she lets out a extreamly cold attitude (altough we know that she inside holds other feelings - but it was only when she was defeated by Shinku that those came out).

Another important aspect on her posture is her ability to insult (sort of speak :p), in which during the episode on ~Traumend~ where she enters Shinku's N-field and starts the Alice Game.., if you observe carefully the geastures that Gin makes are purely of someone with a Victorian personality.

First she appears before Shinku, she then makes a curtsey, gracefully then picks up her Tea Cup..., and then spills it on the floor..; to me.., these actions are simply perfect to describe Gin's "princess" attitude, in a yet very arrogant & Ironic tones, but still even more then beautifull.

So.. we can clearly say that yes.., all should hail her majesty : Princess Gin-sama :D

I belive many did on a couple of scenes.., I for myself can say that realy made me feel for what was happening and even shead a tear on some ocasions.

Scenes as.. when Jun steps in to protect Sui from Gin, when she fires Lempicka at her.. - and then after seeing Jun sustain all that pain just to protect her and then she finaly screams his name for the first time realy got to me..

Another was of course the final moments of Gin on season one when she was defeated by Shinku.., her words, her emotions.., it was all portrayed so perfectly tears realy came to my eye when I saw it..

And one last was definitly when Hina stopped aswell.., altough I was never very fond of Hina.., those final moments between Tomoe and her I belive can make anyone cry..
They just portraied them in such a sad way.., specialy when Tomoe breaks out and cries while holding Hina.., it realy was a extreamly touching moment.
And not many or should I say.. almost none can make me realy cry as this one made.

Just goes to show how amazing Rozen Maiden is of a Anime..., or even.. a story for that matter.

For Kirakishou's case I think otherwise. I prefer to think that Kira have one eye missing and that she have a white rose to cover that empty eye hole.

Being the 7th and the final doll to be made by Rozen, there is a high chane that something happened to Rozen that he did not complete Kira, that is he didn't put one more eye.

Now it's also highly likely that Gin-chan and Stinku are some of the earliest doll to be awaken. It is also possible that Gin-chan is the one that put on the Rose on Kira's eye hole. Given how sensitive the term Junk means to Gin-chan and all Rozen Maiden are infact sisters (thus sisterly love maybe involved), Gin might have put on the Rose eyepatch on Kira as a sort of sympathy since she felt that both of them are Junks before leaving to hunt down Stinku.

Shortly after Gin's departure, Kira should be the 3rd ones to be awaken.

Some old folklore that if you have a strong feeling for a doll, it will come alive one day.

Given how strong the term Junk meant to Gin-chan, part of the feeling towards Kira (sympathy + sisterly love) may have transfered to Kira, thus awakening Kira without any key winding. And the feelings that gave Kira life also made her sympatise and habouring love for Gin-chan (Although the love is sadly in a psychotic way).

Kira's involvement in the death of Hina Ichigo was maybe a dedication to Gin-chan. (Chapter 34)

Kira on later chapter visted Gin she said, "My poor Onee-sama (sympathy), My beloved Onee-sama (affection)" (Around Chapter 35~36)

Later she took out her Rozen Mystical right infront of Gin. (Around Chapter 35~36) Which hints that how far Kira would go for her Gin Onee-sama

Is ok if you don't look at the spoilers. However I felt that Kira feeling towards Gin-chan maybe a very dangerous sort of love to a point that anything that hinders Kira's love for Gin is her enemy. This will put Megu in serious danger since Gin-chan now spends most of her time with Megu. Kira would find Megu an obstruction and must be killed, while Gin-chan of course would protect Megu from harm's way. Given Kira's psycho nature, she would think that Gin had being controlled against her will by the *evil evil* medium Megu and will try all sorts of tricks, schemes and methods to *save* Gin. Of course this is all Kira's wild psycho imagination, but to her it's actually what's happening at the moment.

My impression for Kira in manga that she's a psycho stalker doll. (You should know who she's stalking after all the crap I've been writing) And I intent to stick by it until future chapters or the 3rd season prove me wrong.

Most possibly Roots and Stems and more Roses grew on the empty eye hole after wearing that Rose for so long. :p

It's moot with the anime. The manga is a good reference, but we have seen that the anime has seriously deviated from the manga, so it's still debatable.
I always take Manga as a priority before Anime in terms of story (Manga > Anime storywise). However personality of dolls comparision of Manga and Anime are more or less equal (Traumend is the most equal towards the manga in terms of personality), Kira's personality in Season 3 (if aired) should match with Manga.

Yes, I dont know how you guys define crying; but if it means tears coming out of eyes, yes I did cry at that scene. In fact; and most of the regulars here will be tired of hearing this: I came close to crying whenever they showed Hina doing something mature or sad or meaningful because I got spoiled about her death. Made me really appreciate Hina all the more, it actually enhanced the series. I also cried for SuiseiSeki in S2, starting from her rejection by Sou, especially at the Sou death scene and the aftermaths.

I came close to crying at the end of S1, in the cloth-house when Shinku goes "I'm not perfect anymore..."

And yes, thats what makes a show wonderful. In part, the ability to make you laugh and make you ache.

I also share this point of view.., specialy given the fact that I always thought that if there is a season 3.., it will definitly be Alot more " Dark " & emmotional then ~Traumend~ was..

The path is all done for what can be some tremendously dark episodes through the story.., these of course, involving all the characters in Rozen Maiden.

So naturaly I have to agree with mostely everything that Flo said.., altough there is no way for us to confirm when or how Kira was awakened, Flo's speculation regarding the Rose and her affection for Gin realy fits the story perfectly.., and specialy Kira's personality aswell.

I do not think that Rozen Maiden will have a tragic end, even though those much like the one in Chrno Crusade are the ones I like best..., I belive it will have a "peacefull" ending.

Never the less ! Be ready for Alot of tragedy until the story ends.., for.., that I am realy positive that even up until the final moments of the end.., Alot of it will definitly happen..

Doesn't all this it just make you want a season 3 right away :p

Kira made at the same time as Gin is possible but high unlikely because this means that Kira is not the 7th doll created. (Kira would be either the 2nd or the 3rd)

EDIT: Added manga reference.

Suigintou in manga is a complete doll but confirms herself as an ugly creation/Junk because of the cracks at her back due to her wings (I'm made to believe that her wings are a defect through alchemic properties) <-[will be covered on the following spoiler tag], but nontheless a complete doll. 2th to 6th doll are complete as well. Kirakishou being Rozen's latest (7th) creation makes more sense that Kira was left incomplete.

Its possible, its possible.., I too have the feeling that Gin was present through the awakening of "most" of the Rozen Maiden.., but not all.

Reasons for this are.., in ~Traumend~ and Shinku says it herself.. (altough counting with Bara beeing the 7th), " this is the First time that All the Rozen Maiden are awakened at the same period " - " giving the indication that Father does desire the Alice Game to begin ".

So naturaly even though Gin & Shinku have crossed paths the most, up until then there had been no period where All the dolls had been awakened in the same time.
We also see a couple of images of Shinku beeing with Sou, Sui and Hina..., and there is no whereabouts of Gin there.

Also.., for Kira beeing the 3rd to awaken is where I find more dificult to explain.., I do belive and support 100% your speculation regarding How she was able to awake, but thing is.. I belive Rozen created one doll at a time; one after another sort of speak..

So.., in order for such.., as soon as he finished one, before moving on to the next in his search to maybe reach Alice, he would naturaly awaken her.

In the flashback we saw of Shinku's first awakening, we saw that Gin was present as beeing the first doll.., but we then also saw that Sou and Sui where present aswell..
Thing is.., the whereabouts of Kanaria are not given to us..

So leads me to belive that Rozen did in fact kept all the Rozen Maiden he created until he decided to set them free.., thus giving the possibility that weather one would choose to assist the awakening of her new sister or not would be one's choice.

Which would explain why Kana was not present on the awakening of Shinku.., and Gin naturaly was.., but never the less.. this also indicates that Kira was the last to be awakened...
Clearly before Rozen had set the others free to pursay Alice on they're own.., Gin might have then at that moment did the things you said regarding Kira.

Thus leaving her to awaken.., but in last..
Altough there is no real possible way that I can confirm this.., and its clearly all speculaction on my behalf.

Kira made at the same time as Gin is possible but high unlikely because this means that Kira is not the 7th doll created. (Kira would be either the 2nd or the 3rd)

Suigintou in manga is a complete doll but confirms herself as an ugly creation/Junk because of the cracks at her back due to her wings (I'm made to believe that her wings are a defect through alchemic properties), but nontheless a complete doll. 2th to 6th doll are complete as well. I think that that hate would have to come over time. Rozen just wouldnt make his first doll and then immediately declare her to be :love: when there were more to come. Plus Gin would need time to see Rozen showing that favouritism to Shinku. ~ Assuming such a time was needed.. plenty of time not to give favouritism to Kira -- wait. I think I just solved the problem of Kira being the last to be created. By then Gin could have developed that Junk complex. Kira wouldnt need to be awakened 2nd/3rd.

edit: Just saw Alu's post. Yes, Kira wouldnt need to be awakened just after Gin. Gin after would require time to acquire that hate for Shinku. Time enough for the creation of 3rd-7th dolls, or if your view is correct, Alu, time for the discovery and awakening of Kira.

Clearly something had to go tremendously rong for Rozen having not awakened Kira.., since we know he was the first to awaken all the other dolls (or we are positive in what relates to Gin, Sou, Sui & Shinku).

Even not beeing compleat (in the Anime) Gin was awakened by Rozen.., and if what you said here now happened; in what if Rozen was the one to place the Rose in her eye temporarly while he went to fetch more.. clearly disregards the possibility that Gin was the reason why Kira awoke, and that Gin was the one who placed the Rose in her eye.

So.., I do belive that Rozen himself in fact chose not to finish nor awaken Kira.., reasons for this are unknown.., but its possible it has to do with her phsycological instability..

Never the less this is where your first theory then makes sence.., Gin realised this and also the fact that she was not finished.., thus placing the Rose in her eye and showing the affection/simpathy for what happened to her.
Which then would be the reasons why Kira awoke.

For what you say regarding her beeing awaken I still belive she was the last in the list.., since she was not even awaken by Rozen herself; altough.., after Rozen then departed.., I guess all the dolls went to sleep.., and that was the moment in which Kira awakened..

Since I like first theory better....

Speculations & Theories on Suigintou's jealousy towards Stinku (Manga and Anime wise)

Suigintou and Stinku are one of the first dolls to be awaken, which could mean that Rozen is still around making another Rozen Maiden(s). Rozen may favour his latest creations more that his pervious older creation. (Unproven but possible) This is a beginning of Gin's jealousy. Whatever Gin did to impress Rozen, Stinku always got more attention than Gin and because of that her jealousy grew to hate, and this hate kept growing stronger day by day.

Then came the disappearence of Rozen and the incompleteness of Kirakishou, this is when Gin attacked Stinku and Stinku is forced to escape to survive. At this point of time Gin blames everything on Stinku, including Rozen's disappearence. Her hate reached to a point where Gin sprouts wings [Theory of Suigintou don't have wings in the first place (Refer to Spoiler: 'Theory of the crack on Gin's back.' on post #4304 (http://forums.animesuki.com/showpost.php?p=611905&postcount=4304))] which she of course blame it on Stinku. Before she left the house to hunt Stinku down she stumble across the workshop, with Kirakishou left with one eye missing (She of cos blame Stinku because since Rozen disappeared because of her that he could not completely Kira). Add the sympathy and sisterly love speculation post previously and Gin puts the white rose on her empty eye socket before leaving. (Since the color of the rose fits Kira's clothes and rose are beautiful nonetheless. I hope someone's question has been answered ;) ) Then add the folklore theory and that's about it. :)

I think it's a red rose instead of pink :heh: (Pink is for Hina Ichigo and no one else!) Imagine the spanish bull fighting and Gin as the bull.

The color White is suppose to meant purity. (Taking a look on Kira, it means pure insanity LOL :heh: )

Heck even Gin has two dark colored roses. One on her hair band and the other across her chest

Well in Ep 1 of Traumend weren't most of the dolls are in the same room? So I assume the dolls live in the same house. Kanaria could be somewhere else around the house, possibly at somewhere which how should I say *cultivates* her personality before her awakening perhaps. (Explains her personality in traumend & manga) ;)

Anyway fast forward to the so call present. Where Gin's hate towards Stinku is not so important anymore.

In Traumend, (Possibly) Enju repaired Gin, but due to Enju's suckiness in his skills he messed up Gin's memory bank abit and her negative emotions toward Stinku was somewhat taken away say 50%? :heh: This could also explain Gin's somewhat *disgusted* expressed when she regain her memory when she encounter Barasuishou. And the Megu Virus (aka AIDS but that's a joke I reserved on 4chan :heh: ) also helped reduced her hate.

In manga, it's mostly the Megu Virus... :heh:

We can see how Shinku looses power when Jun is getting the Gin treatment, but I wonder would the maiden just loose her power source, or would something worse happen to them? I am sure someone mentioned something bad happening to Hina's earlier medium in the manga, but I can't remember what...

Well it's confirmed that No Usage Medium = No Power Up. But all dolls have their base powers. Just that Base Power + Making Use of Medium > Base Power alone.

But powers difference aside, Rozen Maidens have the abilities to act and behave like any normal human being, they can think and feel like one. (I believe there's no need to explain this) How would you feel when your beloved got attack and hurt by someone. If Kira did successfully kill Megu, Gin would probably hate Kira for a few lifetimes, something Kira couldn't afford until it's almost<-(delete when applicable) too late.

I have the same thoughts (for example mediums dying of old age etc), but was not too sure if it had been confirmed. I have to admit I am exclusively anime based with RM, I was about to read the manga, but resisted the urge when I heard about all the differences between the two. My plan is to collect the unofficial and official manga and save them until I complete watching RM, so that my vision of RM is not discoloured.... They had better make an S3 quickly since I have nearly crumpled a few times. btw this is the only series I have done this with...

According to all that's been said, speculated and looking in an overall basis on how the story unfolds.., I'd have to say that its very possible for something arround those aspects to happen..

I do have to say.., I clearly see Kira as beeing able to try and take Megu's life without hesitation.., thus making Gin step in and sacrifice herself in order to save Megu, or something arround those lines..

I doubt Gin would be jealous seeing Jun and Megu together, though I think she would feel disturbed, because that would mean she would be seeing Shinku more often, and she won't like that prospect.

So, Kirakishou thinks, loves and respects Princess Suigintou as her Onee-sama? About time her royal highness gets this recognition from one of her sisters. And with Kirakishou being dangerously obssessed with her majesty to the point that she would go as far as offering her Roza Mystica to her majesty puts her in my good books.

I think I would like Kirakishou and put her as my second favorite doll. A doll who loves Gin-sama will always be in my good books.

I hope Kira would be like that in season 3.

Kirakishou’s Dream World, ever changing, ever unpredictable, one moment it was a garden fill with white roses then the next moment it became a cemetery, then it became a ruined city scarred by the battles of WW2 and the list goes on. Kirakishou stood still, staring through the environments as if she watching slide shows. Then all the plane shifting stopped and revealed the hospital. Not just any other hospital, Kirakishou stared at one particular window and saw a girl in a patient uniform on a bed singing a song while gothic winged doll sitting on the window. Kirakishou stared at the duo, particularly the winged doll before the scene of hospital began to collapse and swallowed by total darkness. Occurrence like this is very rare to Kirakishou; in fact it’s almost non existent. She turned around with a sadistic smile that could rival a psychopath and large cold eyes that could send chills to the spine as she greet the intruder, Barasuishou.

“It seems that I have a new playmate” A cold monotone voice exited Kirakishou’s mouth, maintaining her ‘psychotic’ expression.

“It seems that I have a new playmate” Replied Barasuishou, matching Kira’s face.

Kira: "Who might you be?"

Bara: "Who might you be?"

Kira: "I’m Rozen Maiden’s 7th doll, Kirakishou."

The darkness started to materialize, revealing a large ball room. Barasuishou wasted no time and launches a first strike unleashing her crystal geyser on Kirakishou but was dodged with relative ease. Barasuishou increased the frequency of her crystal attacks, Kirakishou’s evasion quickened however it seems that the 7th Doll refused to attack and only concentrate on dodging and defense. As the duel heated up, Kirakishou still dodges but the ball room was filled with crystals movement became a serious issue. Barasuishou finally found an opportunity and launched one more crystal geyser; with no room to evade Kirakishou received the attack, followed by another crystals geyser and another until Kirakishou fell to the ground where Barasuishou stood, holding her crystal sword.

“Checkmate.” Said Barasuishou as she readied her sword, about to perform the finishing strike on the beaten Kirakishou. That was when Kirakishou grab Barasuishou by the leg.

“Checkmate.” With that, Kirakishou released her hand off Bara’s leg. Out of nowhere thorny rose vines burst out from the ground where Barasuishou stood, piecing her all over. Kirakishou stood up to see the motionless doll cover with vines, giving off the same psycho expression when she greeted Barasuishou when she was still ‘alive’. Kira then noticed that all the crystals Bara used to attack Kira slowly disappears, revealing another Barasuishou. However this time it isn’t just one, but 6 Barasuishou standing in front of her.

“More playmates” Kira’s smile widens and began to attack.

??? : "Kirakishou, that’s enough."

Kira halted her action and turned to the direction of where the familiar voice came from; Shirosaki, or better known as the Demon of Lapace. Behind him was the man who is responsible for the creation of Barasuishou and Rozen’s student, Enju, who’s pressing a knife on Shirosaki’s back but was careful not to stab him.

Shirosaki: *smiles* "My my, it’s been a long time Enju. I’m rather surprise that you would visit me and Kirakishou in the House of Asylum. But I doubt you’re here just to have a nice chit-chat, so what brings you here?"

Enju: "Revenge, on my Master, and his accursed dolls. And you are going to help me achieve that."

Shirosaki: *faking shock while smiling* "Oh my, but my dear Kirakishou is also one of Sir Rozen’s creations."

Enju: *evil doer smile* "Not to worry, she’s useful to me, for now…"

On the bed lay a young girl of the early 10s with long sliver hair wearing a white Victorian dress, starts to shaken. Her eyelids slowly open, revealing her glimmering violet pupils and she was greeted by birds, kittens, puppies and other animals as she sat up. Meh another long night. Not offering another discussion, rather a prototype fic I made. I call it Rozen Maiden: Wiederbelebung (Wiederbelebung means revival in german ) This happens after Traumend and it'll have some Manga twist in it, but alas it's only a prototype fic meaning it's highly likely that I may leave it to rot. Comments and Questions are welcomed.

Rozen Maiden: Wiederbelebung

Prologue

Kirakishou’s Dream World, ever changing, ever unpredictable, one moment it was a garden fill with white roses then the next moment it became a cemetery, then it became a ruined city scarred by the battles of WW2 and the list goes on. Kirakishou stood still, staring through the environments as if she watching slide shows. Then all the plane shifting stopped and revealed the hospital. Not just any other hospital, Kirakishou stared at one particular window and saw a girl in a patient uniform on a bed singing a song while gothic winged doll sitting on the window. Kirakishou stared at the duo, particularly the winged doll before the scene of hospital began to collapse and swallowed by total darkness. Occurrence like this is very rare to Kirakishou; in fact it’s almost non existent. She turned around with a sadistic smile that could rival a psychopath and large cold eyes that could send chills to the spine as she greet the intruder, Barasuishou.

“It seems that I have a new playmate” A cold monotone voice exited Kirakishou’s mouth, maintaining her ‘psychotic’ expression.

“It seems that I have a new playmate” Replied Barasuishou, matching Kira’s face.

Kira: "Who might you be?"

Bara: "Who might you be?"

Kira: "I’m Rozen Maiden’s 7th doll, Kirakishou."

Bara: "Kirakishou…I’m my father’s finest masterpiece, Barasuishou."

Somehow in season 3, if Kirakishou is indeed has an affection for Gin, Suigintou will likely reject Kirakishou and cause Kira to go into a stronger version of insanity which may kill Gin by accident and Shinku will be forced to kill Kirakishou.

Then in a dying breath, Kirakishou will say that she is sorry for everything and disappears along with Rozen. Then there will be an epilogue that Shinku becomes Alice and may marry Jun.

And Rozen and Kirakishou could be dancing in the N-field with Laplace watching.

Anyways, those are my thoughts.

And speaking about marriage, I think this should happen, to make it amusing:

Rozen comes a-knocking at Jun's front door (polite). Nori greets him and lets him enter. Jun and dolls see Rozen and were shocked. Rozen greets them. Suiseiseki makes tea for the 'guest' while Shinku and Jun sits in living room with Rozen. They talked for a while, then Rozen says, "Sakurada Jun, I want you to be my son-in-law."

Jun sits there, stunned, his teacup hanging in midair.

As much as I'm indifferent to Gin, I dont want her to die again. Its getting irritating. And I feel that like the other dolls, Gin is essential to the concept of RM, so I dont want her to die, or if she has to again, she better come back like she always does.

I went arround 7xx's posts back and found something I had then posted regarding a possible end for season 3;

Given all the discussion regarding Gin's fate in it.., I still feel though and specialy even more after reading Flo's points of view on the storyline - particulary to the aspects regarding Kira's phsyche & Gin's role in it.., that something arround these lines has more and more a great change in happening :

its possible that more Rozen Maiden will "die" before the end, but that just sort of builds the foundations for what I think will happen.

Its possible that Gin will sacrifice herself for Shinku once more in a battle vs Kira, taking Kira along with her though..; so after I supose and given the emphasis on Shinku through the series.., that Shinku finds another way to become Alice, and actualy does in fact..

But allas she is not able to restore any of the Rosa Mystica of either Sou, Hina, possibily Gin ? Sui ? Kana ?..

So.., she finaly meets with Father.. but at that moment she realises what is more important.., even though she is now Alice.., she cannot stand and let her sisters lifeless like that..

So somehow she adbicates beeing Alice and finds a way, or makes all her sisters alive again.

This concludes that even though Shinku now became a doll again.., she has become even more Pure then "the perfect girl".., and Father certanly has seen this aswell.

In the end with all the aspects and emotions that each have learned and learn to deal with, they all became "Alice" in a way..

This is not however.. taking any significant roles on behalf of Gin..

Because much like you Lost, I too agree that Gin is absolutley essencial to the Story.., and her development in season 3, either would it be a sacrifice or something else.., it clearly will have a Tremendous effect on how it unfolds towards the end.

That I am absolutly positive about it :)

I think Enju won't ever return, but there is going to be a very high probability that in Season 3, Gin-sama would try to change Megu's mindset, by hook or by crook, maybe even attempt to drag Shinku to help (though she would have to hang herself afterwards) when she exhausts her options, while trying to deal with a stalker of a sister (aka Kirakishou).

And Kirakishou will be stalking her royal highness wherever she goes.

Or maybe Kirakishou will end up as a permanent resident in the church (hospital if the church is demolished). That may lighten up Megu's mood a little seeing that now there are two dolls visiting her (there is a high probability that she finds Kirakishou's "Onee-sama" antics amusing), though Gin-sama would had to deal with Kirakishou's psychoness whenever they visit Megu and will be insisting to Megu that Kirakishou IS NOT A PSYCHO.

I really got this urge to join here after reading all the pages from the first one.

I completely enjoyed both RM and RM:T. Favourite doll is of course Gin-sama who has converted me to drinking Yakult again :D Waiting for season 3, Gin to become Alice/marries Megu/both.

Have nothing to contribute right now though, but from what I saw in the HiME/Otome thread there is a popularity contest on 2ch on Moe-ness or something like that. Shinku dominated round 6 :twitch:

I hope Hina comes back, at least she matured than Kana.

If it's a showdown between Suiseiseki and Kirakishou, I will stick with Kirakishou (because I'm a Kira fanboy) and we do not know Kirakishou's full extent of her power. If it comes down to that, Kirakishou will gladly give Suiseiseki a little kiss to put her in her place. Barasuishou already proved full immunity to all of Suiseiseki's vine attacks, since Bara is a copy of Kira, I wonder how will Suisei even come close to Kira.

Then again, Kirakishou may not be a fighter-type and may lose to Suiseiseki on raw power. But Kirakishou seems to be based on "critical attacks" and will use them to win.

Since all villains have a proper melee weapon, I wonder what weapon will Kirakishou have.

Actually, I blame Enju, he was the one that made Barasuishou. He made her without a conscience. But at least, he made her beautiful. Poor Barasuishou, she died the worst out of all the dolls (probably slightly better than Hina's death in the manga)

Kanaria protecting it for a while before getting stabbed is brilliant! Oh well, I agree a bit with you on the Suiseiseki part but even if Suiseiseki was completely focused and got a power boost from Jun, she will be able to hold off Barasuishou for a short while but not beat Bara, (episode 4) but Barasuishou would come back with a vengeance that will end up in Suiseiseki's death anyways.

I hope that Barasuishou comes back in season 3 and team up with Kirakishou. I would <3 that moment!

Jun brushing Shinku's hair is the cutest scene I had ever seen, after Suigintou's "You shouldn't call yourself Junk" with Megu.

Too bad not enough of that in season 2. It will be real cute if he brushes Shinku's hair every morning.

Maybe we should add that to Season 3 wishlist.

That was truly the definitive scene of S1. Shinku finally going dere-dere on Jun. Beautiful.

Well, since this thread has become quite the image thread, I would like to ask a favour from my fellow fans.

I'm looking for a vectorable shot of Souseiseki; with her having a melancholy expression (in the vein of her separation from Sui, and her defeat) on her face. Also, it'll be great if it showed her head slightly turned, as if looking behind her. Altho, if thats too much to ask, I'll settle for any melancholic pics of Sou.

So could anyone just look thru your RM collection? Scans and screenshots preferably (shots with subtitles are fine), but if its your vector and you dont mind me copying it, thats okay too. Or if you remember a scene in RM:T with Sou looking like that, just giving me the ep number and time frame would be wonderful.

if you really want the figure you need to get on the preorder asap. once SR DX items are released they are almost never reprinted and obtaining a copy wont come without really inflated prices. cant say for sure though, there seems to be alot of the kanaria figures available at the moment so maybe there will be a big production run. u can preorder here, i got mine in, its a little expensive though type suiginto in the search http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/

Jupiter=King of the gods=Rozen
It's obvious why he's Jupiter: he created the Rozen Maiden. He is the one who all the Rozen Maiden look up to and worship.

Juno=queen of the gods=Shinku
Some might disagree with me and say that Suigintou should be considered the queen since she was the first Rozen Maiden to be created. Suigintou would have been the queen if she cared more about her sisters and not just herself (she did afterall wanted to kill the others to become Alice) and Megu .

Why is Shinku the queen? Even though she is a perfectionist and overbearing at times, she is the most queenly of all the Rozen Maiden. The other Rozen Maiden, minus Kirakishou and Suigintou, look up to her for guidence. The few times she lost control of her anger were mostly for good reasons (i.e. trying to save her sisters), and she acts very ladylike.

Uranus=god of the sky=Suigintou
Suigintou does have wings, so why not make her Uranus (to bad she doesn't use it since she can't hold food in her stomach). I see Uranus as someone who is majestic like a hawk in flight, and just like a hawk she's deadly when she attacks. Suigintou is also a very beautiful sight to behold.

Saturn=god of agriculture=Souseiseki
Souseiseki faithfully tends to her master's soul tree like a farmer tends to his crops. Even though Saturn is the father of Jupiter, Souseiseki isn't a boy but a girl (gender confused one at that) and didn't give birth to Rozen (that would be a time paradox).

Venus=goddess of love=Suiseiseki
Even though Venus should be all about love, she is rather jealous of couples who are in love and enjoys causing problems between those couples. Venus loves a lovers' quarrel. Suiseiseki is the Rozen Maiden who has the most love for her sisters, though she prefers to keeps those feelings hidden by covering them up by creating chaos.

Minerva=goddess of wisdom and war=Kanaria
Kanaria is the smart one, isn't she? Kanaria loves to ambush her opponents, though her ambushes fail miserably. Why hasn't she escaped from the clutches of that insane woman Mi-chan? Maybe Kanaria's not so smart, afterall ~kashira!

Bacchus=god of wine and intoxication=Hinaichigo
Hinaichigo doesn't drink wine though she certainly gets a rush whenever she eats something that is white, soft, and unyuu. She's also a bundle of joy when she's having fun. Thank the gods she doesn't enjoy orgies.

Vulcan=god of craftsmanship=Jun
Jun is a master at sewing. Plus he explodes like a vulcano when he's angry.

Furies=goddess of vengeance=Barasuishou
Barasuishou was created to destroy the Rozen Maiden so that her father Enju would finally prove that he was greater than Rozen.

Mars=god of war=Kirakishou
She's a basketfull of serial killers rolled up into one. 'nuff said.

Im saying, it wont be scary if a bad guy is scary or freaky cause u no... their the bad guy. It would be awkward if the good dolls like Hina or Kana looked like zombies or evil ~ cause ... u no ... their the good dolls. And it would put a bad impression on the good dolls.

Suiseiseki does a good job cheering up and making fun of others. Yesh, she has the tendency to always fool and make fun of Hina. But overall she's always fun to be around. And besides, she did a good job saving Kana's but in the 11th episode.

She is not a lady-like... she IS a lady. Cool temper, kindness, power, beautifulness, she is the most balanced amond the gold and has all the qualities.
But when she loose temper, she is terrific (ask Gin how a mad Shinku can hurt hu hu... :))She IS Alice somewhat and Rozen's favourite. She deserved to be the Queen :)

And I don't Agree for Gin.

If in season 3, there be a show down between Suiseiseki and Kirakishou, who would win? (Since they both use vines) And will Suigintou toughen up and continue shieking her annoying laugh? Well... we just have to wait for season 3. T_T

In my opinion Kira would definitly win.., not taking away the fact that she now has Sou and Hina's Rosa Mysticae.., but if Bara was that powerfull and she was only a fake.., we can only imagine how far Kira's power realy go..

There is however some if's in this speculation..
We never know if Bara had that so much power because she was constantly using Enju as her source, this of course would imply that she had made a contract with him.., or something similar.
Enju beeing a Maestro, and we have seen from Jun's example.., they are extreamly capable of transmiting a tremendous amount of power towards the doll whom they had done a contract with.

Of couse Sui is indeed powerfull when using Jun's power, we did see her stand her ground vs Bara in the N-field, and then again in the final battle; and even though she lost while trying to save Kana.., I do not belive she would be capable of defeating Bara on her own.

This also because.., power levels aside.., Sui is the shyest of all the Rozen Maiden..., and she said it herself.., she has not desire to fight; which makes her "soft" in a way.., she lacks the determination to acomplish the end in battle, more or less what Gin has :p

Never the less though.., on the final battle she entered willingly, as she wanted to take back Sou's Rosa Mystica.., but even so.., even if this determination was there then at that moment.., Sui is just unable to be as Cold in battle to win..; thus if she ever defeated Gin, she would probably ask her to return Sou's Rosa Mystica first instead of killing her right away.

Something that well.., Bara has no problems doing.., and I'm sure as hell Kira doesn't either :p

@ Flo : those are amazing scans from the Manga.., I knew Rozen Maiden in Manga was pretty nice.., but those pictures just blew me away :D

So Gin realy killed her last medium.., impressive.., and that look on her face.., it realy demonstrates how "dark" Gin realy is..

Realy nice fan-made cover Mince.., altough it is not official from Peach Pit as Flo previously said.., I myself realy like the way Jun was designed there..

They made him look alot older and serious.., something that according to the intro on ~Traumend~, seeing as we an Older Jun drinking Tea with Shinku there.., I was expecting it would take a small jump in time before it started.
Maybe that will happen when season 3 is out, who knows :)

To a doll, as Shinku said.. the most precious feeling is when someone coams her hair, so that moment when she allowed Jun to do so.., it realy gaved us a in-sight on how by the end of Season 1 Shinku realy came to love Jun :)

Unfortunately, I had to agree on Gin. She happens to be the only doll capable of flight outside of the N-field (just like Barasuishou is capable of trans-location outside the N-field), so yeah, of all the dolls, she commands the skies.

Not to mention, despite being the evil, psychotic, depressed and hateful doll we all loved, her design is nothing short of magnificent. Beauty added with a great dress design, and has lady-like qualities (though more on the spiteful side), she fits the description of being 'Majestic'.

And she is, by season 2, more concerned of Megu than fighting Shinku. If she is only obssessed with killing Shinku and nothing but that, she would had went on and drain Megu dry of energy, thus killing her, with no regrets nor hesitation. She is not only full of hate and jealousness, she does show that she has loving, caring and compassionate side, though she only shows that to Megu.

Nice Suigintou sculpture BTW.

@Alu: I know it is fanart, seeing that it doesn't really match the art style of the anime artists. And beside, 'augment' isn't even a German word. I just think it is amusing so I posted it here.

And if Barasuishou said to Suigintou that to save Megu, she had to sacrifice her Roza Mystica that episode, I think she might actually do that. To her, nothing matters more than the well-being of her loved ones.

That's an anime POV. In manga Gin is just a freeloader in Megu's ward since day one of the encounter and was slowly brain washed from there (similar Junk mentality -> Gin can't comprehen why this particular human have this thinking -> Megu unconciously brain wash Gin from there -> Gin lvl up! Max HP +150, Max MP +100, STR +1, DEX +2, LUK +1 -> Gin gain new skill, "Sympathy (Passive)"), but I guess it was a good thing. If Gin have not met Megu she would had continue to kill her mediums.

Megu is the best thing to happen to Gin-sama. That's where all her character development comes from.

Well, I still thinks it is pure love. She will do anything for those she loved, like in Season 1, she fought because she wanted Otou-sama's affection, and thinks that being Alice is the only way to get that. In season 2, she is willing to risk her life for Megu.

I have to agree with Mince here..

Gin's primarily motives are all love-driven, this of course.. Shinku hatred aside; altough she had those issues with her.., he mainly reason for wanting to take part in the Alice Game was to become Alice to then earn Father's Love.., taking out Shinku was just a bonus point sort of speak..
But one she never the less.. realy wanted :p

Thus.., when she found Megu.., at first she developed compassion towards her, for Megu shared many of the same feelings as her, but allas Megu had already given up on life, while Gin held on to her Anger to give her strengh to pursue the Love she desired.

Upon seeing this, Gin clearly reaslised that Megu resembles her inner-self, a self that realy wished to be saved and altough she would never admit it.., she embraced the cause of saving her.. as in.., also saving herself inside.

Making this a feeling much more pure then love I belive.., she was then not fightning for Father or to become Alice.., but for someone she saw herself in.

Here we have Suigintou who decides to take a little holiday away from Megu's ward but have a nice seat outside of the ward (Dolls need their own personal freedom too!). Megu keep calling out to Gin chan and was not successful. This pissed Megu off and threw a vase.

Alerted teh nurse and ask Megu what's wrong. Megu said it's nothing serious and told nurse to leave since her shift is almost done. Nurse say time is not a problem to her (she wants the OT pay IMO lol) and Megu throwing a vase isn't like her.

Dumb move by the nurse, Megu demands to know what nurse mean by "like her" and cue stuff that you don't understand Megu bla bla bla. Then throw another vase (omfg the vase respawn itself lol) and tell the nurse to get out of her ward.

Then Megu's father came. Megu gave him a "Fuck You!" session for being born with a shitty health and a shit life and stuff about being dead b4 daddy leave and Megu breaking into tears and cry herself to sleep.

Now since Gin loves her father above all else and hearing Megu saying all the stuff bout her daddy. Gin would have a ton of reeducation to do for Megu about children<->parent love. :p

Btw Dark if you can stare at your AV for hours it can help to improve eyesights. :)

BT'd the raws, all Japanese language which I 98% of the time don't know what are they talking about and can understand 80% of what's happening. But deleted vol 1 - 5 after reorganization of Hard Drive space. Planning to purchase the manga (Chinese Language) very soon.

Megu's insecurities is what cause her to be like that. The truth is no one (and I stress no one) can 100% accept their fate of death knocking on your doorstep at anytime. (Kana: Little Sister taught me that lesson well)

No really that AV can help improve eyesight, but I think certain requirement must be met.
