A more disturbed Megu. This is a recipe for a good character development arc!

And I can understand Megu's attachment to Suigintou. She is, after all, Megu's only constant companion in the ward.

And Suigintou sitting outside the hospital ward. Won't the nurses notice her or something? Or they already knew about Suigintou and had no problems with her hanging in the hospital.

No one in the White Prison except Megu knew the existant of the Rozen Maiden Suigintou. Because she's always out of human eyes' reach

mmm.. so Mit-chan finds Jun's old scrap-book with his clothing designs.., I wonder if this will happen in season 3 and if there will be any mencione to Jun's old teacher aswell.

And altough it may seem like a nice relation between Jun and Mit-chan.., I definitly don't belive they will end up together.., apart from becoming good friends that is :p
Mit-chan seems just crazy over his skills, much like she does with the Rozen Maiden ^^

Perhaps she saw Gin as a salvation, more or less like she did in the Anime (as in asking Gin to take her life), but she then probably got too much attatched to her, maybe due to Gin's encouragements, in which her burst out against the nurse would imply that she does no longer wish to remain silent upon the injustice she feels has been placed upon her, and then as the Manga scan Flo posted also demonstrates.., maybe nothing more means as much as Gin to her... hence.. the relatively phsycotic angst for waiting to be with her, Always.., and nothing else matters.

This is just my head going wild on speculations though :p

Rozen Maiden: Wiederbelebung Chapter 1 is up, well at least part of the chapter is up.

Sakurada Residents, late at night.

Just another night for Sakurada Jun and his porcelain freeloaders, it’s been 2 months since that fateful incident, which had cost Shinku, Suiseiseki and Kanaria (And maybe Suigintou) the lost of their 2 sisters, Hina Ichigo and Souseiseki. For 2 months Jun and gang are finding ways to revive them by searching their missing Rozen Mystical, Kashibawa Tomoe would also drop by to help out but so far no such luck.

But still they didn’t give up hope and life went on as usual, and sleep was no exception. Jun was on his bed while Shinku and the dolls were in their suitcases, the night was peaceful and quiet, until…

*Glass shattering*

The sound of broken glass woke Jun up but not entirely.

Jun: *Still half awake* *Yawn* “What happened….burglary?”

It was until something out of the bed that fully awaken Jun and enough racket to wake up the dolls.

Jun: *Stumble off the bed* “Wh-wh-what the heck?” *Wear his glasses and took a close look at the object* “Crystals?”

Shinku: *Opens her suitcase* “Jun! What’s going on?”

Suiseiseki: *Opens her suitcase* “Chibi Ningen it’s too noisy ~desu!”

???: “Sou…it’s too noisy……~desu…”

Jun and the dolls turned to where the voice came from and couldn’t believe their eyes.

Jun: “N-nani?”

Suiseiseki: “I-It’s impossible ~desu…”

Shinku: “Bara…suishou…”

Barasuishou stood at the broken window holding two suitcases; both belonging to Souseiseki and Hina Ichigo and with them inside.

Suiseiseki: *Noticed what Bara was holding* “Souseiseki…Chibi Ichigo?” *Angry* “What are you planning to do with them ~desu!!!!”

Barasuishou: *smirk* “A gift…to Otou-sama…”

Shinku: “Otou-sama? You mean Enju?”

Jun: “Enju?”

Barasuishou: "You won’t be needing them anymore…Soon, everything will end..."

Jun: "Everything will end? What do you mean by that?"

Without answering Jun's question Barasuishou flew off, along with Souseiseki and Hina Ichigo.

“Wait!” Shinku and Suiseiseki decided to gave chase but crystals sprouted out from the ground blocking all windows.

Suiseiseki: *Pissed* “Ugh!” *Summons her watering can* “OUT OF MY WAY ~DESU!” *Shoots water at the crystals*

Shinku: “Holie!” *Summons her sugar cane and slash at the crystals*

The two dolls manage to break the crystals but it was already too late. Barasuishou was nowhere to be found, and with that their sisters, Souseiseki and Hina Ichigo were taken away.

Suiseiseki: “Souseiseki….Chibi Ichigo……Tch...” *Threw her watering can in anger* “DAMMIT!”

Shinku: *Crutching her fists* “Barasuishou…”

Nori: *Enters Jun’s room in her underwear and carrying a broom* “Jun-kun, are you hurt?! What happened?!”

Jun: *Looked out at the broken window* "Hina Ichigo...Souseiseki..."

Nay. These are Victorian porcelain dolls we are talking about, not Dutch wives, so I doubt we get any hot doll love in the anime.

At one point I almost made Suiseiseki say, "F**K!" but it's a bad idea to begin with (and very un-Suiseiseki like) so "DAMMIT!" works the best IMO. :heh: Then I tried "DAMMIT ~DESU!" but looks damn so weird I took the desu out. :heh:

At the hospital Suigintou’s eyes opened, woke up sitting at her usual window spot by Megu’s bed. She felt uneasy as she woke up, as if suffered from a bad dream which she could not remember. The winged doll looked at her medium, whose sleeping soundly with her blanket barely covered her waist, then...

Megu: *sneeze*

Suigintou: *Sigh* “Baka…”

Suigintou pulled the blanket to cover up to the shoulders, convinced that the cool breeze woke that made the doll uneasy. Ever since the fake Alice Game incident Suigintou was repaired and remade, she was finally given an abdomen and the cracks behind her back were sealed. Never had she felt so relaxed for a very long time that she could just forget everything that had happened in the past.

Suigintou: *Whisper to herself* “The past…no, there’s something that must not be forgotten.” ‘Shinku…’

The mere thought of that name was always something to be frown upon, at least to Suigintou. No matter how hard she wanted to forgive and forget Shinku, the age old grudge inside her kept screaming…

‘Forgive and forget? Are you insane? Have you forgotten how much you had suffered because of her? Who was the one responsible for that cursed wings on your back? All your devotion and love towards Otou-sama, discarded and thrown away. It’s all because of Shi…’

Suigintou: *Hissed to herself, hands holding her head* “That’s enough! Shut up!”

Megu: Mmm…*Shifted her body a little to the side* Suigin…zzzz

Realized that she almost woke Megu, Suigintou thought it was best to let her sleep in peace and flew off so she could reorganize her thoughts elsewhere without disturbing the others.

With Megu’s companion left her side, Kirakishou emerged from hiding. She gazed at the sleeping girl with evil intent, knowing that killing her would mean a fatal blow to Suigintou physically and emotionally. Already thoughts of torturing Megu before giving her a slow and painful death in the worse possible manner flooded her mind. But she decided to leave Megu alone for now and return to her Dream World, already plotting how to make her introduction to the 1st doll, ‘interesting’.

Lol, I was tempted to write a comedic Rozen Maiden fic based on 'Alice in Wonderland' (more accurately, a parody of Alice in Wonderland, this time, involving Suigintou, Shinku who woke up lying against a tree, Kunkun, Laplace's Demon running while muttering "I'm late! I'm late!" while checking his pocket watch, the smiling fat cat which had Shinku's 'key' in its mouth, etc. etc.), but I realized that I had forgotten quite alot on the story.

Actually the chapter should have ended in a cliffhanger after Gin flew off. But when rereading the whole chapter I became very depress, because I remember the essay where the boyfriend was forced to kill the girlfriend and died protecting the girlfriend from a sniper shot, but she still dies anyway with a another snipershot, I went all depress until the next day. (But I got a B- because it's different from what the others came up with)

I added the Yakult joke to make the story less dark, and to keep me alittle more sane when writing the next chapter.:heh: But the joke has little to do with the story so ignoring it is ok.

I agree with Alu, the yakult thief part felt REALLY out of place; kinda halted the flow of the story ~ dark and depressing is good! :) Megu and Gin interactions was good, liked the putting up blanket part. More is better :D

You add the humour parts to characters like Sui and Kana for example later on.., but still.., giving all that's happened I'd belive Sui would be taking a much more "dark" development aswell.

Sprite is a collection of pictures for a moving picture. As you can see Mario for example, a sprite for him actually pictures only of him on how he moves, jumps, death, etc.

Lol. It isn't exactly excessive to spend on a few thousand on a well-made porcelain doll, though with that sum, you should be able to afford a complete set, which should include a pair of dolls.

I don't know. I might actually spend that sum if I ever come across a very well-made set of porcelain dolls.

Well, thinking about it.....I didn't use to have this much interest in porcelain dolls.....until I watched Rozen Maiden.....

Porcelain dolls used to freak me out big time until RM changed my life. Now I find myself fascinated by them (I have to admit that some of them still freak me out).

Talking about spending money on hobbies and interests (excluding attempts to buy a 747 :D). I guess we all put money aside for anime/manga in general, but who here has a RM fund? I started one (with the agreement of my partner) a while back, when I think it was NightWish who said that they would spend several hundred dollars on a well made RM doll. I realised that I would die if I did not buy one too and $500 (guestimate) is a lot to cough up suddenly so now I have an account that I put aside money every month for when that RM doll appears :)

Even through I really want to see S3 as there are so many unanswered questions, I am also dreading it too. The prospect of no Hina in S3 makes me shudder :upset:

Suigintou quietly sat down on the altar of the church, which resembled the abandon church located near the Hospital Megu was staying when it was still in good condition. No longer was her Dream World the ruined city scarred by the aftermath of war, as she found it too ‘destructive’ for her taste over the past 2 months. Although the church was dim and cold, it was peaceful and had a sense of privacy. (And with cleanliness as an added bonus) Suigintou felt that she could sit forever until she sensed someone disturbing her privacy, hiding in the silhouette of the shadows.

Suigintou: *Irritated by the intrusion* “Show yourself.”

“That I cannot do.” A sinister female voice replied.

Suigintou: “Oh? Then should I force you out of hiding?”

“That won’t be necessary, for I won’t be here long.”

Suigintou: “What do you want?”

“To show you your true nature...”

In a blink of an eye, Suigintou realize she was no longer in the church. She found herself in a bedroom. She could not be certain but it seemed that it was around build around the Victoria age. For strange reasons, she found the place awfully familiar, but have no recollection of her being in here.

Suigintou: “Where is this place?”

“Your past. Can you not remember?” The same sinister voice rang into Suigintou’s ear. The doll looked around, but there was nobody in sight.

Suigintou: *Irritated* “Where are you? And what are you trying to pull?”

“So you really can’t remember. No matter, you will find out soon enough.”

A loud woman’s scream was heard below Suigintou, it came from downstairs. The scream was later cut off by a sound of gut wrenching stab.

Suigintou: “What was that?”

“Why don’t you find out for yourself?” The voice faded as she completing her sentence. Reluctant, Suigintou headed out of the bedroom and was greeted by a familiar corridor, yet she didn’t know why. She walked along the corridor and down the stairs; she then found blood stains on the floor.

Suigintou: (It’s still fresh.)

Suigintou cautiously followed the blood trail until she found bodies of a girl and woman, both wearing Victorian dress soaked in blood and dead. The doll was disturbed, but otherwise unfazed by her findings.

“And now for the grand finale…”

A whimper caught Suigintou’s ears, it’s near by. As she got closer to the source of the sound, she found an adult male, judging by his appearance he looked like he was a noble. The man was cornered at the wall and was shivering in fear, he was afraid of something that was in front of him but Suigintou couldn’t see clearly what. She move closer and from there on, she receive a shock of the lifetime.

Suigintou: “T-that’s…” *Eyes widen* “…me?”

It was another Suigintou, but her face looked different than she was currently. Her eyes were filled with bloodlust and her smile was wicked. The other Suigintou walked closer to the frightened man, who’s begging the doll not to get any closer and cries for help. The doll stop after a few steps, she spoke in a cold tone before expanding her wings

Alt Suigintou: “Good bye forever, my foolish medium.”

The dark wings pierced into the man’s chest, the man let out a sickening screams of pain before the wings were pull out, thus silenced the now dead noble.

Alt Suigintou: “Hee hee…ha ha ha…Ah ha ha ha…HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! AH HA HA HA HA…!”

The maniac laugh sent chills to Suigintou who witnessed what happened, it was cruel and horrid. Totally difference from what she was even before the fake Alice Game. The scene faded and Suigintou was back at the church, now horrified by what she saw. Suigintou was a cold blooded murdering doll in the past? Why she could not recall any of this?

“It’s because your memory was sealed away.” The sinister voice return. By that time Suigintou was too shaken to think rationally.

Suigintou: “WHERE ARE YOU?! SHOW YOURSELF! WHAT ELSE DO YOU KNOW? ANSWER ME!!!”

There was no answer.

Suigintou: “I SAID ANSWER ME!”

All of the sudden the floor Suigintou was standing on crumbled and she fell into a never ending darkness. The last thing the doll heard before the darkness consumed her was…

“We are the same, my beloved Onee-sama.”

The violet eyes snapped open and looks around, it was all bright and white. Suigintou realized she was back at Megu’s ward. Her breaths were shaky and heavy, as if she had a nightmare. No, it was not a nightmare; everything Suigintou witnessed looked and felt real, too real. Megu looked at the doll with worried expression.

Megu: “Suigintou, is everything alright?”

Suigintou: *Voice a little shaky* I-it’s nothing.”

Megu knew Suigintou was not alright, but she knew better than to question her again.

Megu: “If you say so.”

There was a long silence, then…

Suigintou: “Megu…”

Megu: *Turned to Suigintou* “Yes?”

Suigintou: “Sing for me.”

Megu gave a few blinks, before she inhaled and began to sing. Suigintou slow began to relax and calmed down, but no matter how soothing her medium’s song was, what Suigintou saw in the dream world remains fresh on her mind. Then something just hit her, if Suigintou really was a killer in the past, will Megu suffer the same fate as the noble man she saw in her dream? Fear overtook Suigintou’s mind once again.

Meanwhile, Kirakishou look at Suigintou and Megu at a distant, happy at what she saw.

Kirakishou: “Soon, very soon. My beloved Onee-sama…”

A friend of mine have just confirmed to me, I'm yet to check this out. They have confirmed a new OVA to be released later this year, but they didn't go into details about how big this OVA would be. More details are to be reported duting TBS Anime Fest in August 19th

That's true sometimes (I disagree with manga like Love Hina, Yakitate Japan, even DBZ), but the fact remains that the manga goes beyond the anime and is the only place as of now to continue the Rozen Maiden story. Considering how popular this thread is, I would expect at least discussion of the new chapters and the developments of the manga are going. I'm surprised someone at least doesn't have access to the Japanese manga.

If anyone ever wondered how Kana must have felt after having eaten ALL of Shinku's cookiees.., I can now say that I am not part of that group :p

Altough I wasn't forced much like Kana was by Sui.., I still ended up catching some food poisioning upon eating some sea food which had probably gotten sower because of the tremendous heat-wave that is passing by ^^

Thus.., leaving me out cold for the last 2 days..., oh Kana.., how I understand your pain now.. :p

I definitly knew when I was reading it down that you had went for that image.., but I must say Flo.., the way you connected everything to Kira was just perfect.., I absolutly found no flaws through this entire chapter.

It may be my head still spinning or the so dark athmosphere you where able to pull off.., but all and all your doing a great work and I loving it :)

So news of an OVA are definitly certain ? That is GREAT to hear..., finaly.., after waiting so much for some official Peach-Pit comments we are finaly getting a definite asnwer :D

Needless to say that this is the best news I've heard all day so far.., but it only leads me to question what kind of OVA will it be...

Altough despite the fact that some OVA's contain more then 13 episodes, like Hellsing for example..., both of Rozen Maiden series could in this case be considered each an Ova aswell.
Which.., if another would be released.., I at least hope it is another 12 episode continuation of ~Traumend~

If not though.., hopefully it will be some in-sight upon the doll's pasts, and probably then altough not 12 episodes.., it will still be just awsome to see new Rozen Maiden art-work.

Needless to say I can't wait for august 19 now for more news :D

One of the reasons why I dont read the manga; messy + chinese = BAD END. Altho I wouldnt mind giving it a small try if I could find an english translation.

Hey Flo not bad at all plot-wise. I'm a little picky on language but thats me :p Nice.

I'm a little disappointed that its not an announcement for a full 3rd series, however, an OVA will be much better than nothing; and hopefully our wishes will be realised on August 19th.

I however simpathize alot with your words Lost, even though I then placed Hina amongst the last Rozen Maiden in my list.., and still do in fact.., there is no taking away the fact that her character development in ~Traumend~ was indeed extreamly important.

And specialy her end aswell, which has been mencioned countless times as one of "those" moments which made many cry.., and myself included..
Therefor giving all the emotial charge placed upon Hina.., how she came to grew and in the end how she came to "die".., its inevitable we all wish for her to return, if possible that is.

I guess the same could apply to Sou.., but that is just in my prespective, after all.., I always liked Sou as a character alot aswell :)

Now regarding the Hina gif, and as Riker mencioned aswell..., it would indeed make a great signature.., but allas I did check its file size before posting.., and unfortunaly it was only good to sort of emphasise my post regarding your Hina-obsession :)

Altough if anyone can make a A.Suki sig out of it, Please.., your more then welcome to do so.., It definitly deserves to be made into sig :D

Suigintou quietly sat down on the altar of the church, which resembled the abandon church located near the Hospital Megu was staying when it was still in good condition. No longer was her Dream World the ruined city scarred by the aftermath of war, as she found it too ‘destructive’ for her taste over the past 2 months. Although the church was dim and cold, it was peaceful and had a sense of privacy. (And with cleanliness as an added bonus) Suigintou felt that she could sit forever until she sensed someone disturbing her privacy, hiding in the silhouette of the shadows.

Suigintou: *Irritated by the intrusion* “Show yourself.”

“That I cannot do.” A sinister female voice replied.

Suigintou: “Oh? Then should I force you out of hiding?”

“That won’t be necessary, for I won’t be here long.”

Suigintou: “What do you want?”

“To show you your true nature...”

In a blink of an eye, Suigintou realize she was no longer in the church. She found herself in a bedroom. She could not be certain but it seemed that it was around build around the Victoria age. For strange reasons, she found the place awfully familiar, but have no recollection of her being in here.

Suigintou: “Where is this place?”

“Your past. Can you not remember?” The same sinister voice rang into Suigintou’s ear. The doll looked around, but there was nobody in sight.

Suigintou: *Irritated* “Where are you? And what are you trying to pull?”

“So you really can’t remember. No matter, you will find out soon enough.”

A loud woman’s scream was heard below Suigintou, it came from downstairs. The scream was later cut off by a sound of gut wrenching stab.

Suigintou: “What was that?”

“Why don’t you find out for yourself?” The voice faded as she completing her sentence. Reluctant, Suigintou headed out of the bedroom and was greeted by a familiar corridor, yet she didn’t know why. She walked along the corridor and down the stairs; she then found blood stains on the floor.

Suigintou: (It’s still fresh.)

Suigintou cautiously followed the blood trail until she found bodies of a girl and woman, both wearing Victorian dress soaked in blood and dead. The doll was disturbed, but otherwise unfazed by her findings.

“And now for the grand finale…”

A whimper caught Suigintou’s ears, it’s near by. As she got closer to the source of the sound, she found an adult male, judging by his appearance he looked like he was a noble. The man was cornered at the wall and was shivering in fear, he was afraid of something that was in front of him but Suigintou couldn’t see clearly what. She move closer and from there on, she receive a shock of the lifetime.

Suigintou: “T-that’s…” *Eyes widen* “…me?”

It was another Suigintou, but her face looked different than she was currently. Her eyes were filled with bloodlust and her smile was wicked. The other Suigintou walked closer to the frightened man, who’s begging the doll not to get any closer and cries for help. The doll stop after a few steps, she spoke in a cold tone before expanding her wings

Alt Suigintou: “Good bye forever, my foolish medium.”

The dark wings pierced into the man’s chest, the man let out a sickening screams of pain before the wings were pull out, thus silenced the now dead noble.

Alt Suigintou: “Hee hee…ha ha ha…Ah ha ha ha…HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! AH HA HA HA HA…!”

The maniac laugh sent chills to Suigintou who witnessed what happened, it was cruel and horrid. Totally difference from what she was even before the fake Alice Game. The scene faded and Suigintou was back at the church, now horrified by what she saw. Suigintou was a cold blooded murdering doll in the past? Why she could not recall any of this?

“It’s because your memory was sealed away.” The sinister voice return. By that time Suigintou was too shaken to think rationally.

Suigintou: “WHERE ARE YOU?! SHOW YOURSELF! WHAT ELSE DO YOU KNOW? ANSWER ME!!!”

There was no answer.

Suigintou: “I SAID ANSWER ME!”

All of the sudden the floor Suigintou was standing on crumbled and she fell into a never ending darkness. The last thing the doll heard before the darkness consumed her was…

“We are the same, my beloved Onee-sama.”

The violet eyes snapped open and looks around, it was all bright and white. Suigintou realized she was back at Megu’s ward. Her breaths were shaky and heavy, as if she had a nightmare. No, it was not a nightmare; everything Suigintou witnessed looked and felt real, too real. Megu looked at the doll with worried expression.

Megu: “Suigintou, is everything alright?”

Suigintou: *Voice a little shaky* I-it’s nothing.”

Megu knew Suigintou was not alright, but she knew better than to question her again.

Megu: “If you say so.”

There was a long silence, then…

Suigintou: “Megu…”

Megu: *Turned to Suigintou* “Yes?”

Suigintou: “Sing for me.”

Megu gave a few blinks, before she inhaled and began to sing. Suigintou slow began to relax and calmed down, but no matter how soothing her medium’s song was, what Suigintou saw in the dream world remains fresh on her mind. Then something just hit her, if Suigintou really was a killer in the past, will Megu suffer the same fate as the noble man she saw in her dream? Fear overtook Suigintou’s mind once again.

Meanwhile, Kirakishou look at Suigintou and Megu at a distant, happy at what she saw.

Kirakishou: “Soon, very soon. My beloved Onee-sama…”

But hey, any new material is welcome here.

Why isn't the RM manga thread more popular? It's a mystery to me.

But the filler episodes in Rozen Maiden are worth watching unlike filler episodes of other series (i.e. Onegai Twins with their awful "He may be a relative or he may be a stranger repeated a hundred times" episode).

Suiseiseki got junked by Barasuishou in Traumend episode 11. By having Kanaria killed Suiseiseki with a real gun instead of the water gun in episode 5, Kanaria changed the future of Traumend and episode 12 never happened and thus Time Paradox had occured. :heh: :D

The hardest part of the video/episode for me is always when Gin realizes her imperfection is exposed and tries to cover it, despite the fact that she's burning... :upset: That about sums up her character for me.

Edit: Meh need sum ideas for my next chapter, focusing alittle more on Stinku and co. and pinch of ideas for Kira (And yes she's still stalking Gin and Megu)
