Ziv: Besides the fact that it obviously shows the top of her (nonexistant) midsection? Or a pronounced bone structure that doesn't seem to exist in the others dolls? (referenced in the laundry episode)

Yeah her missing part would be really evident, but that would ruin the whole season. That had always bothered me as well. Too human-looking.
after watching the last episode where they show her missing mid-section, I noticed that her upper body does come down a bit in the back, which might explain it. I also noticed that based on that scene, it doesn't look like she could possibly fit into the corset she wears, so it's hard to tell if that scene can be taken as legit.

Yes exactly.., Gin's Torso (or what's missing) has a very peculiar line with diferent angles..

As you could see from the screenshots.., if you look closely you can see that on the left & right side her Torso goes down almost as far as her waist.., however in front it goes up to the point where it englobes all of the middle & upper stomach area.

In the back now we can see that the "gap" doesn't go that high.., but also it isn't "fixed" as low as what we can see on the sides..., still.., it is enough as not to show in her Dress.

You have to pay attention to the lines too.., since in this case we are talking about more or less circular angles.., hence since the cleavage in the back of the Dress is as the form of a V.., as it goes descending it helps to hide that area.

I remember we discussing this months ago.., about also if it was where Gin had the Key mechanism :)

Which means, Hinaichigo has two of these crocs.
I dont know about having two, but I remember her carrying what looks like a bigger one, one that she can hug to sleep, tho I'd always dismissed a size difference as inconsequential. In anycase, if she has two, I can't really blame her; it takes alot to protect oneself from Suiseiseki.

Be careful because her eyes are blackholes.
I would love to be pulled in anytime. If I'm not already. :heh: Hmm. Need your opinions. @JHawkNH: What drew me to RM. Quite simple really. I was bored (holidays), saw this exotic character on my friends MSN userpicture, asked him about it, and he pimped it to me. Initially I was concerned about the seeming "girliness" of it, but looking back, I should kick myself for not watching it ealier.

@On Gin's back: Maybe this means that by the end of the series Gin will turn Human. :heh: And erm, elope with Megu.

What was it that first drew you to RM?

I can't remember how, but I saw a clip for the op and I was blown away! The S1 op is still my favourite sound track of all time.

I still remember beeing stunned when I saw this thread reach 60 pages..., now 240 more pages after... xDD
We've had a great run so far.., and like I've said it before.., its not over yet ;)

Do you remember when a few of us got nailed for going off topic? I think we made up all the deleted posts (and more) in a day :)

*sniffle* I won't be happy without them too! (but Sou has a black mark next to her name in my book!)

Personally I think Rozen is suffering from oldest child favoritism, some parents favor the youngest, some the oldest.... Everyone keeps saying how Shinku is the one who will be Alice blah blah blah, and I support that sentiment because I like Shinku the most. But if we look at Rozen's actions, hasn't he given Gin the most chances? (of course this could be because he felt slightly guilty in missing out her torso...)

wow I was freaked out when I caught the scene where nori mumbles in her sleep:
"no Jun! I can't! we're siblings!"

now I re-watched the first episode and realized what she meant when she walked in on jun and shinku having a tea party and said
"Is that one of those "Dutch Wives (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_wife)?"

and then I remembered the scene where Jun doesn't want to tell them about the book in his bag and Nori says
"You don't have to show us if you don't want to. It's perfectly normal for boys your age to be interested in that sort of thing."

Well, you can still apply a rigidly deterministic view to the wave functions themselves. As I understand things it just means Laplace's Demon goes from knowing exactly what will happen to knowing probabilities for all occurences.

"Jun! How are you?" Souseiseki said running up to her older classmate.

"Oh...Souseiseki...good, good." He let out a sigh.

"You don't seem well." She said put turned her eyes to the ground at her briefcase.

"It's kind of hard...adjusting with moving back here...I'd lived in the big city for so long...this little village is..."

"Different?" Souseiseki asked. She smiled. It wasn't right.

"Yeah."

"I have to go, Suiseiseki will nag at me for being late." Souseiseki ran ahead, turned around and waved goodbye.

Behind where I looked back; (Who’s in the front?)

"You'll get in trouble, for playing near the well." Hina-Ichigo warned.

"Don't worry!" Kanaria smiled. The two school girls ran up through a path cleared in the forest where the well was.

"But..."

"Don't you want to see the flowers that grow around the well?" Kanaria asked. She reached back and grabbed Hina-Ichigo's hand. They rushed to the well. Kanaria, more motivated than Hina-Ichigo, swished her finger around the water.

A silence blanketed the well and the girls as Hina-Ichigo picked flowers and Kanaria store into the maddening darkness that was the well water.

"Let's get some water for home." Hina-Ichigo said tying the flowers into a bunch with a ribbon from her hair.

"Good idea." Kanaria nodded and both ran off to find a bucket.

In the dark, I raised my claws (and slashed apart the night)

The door clicked open and Suiseiseki looked over her shoulder to see Kirakishou enter her shop.

"Ah, Kirakishou, I haven't seen you in the longest time." Suiseiseki exclaimed putting the knife down that she was using to cut the meat for the deli stands.

"Barasuishou is hungry. I figured I could stop here." Kirakishou shrugged and looked around the little store.

Suiseiseki turned her back to the girl and tightened her apron when she remembered Souseiseki.

"You didn't happen to see Souseiseki, did you?" She asked with a smile.

"She was with Jun, I do believe." Kirakishou said looking back. Her one eye blinked.

Suiseiseki shuddered. Seeing her bright violet eye open reminded her of a night many years ago involving a terrible incident. Nobody talked about it. Ever.

It registered in her mind what Kirakishou had said and went back to cutting. This time more furiously.

Kirakishou could see (and hear) this and got slightly nervous. She made a purchase quickly.

The raindrops turn into droplets of blood and travel down my cheeks

Nori quickly started to prepare dinner. She got home much quicker than her brother. She would stop at the Honzaki store and grab some food and run back home.

The village was small; there was a high school/middle school, elementary school, cemetery, shrine, doctor, convenience store, and a library. Those were the main and fore most used services in the village.

It was easy to know everything, and when something happened, everybody knew about it.

Nori smiled as she put the finishing touches on dinner and clapped her hands together. Such a fast and wondrous cook!

Jun soon came to the door and Nori greeted him happily.

"Jun, dinner is ready." Nori smiled.

Jun was always ready to eat when he arrived home.

"Good." He said putting his schoolwork aside.

"Oh, Suiseiseki Honzaki called. She wanted you to call back." Nori said thoughtfully.

"I'll phone her after dinner." He said and Nori place the food on the table.

If no place for me to return to exists anywhere anymore

Barasuishou sat looking out the window waiting for her older sister to return.

She watched as students came from school, making sure not to look at her house.

They thought Barasuishou crazy...but that was not true. Not in Barasuishou's right.

She did not go to school and hardly left the house. She intimidated Kirakishou's friends that she brought over and manipulated Kirakishou into doing anything she wanted.

She tapped her foot against the ground. She was becoming slightly aggravated that her sister had not returned.

Still she sat silently. Her eyes following two young students carrying a bucket of water. She wanted to spit at them, angry that they would live so freely while she was trapped, a prisoner of her won mind.

Would they not realize? That nothing was worth doing, for everyone in the village would someday die. Or did they ignore that fact? Whatever it was it drove Barasuishou mad...something so blatant disappointing resting her mind allowing no sanctity.

In a quick jog, to a quick run, to a fast sprint Shank dashed home. Out of breath she twisted her keys into the door and ran in. She through her briefcase down.

She hated to dawdle. She wanted to be home, to the warmth and state of mind, that was safety.

She went to the kitchen. Looked around. Looked like nobody had come home yet. Hina-Ichigo and Kanaria lived with her for when Shinku's parents died she was left alone with a big house and the two little sisters came and moved in.

She let her hair hang all down at once.

She started for the upstairs. A bath was in order. It was the first day of school, how traumatic.

In her class was Souseiseki, Kirakishou, Hina-Ichigo, Kanaria, Jun, Tomoe, Yuna and Suigintou.

She had rather wanted to see Suiseiseki but didn't see her at all. The class was for grade 7's, and 8's. Suiseiseki was in grade 8, so it was curious she was not there. The teacher did call her name though.

Shinku slipped into her bath and lay there for a while. It was relaxing.

"Shinku! We're home!" The two young girls called. Shinku slipped under water and sighed, pulling herself up.

On the other side of the dark, (the morning won't come anymore)

On her bike she sped home, she was a marvellous beauty to behold. She glided forward and sped around the long twisting streets of the village.

Yuna was in grade eight with the others and all marvelled her.

She was speeding along to the Shibasaki residence.

She reached the house and smiled. She placed her bike down and ran up to the door knocking slightly. A frail looking boy opened the door.

"Kazuki! You forgot your books." Yuna smiled.

"Oh?" Kazuki asked taking them fro her "Thank You."

"No problem, you need them to do the homework." Yuna said and glided down to the street, she waved goodbye.

Kazuki waved as well and the beauty sped off.

Kazuki lived with his elderly parents, who had protected themselves from the curse, protected was a very mild word for what they had done.

Kazuki went inside. His father was off at the Honzaki store. He often helped the sisters out. Souseiseki was Kazuki's best friend, unaware that Souseiseki had a crush on him, how ever unbelievable that sounded.

His mother was sitting in the living room reading a book.

"You best do your homework quickly. Your father may be cross to find out you forgot your books." She said and Kazuki nodded.

"I know." He sat down and got straight to work.

Inside the mirror, with countless wriggling and stretching hands

Suigintou, being her normal loner self, had taken the long way to get to herself. She knew very well which way her classmates would go.

She passed the Honzaki store and caught Kirakishou coming out of the store.

"Suigintou!" Kirakishou exclaimed.

"Ugh, you." Suigintou hissed.

Kirakishou was unfazed "How come you are taking such a long way to your house?"

"Because, I wanted to avoid people like you."

Kirakishou was still unfazed "You should come eat at my house."

"Ha!" Suigintou spat.

"Please? I'd leave you alone for awhile."

"You've told me that over and over." Suigintou proceeded on and Kirakishou followed.

"Pleaaaaase!"

"Will you shut up?" Suigintou asked as Kirakishou repeated Please, Please over and over.

"Yes!" Kirakishou smiled.

"Alright, I'll come over at 5:00." Suigintou said and Kirakishou departed down a back alley that lead to her house.

Tomoe fell back on to her bed and sighed. She could only find swears.

Suiseiseki had it in for her. She knew it. They were in the same class. So, Tomoe could only put it together.

She shook her head, that little witch meant nothing. She sat up. She had lots of homework to do. It was the first day, how cruel was that?

She got to work as fast as she could manage.

Though she found it particullarly hard to think straight.

Her phone rang and she thanked god. She dashed over to it, springing from her spot and grabbed it.

"Hello?" She asked.

"Tomoe I was wondering, could I come pick some material up from your house?" Micchan asked.

"Oh...sure." Tomoe said.

"Alright. The Big Shrine festival is coming up and I promised to make Shinku's Kimono." Micchan smiled.

"You sure are busy, are you sure that's not going to take some time?" Tomoe asked.

"No, and if it does I'll just go to Sakurada for help." Micchan giggled.

"Come pick the material up whenever you want." Tomoe said.

"Kay."

"Bye."

"Good Bye."

Tomoe's parents had owned a shop for sewing and stuff. They died and all the material was left in her basement.

Micchan, the village doctor, always came and got it from her, first she bought it and then Tomoe just wanted to get rid of it.

Micchan twirled around on her spinning chair. Paperwork was so incredibly boring.

She stopped, her head in a whirl, and store at her needle and sewing stuff.

The festival was coming up and she hadn't even started Shinku's Kimono.

She had made Yuna's as well, but much earlier.

Shinku was to make Kanaria's and Hina-Ichigo's leaving her no time to make her own. Neither of the girls wanted to wear Shinku's old Kimono so she had to make new ones, much to her dismay.

The phone rang. She picked it up.

"Hello?"

"Micchan, I need to come in for a check up. Straight away."

"Oh? What is it?" Micchan asked.

"I don't know...I just don't feel well."

"When was your last check up."

"Don't remember."

"Well...I'll have you in tomorrow." She said.

"I heard you were making Shinku and Yuna's Kimono's...is that true?"

"Yep."

"Your a masterful seamstress though."

"I'm sure the Kimono's will turn out masterfully. The most magnificent of all the elegant robes at the festival. I'd hate to be one of their rivals." Micchan laughed cockily.

The other person scoffed "Indeed."

"Alright, I have you booked for tomorrow...Can I get your full name." Micchan said.

"Honzaki, Souseiseki Honzaki" The girl said quietly.

Jun fell onto his back. Lying down on his bed he store at the roof and then the clock.

He had to go to sleep. He had stayed up late all summer, but now he had to go to sleep early at Nori's command.

Facing a day of school with his insane classmates, who knew what would happen.

A dangerous thought. He chuckled and turned over to face the wall.

A sigh escaped him and he fell asleep. Un-prepared for the morning.

Anyways, I stopped working on my original fanfic to work on this one. I probably won't post each chapter up one by one (unless you'd like that)

But I'd like some people to suggest like...death scenes. You guys know the Rozen Maiden's best, who do you think would brutally kill who?

(bet nobody can guess my second favorite anime.)

I actualy notice that in the japanese language the way the sentences are constructed & the words formulated they contain a much greater accent soundwise towards the tone of attitude desired.
Hence why the " fufufu " can be atributed to a more egocentrical, narcisistic & hypocrital type of laughter..., which suits Gin pretty well as we well know ;)

In order to comprehend better this onomatopeia you should see the laughter more as a what the sound you make when you " diss " something..
Which would be something like... " hmph "

Suiseiseki appeared at school the next day. Though she was an upperclassmen now. She had been promoted, because apparently her I.Q soared above the others in her class.

The store was closed until 2:30 when she got off away from school.

She was irked though, and Souseiseki could tell because she was not in Jun's class.

Micchan spun around on her chair again. This time set free by the door. She ran over. Souseiseki had not been able to make it to the clinic so they decided upon Micchan's house.

She scurried over to the door and let Souseiseki in. She hurried in.

Both skipped the formalities and went back to Micchan's office to proceed with Souseiseki's physical.

"So...anything in particular...that's been bothering you?" Micchan asked.

Souseiseki shook her head.

Micchan hurried through it and found Souseiseki normal.

She then proceeded to work on the Kimono's.

Souseiseki sat there watching her. Something, something didn't feel right. To Micchan.

"So, how much are they paying you to make their Kimono's?" Souseiseki asked.

"Nothing, I said I'd do it for free, Shinku said she wanted to impress Jun, That's what Yuna said too...He he...By making both I'm contradicting them to each other." Micchan giggled.

Souseiseki faked a laugh "Suiseiseki really wants to impress Jun too."

"Might be hard, these will turn out great." Micchan smiled.

"If you don't finish them they won't." Souseiseki mumbled turning slightly on the swivel chair.

"Oh? Why wouldn't I? Can you pass me those scissors?" Micchan asked.

Souseiseki lifted them up. But paused.

"Scissors?" Micchan repeated.

"Suiseiseki really, really wants Jun to notice her for once...not them...not them...It's always them!" Souseiseki mumbled but it turned into a furious rant, her pitch uncontrolled.

"Souseiseki..." Micchan looked back.

"She is much more important...right now...than myself." Souseiseki said clenching the scissors.

"Souseiseki..." Micchan repated numbly.

Souseiseki let out a groan before throwing her arm back and then forward. Micchan turned around, startled by Souseiseki's radical behaviour.

Souseiseki lunged forward slashing at the terrified Micchan.

Micchan grabbed her hands.

"Souseiseki! Get a hold of yourself!" Micchan arguged.

Souseiseki looked depressed yet fueled. She dug the scissors into Micchans wrist. Micchan let out a yelp and let go of her to grab her hand.

Souseiseki swiped at her and Micchan stumbled back.

Blood spalttered over the material layed over the floor, over the desk and all her papers and over both the two in the room. Micchan fell back as her arms became limp and her lip quivering. Souseiseki stabbed Micchan's arm again but turned and stabbed the old shears into her chest over and over.

The doctor fell back dead.

Souseiseki was out of breath. She had a new problem infront of her.

She went about cleaning the scene up. While throwing herself into a hysteria off realizing she had killed someone who had practically raised her.

She destroyed the evidence that she had an appointment with Souseiseki and wrapped Micchan up in Shinku's red Kimono Material. She then threw that body down the doctors stairs.

She washed herself off and proceeded outside. It was pouring.

She locked the doctors door but heard a friendly hello.

"Ah, Souseiseki! What are you doing out?"

"K-Kanaria? OH...how are you...I-I was just taking care of Micchan's place...S-She went out on a vacation." Souseiseki smiled.

"Oh, I didn't know that. Are you going home now?" Kanaria asked.

"Yep." Souseiseki nodded.

"I'm going to the florist for Shinku, so I'll see you at school tommorow!" She waved goodbye and Kanaria darted off. Souseiseki shuddred, she knew, it was painfully clear, one person dying...would start a chain of horror. Ended at her. It was disgusting.

"Ah, Jun! How are you today?" Suiseiseki said running on the balls of her feet.

"Good I guess." He shrugged.

"I didn't know we took the same way to school." She giggled.

"Where's Souseiseki?" He asked. Suiseiseki looked cracked, but hid it from him.

"She's gone to see Mr.Shibasaki, he's going to run the store for a bit." Suiseiseki smiled.

The school bell rang out and they sped ahead.

"Vacation? Oh...I have a check up with her tommorow...weird." Yuna smiled as Kanaria shrugged and Replied "I know, I know!"

"Well, she'll be back soon I'm sure." Hina-Ichigo smiled.

"Whatcha guys talkin' about?" Souseiseki said sitting down in her long stretch of table.

"Dr.Micchan." Hina-Ichigo smiled.

"W-why?" Souseiseki said turning her head.

Hina-Ichigo glared at her "Because, she went on vacation."

Kanaria pouted noticing the two staring blankly at each other.

"It's not like we are going to get deathly sick over the next while." Yuna shurgged.

Class soon began. It was a rather boring class to start the day off with. Next period was math and then...

...Physical Education.

"Go!"

Kirakishou and Yuna started running along the small track. Physical examination, testing the students abilities and whatnot, always, always, was a very boring experiance.

"Come on Yuna!" Kanaria chirped.

"Kirakishou is the fastest runner in the class, there's no way Yuna will beat her-Oh snap! Yuna won?" Hina-Ichigo said slowly but then highpitched.

"I knew she would!" Kanaria said jumping up and down.

Hina-Ichigo sighed and gave her sister some loose change.

"Hina-Ichigo, Tomoe, you two are next." Kirakishou waved.

"Let's get this over with." Tomoe said stretching her legs.

The two went to the starting line and got in position to start running.

"Go!"

Tomoe darted off leaving Hina-Ichigo at the starting line in a daze. Tomoe was much faster than Hina-Ichigo with short stubby legs.

When Hina-Ichigo managed to finish the race she went in search of her sister, she could not find her anywhere.

She went to Jun. "Have you seen Kanaria?" She got a no.

She went to Yuna. "She dissapeared when I went to race." She got a no.

She went to Suigintou. "She has to run soon." She got a no (aswell as a buzz off).

She went to Kirakishou. "Do you know if she is hiding?" She got a no.

She went to Shinku. "I want to ask her my time." Again, a no.

Hina-Ichigo sighed and the lunch bell rang. Though it was nothing in comparison (of attention) to a school girl's scream.

I was interested in why a character would be called "Laplace's Demon" so I looked it up and it seems that he's named for a hypothetical proposal by Pierre-Simon Laplace, an 18th century mathematician.

If I remembered, I once stated that Gin-sama sheds so much feather it is going to take forever to clean it all up. Flo then mentioned making pillows out of those feathers to sell, only problem is...those feathers were sharp as blades.

So, I'm bringing out this issue again to state what we can really use those pillows for:

Killing people and getting away with it.

Supposing that we have to kill someone wealthy who checked into this hotel. And it so happens that he is going to have a meeting all day, so he obviously is going to return to hotel looking like what a cat spat out. What the would be murderer can do is disguise himself as one of the hotel staff, one of those who does the room cleaning.

Wear cleaning gloves to avoid suspicion....and leaving behind fingerprints and enter the room, pretending to clean up whatever mess the target left behind. Then swap a pillow, or both pillows on the bed, or all the pillows, with those filled with Gin-sama's feathers.

Then leave and go somewhere the murderer can observe to really be sure that the target is eliminated.

Target returns, exhausted obviously, and then throws himself onto his bed. Head makes contact with pillow. A bloody mess is left behind. The murderer leaves to collect his payment.

The best part, the police and crime scene investigator is going to be really baffled. Head stabbed repeatedly by a pillow? No fingerprints? Possible suspect is a hotel staff and none of them matched the murderer's description? Best part is the murderer is already on an airplane back to HQ?

A beautiful yet messy way to execute someone.

What happens is just make sure his head makes contact with the pillow. If that doesn't happen, then the killer would have to go back to the hotel, find a way to infiltrate, either through disguises or some infiltration technique fitting for a splinter cell, get in, take the pillow and then bash him. Then get out the same way the killer gets in.

If the killer infiltrates via disguise, dump it, assume another identity and make an escape.

And yet another baffling case involving a pillow used as a bludgeoning tool for the investigators to solve.

Yep, thing I love is that I can QC (i.e. Theres a defect here; dunk it in thinner and redo!! :heh:) before actually paying. I have faith in him though, although he is relatively inexperienced compared to a Pro-Modeller I know of, he is rather good. (That "Pro" would cost over 300) WAIIIIII my pay is only a 3 digit figure. :twitch: :heh:

So yeah. It'll be a few months before I can call it completed, I guess.

When one thinks of it, each of the dolls of RM has the character of the major European nations of the turn of the twentieth century, even though they ostensibly all come from Germany. Three examples:

Suigintou: Proud and strong, she nevertheless suffers from inferiority complexes which she tries to hide behind an aggresive personality façade. The Germany of the Kaiser, her Gothic dress a reminder of her origins.

Shinku: Imperialistic, domineering, haughty. In other words, English. Plus, she dresses in red, the crimson of the British Empire in days gone by. Possibly the most well-adjusted of the three, or at least the most content with her place in the world.

Now this comes with another discussion on how to use those feathers to kill a certain French maiden.

Seeing that Gin-sama's feathers were NOT metal, we could keep that in the pocket, sneak past any metal detector and use the feathers as a stabbing/slashing weapon.

Maybe just follow Suiseiseki until a few crows come in (or bribe the crows to come), and in the confusion involving the crows, stab Suiseiseki in the neck with the feather, then leave. Then investigators who support Suiseiseki will blame the crows!

Ok, on the less murderous function of the feathers. It can function as a quill AND a penknife. Useful, no?

Since I am Japanese-impaired, I am not affected by the 'desu'. Heck, I didn't even know she added desu to her sentences till I started reading up about it.

What attracted me to Suiseiseki's character is that despite her mischievious behaviour, she has a heart of gold. Besides, I love how she torments Hina Ichigo and Jun( especially the time when she dropped a boiler onto his face).

Well I don't know about Sui's popularity in first season but in the second one she is the doll who got the more character developpement. Not only we found the "hihihi Evil witch desu" pendant of Sui's character that we all like in S1 (desu, ne ? :p), but her steps foward to be close du Jun (Ep 4 was incedibly cute), her will not fight her twin and to convince her te stop the Alice quest and most of all her incredible ep 11 made her to my mind the best character of this S2.

Even if Gin's encounter with Megu was the bigest point of this S2 (my favourite ep is the 6), Traümed was Sui's season... like the first one was Shinku's. Maybe that's why they want now to give us a special Gin Episode with Ouberture.

So I'm not surprised to see her doing the best performance among the Rozen Dolls' during the Anime Grand Prix (7th and Shinku 10th) and to see her winning to Gin yersterday during their Saimoe battle.

Lol this may degenerate into a flame war between the Desuits and Junkards; but this thread has great people so it wont. Discussion: No its not for Desu. As I've said, its not the word; but really its the way she says it, in the situations she uses it - which go to reflect her personality; which I love. (1) Tsundere. No fanboy can resist a Tsundere. A tsundere is :love:. Worship Tsundere. (2) I think Sui can be said to have an inferiority complex too, but the way she manifests it is :love:; imagining the rest (esp Human - she hates Humans btw) as chibis or lower beings then her, being all proud and mighty, as well as bullying HinaIchigo when she can. (3) Yet while those qualities may detract from any other person, Suiseiseki more than made up for it; with her strength and love overpowering any of the other traits which were really only superficial. (4) Someone said in the Saimoe thread that Suiseiseki provided the most laughs in the series; very true.

Suiseiseki is a character that generates laughs and a general good feeling; yet, shes also the kind that makes you smile softly, during good times, during her cute times that Blablabla mentioned; and during the bad times too, tho at those times, you may also cry with her.

I've never seen Gin like that, maybe I'm not trying hard enough; but liking two dolls is handful enough. I've really got nothing wrong with Gin; (in fact this thread has helped in helping me to like her) but to me, she can't compare to what I see in Suiseiseki. :)

Though i agree that Sui provide the most laugh in the anime and that Suigintou seems to be the coldest.But we can see how much Gin-sama had changed during her time wif Megu. She didnt and couldnt bring herself to use all of Megu's life-force during her fights.That showed that she is able to care for other.Morever,how she reacted towards Shinku in the last eps or the smile she gave to Megu(refer to RM-FAN ava :heh: ) does show some of her character. Its mainly because of the cool and heartless exterior that she had shown for so long that she couldnt really show any emotions to her fellow sister dolls or Megu.

Hey, Sui got alot of development in S2! Reading the maths book upside down. Getting closer to Jun. Getting Jun as a medium. Getting bullied by HinaIchigo(!!). Having to deal with Sou. Not wanting to Fight. Sou's death aftermath. Protecting Kana and dying. In fact, I think she got the most. :)

I was pretty indifferent to Sui post-S1, it was after I saw her in S2 that I fell in love.

why? its cause we are still seeing gin develop her personality and changes that megu are responsible for...
sui on the other hand is just the same old same old without much deveopment (yep we all know shes evil with a heart of gold :p)
gin going through (or i hope) a revolution and that is the greatest thing about her...plus shes a lot more hotter than sui :D

I like them both really, its a hard choice to like one or the other, But Gin like you said has had a great deal more of development, I wouldn't even go as far as sayin' she's evil either, just a little misguided really, She did have all good intentions of trying to heal Megu right? lol she just went about it in a evil way xD

Megu and Gin's head are from the manga, but the dress looked photoshopped from another source. Her head is somewhat out of proportion and the lines are much lighter on the dress.

The art-style does resemble the original Peach-Pit's artwork in the Manga..., however I belive that this is fan-art..

Well.., simply because Gin would probably never use a Dress like that, even if Megu asked her :p (altough I could be rong ^^), but the main reason is that she has no "doll joints"... ;
If you look closely..., you'll see that whoever draw the picture, did not include the joints in her body, hence.., I belive it Not to be original artwork :)

We need to think about it to see if there is a way forward. It is possible to cut and paste any suitable Q&A posts from the original thread and post them again into a new thread but that would take a huge amount of effort. We have no objection to that but it is a mammoth task I suspect.

If anyone is interested in joining Alu and me in this job, please PM the either of us to get some guidelines as to what to do and how to go about it; to the aim of standardizing any QnA entries and doing things in an orderly manner. And yes, it will involve reading thru all 3xx pages and compiling specific QnA topics.

Also, feel free to add on to any of the QnA entries so far by posting appropriately in that thread. For actual discussions of the topics in the QnAs I feel it would be best to return to this thread. Anything relevant will be updated in the particular QnAs :)

Alu made a good point, and thats why I'm doing this. That this arrangement would benefit many of those new to RM (and some older ones) as many hardly want to read thru 3xx pages to get answers. Therefore cataloging the Q and As in another thread would be a wonderful way to introduce RM to newer ones.

For the Rozen Maidens then. (btw if anyone is wondering, I will be doing a contents list post once everything is written and arranged)

hey all, I know it's prolly already been discussed, but what do you think of Rozen Mugen? For those of you who don't know what it is, Mugen is a free completely customisable fighting game. You can add your own characters, areas, everything. Rozen Mugen is a version with the characters from Rozen Maiden.

Anyways, I for the life of me can't beat kanaria as shinku. Kanaria just keeps using ranged attack after ranged attack. If I try to jump over them, she throws pizzicato at me and if I make it past that she uses a close-range super move or some weird area of effect close range attack that parries my attack, knocks me back, and does damage.

wow holy crap... I had a level 8 CPU kanaria fight level 8 CPU versions of all the other characters and she owned them all. She won every single fight, most with 90% or more health left. She even beat Jun/Hinaichigo and two suigintou finals on her own. They really need to remove her counter.

Luckly the announcement was made, and while it not beeing a 3rd Season, it IS new Rozen Maiden animation.., hence, its the best next thing..

And well.., since it will give a tremendous focus on Gin, what reason realy was there to become unhappy :p ;
In fact.., given all the information we have now, it realy seems that ~Ouverture~ is more of a "required step" we need to make in order to then move to a 3rd Season & possibly the conclusion of the story.

So.., if anything.., we need to praise Peach-Pit for giving us this Prelude OVA :D

However.., and I say this now..., if in 1 year we do not get a 3rd Season.., yes.., something bad will definitly happen ^^

I think I'm starting to see a pattern of cleverly disguised references... For example:

Suigintou to Suiseiseki: "To fall to these [Souseiseki's] scissors... that would be your dream come true, wouldn't it?" ummm... how exactly am I sopposed to take that? Suiseiseki doesn't make any rebuttal so there must be some truth to it.

In the scene where Tomoe gives Jun her notes and the homework that he has to do, there's a weird beeping noise. Jun then leans over the desk and says "don't look" what exactly was he embarrased about? He was only doing his homework... :rolleyes:

That beeping noise was just part of the earthquake warning the station embedded in the first episode (because there was an earthquake at that time, obviously). As for Jun, he probably didn't want her to see any mistakes he might've made. Not that he has to worry about that... Looks pretty much correct, from what we can see a few moments before that scene. ;)
